I love the events and free food that happen all the time. And I like my room and things are clean. And I appreciate that it is a quiet place to live.

Living at the Durant has been really good so far. Also working at the Durant has been great and the my boss and coworkers are very nice and I bond with them very quickly.

As others have noted, the service seems to stop when the lease is signed. I also question whether calling the number in the management response helps anything, since I call that number and am also ignored

If i could give them 0 stars I would. This is sadly another high priced place in Berkeley that is all about their tenants at first but once they get your deposit (your $$$) they stop responding. And they blatantly ignore my emails for months with no response. I thought maybe this place would be worth it because its so close to Cal but you're better off renting an apartment in northern Berkeley or anywhere else honestly.

Terrible property management. Total disregard and huge lack of communication to tenants. They stop caring once they have you committed. They are not afraid to change lease agreements over night. Rooms are ridiculously small for how much you are paying. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.
