The Dutton Apartments

Since being here we have not been able to get a parking spot close to our unit and have to continuously walk to the other side of the complex and on top of that got our windshield broken by a pinecone. It seems this has happened before and they do nothing about it and we had to pay $1000 out-of-pocket which kind of sucks. Besides that the people here are great. We are not fond of the people who feed the cats as our dog is very allergic and has been suffering.

Very clean and spacious apartments. The grounds are maintained and clean. Provides area for pets and always friendly smiles. Great and faster customer service. Shout out to management and staff. Thank you

I enjoy the cleanliness of the community and how quiet and serene it can be at times. The front desk and maintenance staff are always prompt and helpful. I would like more modern and up to date appliances and more parking options for guests but other than that I am happy to call it home.

Really nice to live here. Quiet. Clean. Well maintained. But could be a little bit more safer. The staff are great, always ready to help with anything you want. ??

The Dutton is a great property to live in. Their location is great and provides easy access to the freeway. The community is quiet and the other residents friendly. The leasing staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. My favorite part is how quiet the complex is. I really enjoy the peace here.

I like that the complex is safe and gated, and recently the management team has been putting more effort into keeping the property as clean as possible.

I haven’t had any problems. I’ve had typical maintenance issues, but nothing major. My building is quiet. I don’t like the parking space size. They are too close. If someone parks on the line, I can’t get in my car. Also, not enough guest parking spaces or handicap spots. Other than that, the complex is quiet and clean.

My experience from application to move in was pretty smooth and fast. The leasing office staff is really professional and helpful. I love my new apartment, the complex is quiet and the neighbors seem friendly so far. I have been here for a few weeks and I am really happy that I chose the Dutton.

We enjoy living here. It’s a great place I recommend this place definitely, the process of applying and qualifying is very easy and very convenient

Parking very limited and crazy to charge so much for a 2nd spot when you have a 2 bedroom but also office staff rude and garbage around property

Quiet so far. But nice. Dog park needs some attention.new roofs are good.most of the maintenance guys seem knowledgeable. Front off ice staff ok. Garbage in breeze ways seems to be a thing

I would recommend these apartments they are doing a lot of remodeling and everything is coming out nice from the roof to the exterior paint and all the new trees they are planting

It’s been a horrible experience this year. I’ve been renting for the past four year and this year is by far the worst. I’ve had my car stolen due to lack of security on the property. I was told I was getting a renovated apartment and it was not cleaned and has so many issues. My maintenance request are constantly marked complete when there not. I can’t seem to get a response from anyone. Poor communication and lack of responsive

So far so good we have only been here for 24 hrs but seems to be smooth sailing anything I have needed the staff has helped me with and so nice

Love these apartments everyone is so nice and very good community the maintenance is on top of everything and also management is really helpful

Gardens, Common areas, Dog park and other places inside the community are dirty and careless . No security at all and noisy neighbors. Garbage containers always full and stinky. Dog poo everywhere and flys come into the apartment.

Amenities aren’t maintained Parking not good small parking spots. Also for additional parking is $100 which is ridiculous Bad neighbors - dogs constant barking , music playing loud, Dog poop everywhere and dog park not maintained Building has huge mold problems and mildew. Windows are old and broken. Swimming pool isn’t maintained and very dirty. Usually broken or closed. The landscaping isn’t maintained as well, dirty and track marks on sidewalks. Trash in front of people’s doors

I really appreciate all the staff helped I got from the beginning, very friendly and helpful. I have two months living here and I didn't have any issues, when I had problems with my AC they changed the complete AC, thanks for everything.

Very informative and helpful. The community seems nice. The complex is clean and looks very well kept as far as the landscaping. So far so good.

The Dutton is a quiet wooded community located in Hayward, CA. The community is family oriented with multiple play areas and 2 pools/jacuzzis. The management team is responsive and easy to get in touch with. Overall, my experience has been a pleasant one residing in The Dutton.

My experience here so far is good, maintenance reacts pretty quick, everything is clean, my dog also loves the freedom he has and my kids love the new apartment.

The Dutton community is great! I really appreciate the upgrades with the complex. The landscaping is great as well.

After almost half an year living at The Dutton, I’m very satisfied. Diamond was great showing us the apartment, and very helpful with the leasing process. When I needed maintenance, Eric and Luis did a great job, in a timely manner. I love the vinyl floor, the large balcony with storage, the pools and the GYM.

Everything was good till the first 2 days of moving in someone was always parked in my stall and when I entered the apartment I couldn’t help but notice my apartment was not cleaned at all but a quick wipe down floor were dirty as hell

Living at the Dutton apartments has been truly amazing. It’s really calm and quiet. There are a lot of nice people around. The pool and gym is really nice too.

We love it here. Whenever we need something fixed a repair man comes within the next day. Love how it’s a gated community. The park and swimming pools are awesome for the summer.

I love it here! Good pool, nice area, enjoyable to walk around here. Perfect for pets too!Only thing a little annoying is tight parking spots.

Poor communication, maintenance request never completed, broken amenities, packages stolen constantly, apartment has mold and insects everywhere.

I have been here a week so far so good. Still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles. I like that the washer and dryers are in unit.

Have been here for about a week and everything has been great. The area is quiet, pet friendly. The people up in the front office are really helpful. Highly recommend this place

Still love it. Nice. Quiet, dog parks and convenience. Parking is a bit tight at times but hasn’t been much issues with that. Wish valet garbage would come back

We love the place. The in-unit laundry is what we’re after that’s why it made it easy for us to choose The Duttons over other apartments.

I've lived here for since 2013 , things have definitely improved , like the mailbox upgrade. I wish parking was not so expensive, 100 bucks a month is steep on top of the cost to register with the reliant app . I miss the valet trash ppl .. The maintenance take long at times to fix things , and they don't communicate as to why so at times you kinda just feel ignored. You have to stay on the office when you have one open and keep following up. The office has gotten better at answering the phone. The new paint is nice however it was so inconvenient.

Just moved in a week ago, but so far has been a mostly pleasant experience. The community has been fairly quiet and the grounds are nicely maintained with lots of mature trees. The staff has been helpful with questions and the move in process. It feels like maybe some prior management was lacking and caused some of the lower review scores I've seen. At this point things seem managed well and I'm happy with the community.

The Dutton is a nice protected apartment complex very big complex with different types of apartment layouts, management very attentive and help put so much of theirs any issues

The community and management here is awesome!! Pet friendly but owners need to take responsibility and clean up after their pet!!!

The Dutton is a lovely community. There a parks and pools in multiple areas. Theres also a gym. Its nice to walk around.

So far everything has been great with the whole move in process.

I like that this is a gated community and how maintenance crew is very friendly and they assist very well with different tasks. Great residence overall

I love staying here. The trees and surroundings are beautiful. The patio & porch are also spacious. Overall, I love my unit.

Close to work. close to the expressway. close to eating places.

We all my have are ups and downs here at The Dutton here in Hayward but we all come together as a community in times of need . Yes, we have some that get upset and those that just stick around to help . I have been here for many years since 2009 till now 2023. The management that is in office now are really good on getting what we need as before the last management I always had to keep going to the office to let them know things wasn't getting done . I like it because I leave so close to my job and to all the local stores and the mall . Thank You , Carol
