Glenmoor is one of Fremont’s largest and oldest neighborhoods. Complemented by palm-tree-lined streets, Glenmoor is filled with ranch-style and Mediterranean-style single-family houses and modern apartments and townhomes. The cost of living in Fremont is rather high, and rent tends to be more expensive, but there are moderately priced options available as well. Glenmoor has excellent schools, a community pool, small neighborhood parks, and plenty of sidewalks.
As a neighborhood in Silicon Valley, professionals enjoy convenient commutes to multiple technology offices. Amplified by an active neighborhood association, Glenmoor feels like a separate city, maintaining a small-town feeling where everyone knows their neighbors. The neighborhood association hosts community events including a 4th of July parade, barbecues, and holiday ceremonies. Residents also enjoy Glenmoor’s central location that allows them to access the entire city of Fremont and other Bay Area communities.

Property Ratings at The District Fremont
My girlfriend and I are went apartment touring this week. We though the District's units were nicely updated, clean, and functional. We really liked the finishes and amount of space in the kitchen for preparing meals, and the in-unit washer/dryer for laundry. (New?) Management was very responsive on the scheduling an open house, and it's nice that pets are negotiable. It definitely will be one of our finalists.
I applied and was approved but the management is hard to get a hold of and they are in Milpitas. When time to get a hold of them they don’t answer and they took my deposit and didn’t give back. I was approved and supposed to move in but the manager didn’t even show up on the day of appointment to snow us the apartment and didn’t even have the decency to say sorry. She pretended like nothing happened. Also the day I went to see the apartment and the manager didn’t show up I saw really young kids about the age of 14 to 16 was smoking marijuana.it made me really upset with the management and condition.
If you get a downstairs unit, good luck sleeping if your upstairs neighbors like to stay up late. The floorboards are horrible and will squeak and creak with every step taken. If you live in an upstairs unit just know that you will contribute to your downstairs neighbors losing sleep. Other than that, the management is remote and so getting things from them can be a hassle but the maintenance guy is good. The neighborhood around is a bit dirty. Lots of trash around on the street off of Bell St. There are a lot of shops and food around though, so that's a plus. I would avoid this place if possible. There are better places for less or the same price.
