Property Ratings at The Dylan
ROACHES ARE EVERYWHERE! My bathtub was broke within the first 2 days of moving in back in August 2023 it’s now May 2024 and it is still broken…they can’t keep a constant maintenance man so nothing gets fixed. Neighbors are a nightmare constantly slamming doors or banging on the walls, people in the office do nothing. Staff is constantly changing and the new staff is so oblivious to everything going on. They charge you $45 a month just to be able to have WiFi in your apartment! No matter how much you spray or how clean you are roaches are everywhere!!! The staff does not care about the tenants because if they did they would be doing more to fix the issues with the complex. There’s a crazy man that sits at the bottom of the stairs and gets pissed off when someone needs to go up or down, I’ve been spit on by him and he’s threatened to fight my husband he even kicked my dog and called me the b word for making him get up so I could get down the stairs obviously staff did nothing about it when reported because he still sits there to this day. The overall vibe of the apartments is just bad. If it’s not a crackhead knocking on your door it’s your drugged out neighbors fighting and making sure the whole complex can hear them. I personally can’t wait for my lease to be up!! I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to my worst enemy!
I recommend not signing the lease until you look at your exact unit they’re going to move you into you. I was told mine was a “newly renovated apartment” all they did was put fresh paint. There was no light source in the living room, entire unit was infested with roaches. We did not have a door on the room and never received it after putting in several work orders. Tenants are very loud past 1am good luck getting sleep, to add to that the smell of cigarette is very bad around the entire complex. Don’t let the pictures fool you the apartments are very small and we paid extra for the “bigger unit”. The fact that you have to pay for WiFi $45 every month because it’s in your lease is crazy. The tenants are not nice nor welcoming, they make it very uncomfortable to live there. Don’t bother going outside past 10:00 pm because there will be homeless people or crack heads wondering around near the complex. Watch your vehicle because they’ve have had many break ins. Don’t even get me started on the parking lot SO MANY POT HOLES, it’s so uneven that you need to place your parking brake. They over charge you for rent and when you catch the mistake they say it will be credited back to you but never does. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
