Property Ratings at The Dunes at St. Andrews
I would NOT live here. The management is fine but my living experience was less then friendly. I lived here for a year from July 2022 - July 2023 and while I was here I had an apartment that was full of spiders. I had this problem from the time I moved in, but I figured it was just because it hadn't been inhabited for a while. However, over the past year I had over 40+ spiders found in the bathroom, living room, kitchen, bedroom closet, and one even in the bed... After bring this attention to the management they had pest control come out and spray over 5x and insist that the problem had been eradicated, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Some of the pictures include what I found just by themselves and the traps were what management had me lay out all over the apartment for the year. 20 traps later the spiders never left. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Mixed feelings. Loved the space I was in but absolutely have no respect for the management here. Was falsely accused of things in my apartment caused by neighbors in the building. Then upon moving out on July 4th, 2018 I was charged an additional $635 on top of them keeping my apartment deposit and pet deposit. I spent a week cleaning and making sure that everything was in good condition by my move out. I have over 40 pictures of my apartment on move out day along with a video walk through showing that every room was clear and cleaned as well as 3 witnesses who can attest that the charges are false. I am not saying everything was perfect but I know for a fact there is no reason these additional charges should have been added. I am perfectly fine with an apartment keeping my deposit for wear and tear, but to then charge an additional $635 on top of everything else is so unethical it has me pursuing options to correct this unacceptable behavior demonstrated by the management team at the dunes. Why does an individual pay a deposit, pet deposit, rent and pet rent every single month if in the end you charge whatever you want regardless if they are false charges? I would avoid this place but the area is very pleasant.
These apartments are a scam they will charge you $50 for and application free and the $175 for admin fee which they don’t clearly explain to at all so you’ll be out of $225 if they for some reason don’t approved you or you decide no to rent with them and on top of the be aware the charge $250 at move in! Let do the math you out of $475 with them that’s almost half the rent. I will NEVVVERRR rent with them.
If living in a smoke free apartment is important to you, steer clear of this place. They sell the apartment as "smoke-free" but after moving in I was told that there are tenants who are "grandfathered" in and can still smoke. My apartment smells like I smoke cigarettes all the time and my neighbor smokes weed most days and that smell is in my apartment too. There is never enough parking, and the parking lot is full of potholes. The walls are paper thin. If you want the management staff to handle an issue ...forgot about it. You are on your own.
I've lived at the Dunes for 6 years and love it. The office staff is fantastic and the maintenance team is awesome.
I have only lived with the Dunes for a few months now, but I could not be more satisfied. The staff is wonderful, always very helpful and polite. They offer an outdoor pool, community grills, a fitness center, and thee occasional free donut. There are walking trails, a golf course, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, and a soccer complex all within a two block radius. It doesn't get much better then this, choose The Dunes.
I signed a brand new lease at The Dunes for the second time and have been renewing ever since. It has been a great place to live, a quiet community, well maintained overall a joy to live here!

I have lived here for several months and am very happy with the facility. Great community and a great location. Staff is always responsive and helpful. Overall, it is a great place to live.
I was so excited to move here as the location is great and property seemed well taken care of. That's where it ends. I've only been here 6 months and cannot wait to move out. Office staff is completely rude. Parking is a nightmare. Very typical to come home and there be no spots and have to park on the street. Noise is a big issue as well. For a "luxury" apartment I expect to be able to park in front of my building and not have neighbors blaring music until 3:00 am (which staff does nothing about).
Staff and maintenance is terrible!!!!! I was really thinking about moving into the apartments but I'm not now!!!!
I've lived at The Dunes for three years now and all of the clubhouse staff and maintenance staff have been awesome! They care about the property and the residents. I would only recommend a full repaving of the parking lot and an over haul of the landscaping. There are some shaded areas that are a bit soggy all the time.
The Office Staff are not responsive, and the maintenance service is abysmal - one needs to multiple reminders before the service request is attended to.
