I really love the apartment complex. When I first became a resident Amanda, Gabby has been nothing but amazing. Even recently since Janelle joined the team she has been helpful and responsive in a timely manner. Every little question or concern that I have always had have are answered in a timely manner. Let’s not forget the amazing maintenance staff members who are always available when there is an immediate request need in my home. The staff members here really goes above and beyond to make sure our property is up to par. I have live here a little over a year, the maintenance and pest control is excellent. Every thing is done online. The management address problem immediately. The ground keeper she works really hard at maintaining the grounds. It’s very quite and safe. We just renewed our lease another year.

I was interested in an apartment at the Desoto and was tentative about the admin fee. I ask very pointedly how the process works and was told there was a $50 app fee and $150 admin fee. So after thinking it over for a day I returned. I said if I don't get approved how long to get my money back. No longer than 72 hrs was the answer. So I decided to move forward. Then after running my card they then said oh yeah there will also be a surety bond to move in. At which time I said that is something I should have been told beforehand so just cancel the app process and cancel the transaction. All within a five minute period. They got on the phone right then with their finance department and said he wants to cancel the app please cancel the transaction. As I left I was told the transaction was cancelled and would have my money back immediately. So after waiting the whole next day and into the next night I did not get my money back the transaction was not cancelled so I called and emailed with no response. Then another day later called again to inquire about my money and was told when our finance department gives us an answer we will call you. That is extremely shady and not honest I need my money now or will have to take steps to get my money back. Maybe call the news or whatever is needed. Beware and get all details and make sure nothing is omitted in discussions. Do not pay anything without solid research Update: Was told Yesterday there was a mix up with the processing system. "You will have you're money back tonight." So again today contact for info. Email says money processed for return, and process complete. But it could take 5 to 7 days for me to get it. So again getting the facts is important. The staff there are super friendly and seem to love their job and community but bad business experiences can ruin that. So that being said I will update as the issue continues. Too bad too because I kinda like the place. But to me business is business. And I am very protective of my money and only expect truth when It comes to my money and business dealings. Update time: Still another day without my money. I will update again Tomorrow.

Fantastic place to stay & excellent staff! From the first day I found interest in The DESOTO, the Office Manager Brianna Mann was courteous, friendly, welcoming, and professional! The property is always tidy as maintenance meticulously checks every morning. Besides the airplanes, it’s usually quiet. It’s adjacent to almost every type of Food and Business you’re looking for. I highly recommend! -TB
Do not, and I repeat do not rent from this community! Is infested with roaches, and no matter how much you complain they can't get rid of them. Then when you move out they wanna call charge you $1800 to cancel your lease. So they want you to just live and I have roach infested home.
I had a tour of the property and I feel in love with the staff. Kiera was full of energy and showed she enjoyed her job. Catherine the manager answered my moms questions and made me feel confident I was making the right choice. The apartment was really big and I can afford the prices.
These apartments are nice but management is slow about getting things done. It took them almost a month to bring my washer and dryer and when my stove messed up it took them forever to come fix that. All in All I enjoy living here. The people are nice and it's a really nice neighborhood :)
This apartment is alright. , I have some confusions with the office but over all I enjoy living here
Our apartment was recently taken ovee by new management. They have a mess to fix. The units have not been maintained and there are people who need to go. We have been flooded twice in last 8 months.
