Whitney provides residents with a quiet suburban environment, but it is still convenient to the excitement Las Vegas is known for. Whitney is about eight miles away from the iconic Strip and 10 miles from Downtown Las Vegas. Along with a great location, Whitney residents enjoy having easy access to plenty of parks, trails, and golf courses like Clark County Wetlands Park and Royal Links Golf Club. The neighborhood is also just 10 miles away from Lake Las Vegas, providing residents with lakefront golf courses and green space just minutes from home. You’ll also find locals enjoying Lake Las Vegas Water Sports, a family-friendly water park with an inflatable obstacle course. Although Whitney is a laid-back retreat, the Sam Boyd Stadium brings excitement to the area. The stadium is home to the University of Nevada Las Vegas Rebels and several special events like AMA Supercross Series Finals.

I've been in my unit two years, and I am very happy with it. I have no bugs, but I'm such a clean person that I maintain my space well. I have access to the gym when I need it, which is 9am to 5pm. The recreational center is very nice. It has a gym, game room, and place to host a party. The landlord allows people to have one parking pass per household. Then there are spaces for visitors to park. My only concerns about the complex have nothing to do with the current landlord or how the property is managed. I'm grateful for my home.

Management changes alot on this property, They are very nice but have recently became bug infested, The people who live here smoke on premises and this is supposed to be a "NON" smoking apartment. The bums hangout on property. Its not the greatest but the rent is within my budget. Maintenance is okay, whenever they get to you hold your breath! Otherwise, if you like the dumpster over flowing with trash and the pool never opens nor fitness center then come here.

Gates are constantly breaking and the side gate is open to the public all day . Gym and pool are never open. Office is closed weekends and for two hours everyday. Open trash is being left everywhere in the stairs in the street next to cars literally smells like trash all the time. Sinks, toilets and shower are always breaking. Mold and bugs are everywhere. Oh and there aren’t enough parking spots for everyone!! Lastly the new staff will literally talk poorly about the tenants in front of everyone !

If you love a "non-smoking" community that constantly stinks of garbage and cigarette smoke, then this is the place for you. The dumpsters are overloaded, the tenants are extremely loud, the sidewalks are full of trash/animal waste, and the office rarely answers the phone! I literally hold my breath and tip toe around when I need to go outside, some areas are beyond disgusting and minimal effort is made to make things better. The rent and square footage ratio aren't terrible given present economy, but I cannot wait to get my family out of this place! If you don't mind unhygienic conditions and crazy excessive noise at all hours of the day, then inquire today! :D

I highly suggest looking elsewhere especially if you have children. Although it is a gated community and residents are required to get background checked, it is NOT SAFE at all. I was shot at while walking my dog across from the neighborhood and was unable to get out of my lease so had to live in fear for almost a year. There's always suspicious people jumping over walls, walking around at night, and just swarmed with criminals, drugs, and gang activity. Theres no where for kids to play which is extremely dangerous considering the community has small parking lots. Dogs are always off their leashes. The leasing office personnel are incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. They don't want to help you and are impossible to get a hold of unless you track them down in the office. Yet, they somehow manage to harrass you with monthly "mandatory" inspections with little notice. Their notices that are stuck in your door read urgency even when it's accued by their mistakes. Rent amounts changes, or they somehow miscalculated your move in fees so you immediately owe them money three mos prior to the lease ending, with no explanation. When I moved in I had just graduated college and was in transition from half time work to my career, with very little money. I'm a professional and was treated by office staff as if I were a criminal. I received lease violation notices making several invalid accusations. I was spoken to disrespectfully and none of my concerns were ever handled by the leasing office. Leasing staff is constantly changing, so if you call and they actually decide to answer the phone, they "don't know" and tell you to call their property manager. I do NOT recommend signing up to live there!! You will be stuck in a year lease, and will be miserable. They will harrass you on a monthly basis, yet when you need something you can't get a hold of them. Living there was a joke!! I'd give the property a half star rating if that were an option.
I've lived here going on 5 years. When I first moved in it was great! Management was great as well, but as time went on, I've notice that Management has been changing pretty frequently, and it's been going down hill. It's a low income housing apartment, and it seems like they just don't care about who they bring in. My lease is about to be up very shortly, and I am considering finding somewhere else to live.
I can honestly say I enjoy living here. Everything is convenient especially being close to the freeway. I know all my neighbors, they watch out for me. What's more important is that maintained is quick. I recommend this place to anyone.
I like the spacious floor plans they are huge. And the property is kept clean.
