Located 54 miles east of Los Angeles, Colton prides itself on being “a place for fun, a place for commerce.” Found on the Inland Empire region of San Bernardino, this small town lies where Interstate 10 and Interstate 215 cross paths.
Colton’s nickname is “Hub City” and the town houses Colton Crossing, a very busy railroad crossing in the United States. Since its establishment in 1875, Colton has grown into a thriving transportation network with a deep focus on high-quality living for its residents.
Recreation enthusiasts enjoy hiking the Santa Ana River Trail, which spans over 100 miles. Against the tall mountain backdrop, Colton attracts people to its community with simple Southern California living.

$350 holding deposit will not be returned. I asked their staff if I was not applicable, or found a new location during the process, if I would be refunded the holding deposit and was told yes. Now I am being told that I will not receive that deposit back because I did not respond to an email and they are keeping the 350….how is that okay.

Going to make it short at sweet. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. That’s all I gotta say. They’re just money hungry and will try to get whatever they can out of you.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about The District Apartment Homes! Thanks again for taking the time to leave us this information about your recent visit. Take care!
Quality of service is poor. Unprofessional. Non-communicative. Poor craftsmanship. When maintenance does work, they damage something else in the process. Then delay to respond. Also, if you make a service request, they’ll ignore it and post that it’s been completed. You get what you pay for and these guys are cheap.

Takes some time to reply, unprofessional at times; took most of my security deposit despite me leaving the unit in great shape. The neighbors are often loud, the smell of marijuana is overwhelming through the walls. Many do not walk their dogs on leashes. I would not recommend.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating a bad experience can be and apologize for the inconvenience. As you have subsequently moved out, we simply thank you for the feedback and want to let you know we are using it to make improvements.
Dumpsters are always overflowing. The management is very condescending. You are effectively not allowed to have guests over, unless they are willing to risk having their cars towed. Rent is absurd. They charge you for utilities that you already have to pay to the city. This management is horrible.

Affordable, clean, and conveniently located complex. My doggies and I are very satisfied with our unit and community.
Overall, great staff. From management to maintenance.
These are nice apts far as appliances but the up keep is old the roaches are too much and the pluming is very bad
great place to live, helpful staff and management.
There's always people smoking weed outside & inside so much that it comes into my apartment from the vents & management doesn't do anything about it. Many neighbors got robbed this past few week during the day when people are working & another at night. They're knocking on doors to see if people are home & if there is no answer then they make their move & management isnt doing anything to help & the security cameras don't even work. Since the new company has taken over it's horrible yes worse than before just with higher rent. They bumped up the rent so much & painted the buildings yet things are still broken inside with chipping paint, missing window screens, dirty air filters, weird electric wall sockets that don't hold on to whatever you plug in so it's scary because it can start a fire, they changed the bathroom light switches so now when you're in mid shower you gotta jump out in the dark to turn on the light etc. Now my rent is going up $300. two years ago the water heater in the apt. behind me broke & flooded my hallway & till this day I still have water damage that hasnt been repaired & it's dangerous.
I would not recommend moving in here they switched management and all the employees and they are very rude and inconsiderate of the people who live here. Very nice when you were trying to move in then don't care when there are maintenance issues they say they're going to call people and no one ever comes . The meeting with never fix anything right . People get shot here in the parking lot. They have been. Doing renovations for ever and I have noticed today at the people that were fixing the apartment below me had tapped in to my electricity so they can fix it up my husband called and complained and they said they would send someone out no one came in for an half hour so I walked in there and told them and still no one came me shut off electrical switches and all there music and lights Machine shut off they came outside to figure out what happened and then touch into someone else's line. This is so illegal they just hire people off the street and not real contractors to do anything these contractors or s this is so illegal they just hire people off the street and not real contractors to do anything theses people that are working on the apartment leave a mess everywhere
1) Apartments are not in good shape: I moved out in 2016 after living at this complex for 3 years- I kept hoping things would improve. Electric outlets were installed crooked. Baseboards were loose. Cabinets were worn and had thick coats of paint to hide damages. Shower was stained and glazed over but started peeling in days. Everything is fixed temporarily to sell the lease, but then when you move in stuff starts to fall apart. 2) Office Staff: Office girls are normally only interested in selling a lease, if you actually need anything they will find 30 reasons to not do their job. 3) Parking is awful: The assigned parking space was so far from my Unassigned spaces are scarce and way too close together, neighbors hit your car with doors even when they try not to.
My apartments are Eagleridge Apartment that sit in prime location for the Colton/Loma Linda area. We have a 24 hour Walmart, Fiesta Village Arcade, Beauty Shop, Barbra Shop, Circle K, Star Bucks, Rite Aid, every fast food location you can think of, a brand new High School "Grand Terrace High" and Loma Linda Hospital near by. This is a large apartment complex that is reasonably price with 4 pools, 3 Jacuzzi's, two parks for kids to play, pet friendly, and with up to 3 bedroom that are spacious with washers and dryers. We have one of the best Office Managers name Iris who will help you in any situation you may have. The grounds are well groomed and repairs are done quickly. With better personal screening of people who move in, this will be an Awesome location to live. Remember you can live in the best location but if the people don't keep up the property by being kind, respectable, hygienic, pick up after you dog, and place all garbage where it should be, a castle that should be sitting on the hill, will sit on a dumpster until we the people improve ourselves. Smile Always and love and respect your rental property as your own. Sincerely, La Verne
I have lived here for 4 years and I am close to Supermarket, malls, shopping centers & easy access to three different freeways and down the street from Fiesta village a great place to take the kids and have some fun. Which includes a washer and dryer in the apartment for a very reasonable and cheap price for a quiet & safe neighborhood. I have and continue to recommend Grand Terrace is a place to live you can't beat the price or the kindness of the neighbors who live here.
