The Eagle at Lakewood

I am extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and management of my apartment complex. The trash has not been picked up for the last two weeks and the smell is absolutely unbearable. It seems like nobody cares about the upkeep of this place. On top of that, the office never answers the phone and it's impossible to get a hold of anyone to address these issues. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Furthermore, the common areas are always littered with dog waste because people do not pick up after their pets. It's disgusting and unsanitary. I would not recommend living in this apartment complex until they make significant improvements in cleanliness and management. It's a shame that such a nice property is being neglected in this way.

Horrible management, property does not live up to pictured expectations, and it’s a fight to get anything fixed. The pool has been closed for two months, only to open for a week, to be closed for the season. There’s a trash issue, domestic violence problems, inconsistency in each of the “renovated” units, and subpar investment into the property itself.

The property is under new management and has shown a steep decline. The current management team is virtually unavailable, request go unanswered, and for some reason they can't get their online portal in sync so after paying rent there is always an outstanding balance every month. Don't buy renters insurance, they will bill you for it monthly regardless of having a current policy.

We moved here last year when it was still “Lakewood Greens” and all was fine and dandy until Tides bought it out. Water is always being shut off, the gate never works, the exit gate has been broken for months and it takes forever to get maintenance. If I would have had any clue this was going to be a Tides property I never would have moved here because I have only heard bad things about them. Can’t wait for my lease to be up.

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. Maintenance issues all over the complex, while buildings lose water for hours at a time. I requested to get covered parking and they get to be 2 months later. Pool was filthy and unusable in the middle of summer and they would “resolve” maintenance requests on the online portal but the problem requested would persist. I’m a current resident and ever since Robinson group bought them out, it has been down hill

Ever since The Robinson Group took over ownership in 2021 this place has gotten dramatically worse. They don't care about their renters living situation, well-being, and safety. Construction has been going on for months and they shut the water off at least 5 times a week for hours on end. They did some heavy lacquer paint in the unit next door and the fumes came into our complex causing the place to be temporally unlivable. Us and our 4 month old baby and to stay at a family members until the fumes died down. The gate has been left open since they took over and random people stroll in. On one occasion, a person came in screaming and banging on doors. Their new paint job is terrible and sloppily done. The window shades block out all the natural sunlight in the apartment. They make this nice complex unlivable. I wish I could give zero stars.

This place went under a management change and has GREATLY declined in quality. Where do I even start? Unfinished construction, never answers the phone, the gate is always broken and just stays open. If you want to get a hold of anyone that works here, you have to call at least 7 times, and or maybe get lucky to get through to the corporate office. They painted all of the buildings white and the windows black but did a very cheap job. The paint is not even at all and overlaps the white paint in many parts. It has dripped and just looks very unpleasant and unprofessional. They put extremely dark shades over every window which blocks out 60% of sunlight. They have been doing construction in the apartment next to mine for almost a full month now. It has been loud. One day during the construction, I hear them drilling into the wall. Well, it turns out they drilled right into my own apartment, and there is a huge hole under the sink where I can very clearly hear the workers. This place used to be a great complex but has severely gone downhill since the new management took over. I would not recommend anyone living here anymore. A ton of the tenants have moved out as well, and I am constantly seeing moving trucks of people leaving.

Awful new management. 13 months living here and now the situation is a disaster. A new company has arrived. Since then the gate is broken, losing this extra safety we are paying for. One month ago I moved from an apt to a bigger one here. Still the dryer vent is blocked. They don't answer the service request and if you call them you will find the most unpolite woman saying that is not their fault. Impossible place now.

Management has been great! Very friendly. I have had a few maintenance issues and they have been swift with their responses.

Lakewood Greens is a hidden gem, little quiet community. Close to everything in one of the best areas of Dallas. Management in Lakewood Greens never failed me, Brenda Mora is a skilled manager and maintenance workers made you feel at home fast.

We have lived in the community for many years and always had good experiences with management and maintenance teams.

The management and maintenance crew at Lakewood Greens are the best in the business.

I put in a service request and the office team and maintenance team handled it swiftly and professionally. They are always so nice and got the job done in one setting.

There is friendly staff and they are very helpful walking you through any questions or concerns you may have. However, my apartment though spacious (with lots of storage) was not thoroughly looked and fixed before moving in. The absence of being 100% move-in ready was the biggest disappointment.

I enjoy living here, it a wonderful place to stay and call home, I love the community, the people, and the walking trails in the area. The management and the maintenance is always on top of things when you need them. I like to thank you all for everything!!!! Love the exercise room wish it can be bigger and updated appliances maybe need more t in the kitchen other than that I love living here.

Staff are friendly and helpful. I've lived here for 14 years and hope to stay longer. Conditions and staff are so much better than what I've heard about other places.

Lakewood Greens - Great Location for recreational activities .

I like the community it's nice and quiet, clean and the office team is great. I don't drive and I like that the bus stop is right in front of the community.

Has been a very positive experience here for me. Neighbors have all been nice. I like the mix of older people, younger people, kids, etc.

Its a ok place to live. Nice surroundings and friendly neighbours.

Very nice and peaceful apartment community. I love that the location is tucked away from the main road. There are so many stores and service businesses nearby that make this a very good location as well. I work downtown and the commute is so easy.

Everything has been absolutely amazing! From the moment my fiance and I came to tour Lakewood Greens, even to the ease of the application process. Ruby and Chris have been so kind, professional, and amazing to work with. They answered all of my questions and was so timely with everything. I haven't seen such great guest service as I did with them. Not to mention, the apartment is beautiful. It's quiet and ducked off. This will be my first apartment since moving to Texas and I feel so lucky to have found Lakewood Greens and to call this place my home!

Lakewood Greens makes me smile everyday. From the well landscaped sidewalks to the beautiful pool and gorgeous trees and nice residents. I couldnt ask for more. I love it here at Lakewood Greens!

Lakewood Greens is a hidden jewel. I have lived here several times and have returned for the peaceful location and my Golf Course view! Whether you take a Classic or an Upgrade...just make it home. A few hiccups due to old water pipes on the property are just part of any older community. Be polite to your neighbors and they will be polite to you!

Very quite location. Small complex only 18 buildings. Near a biking trail. Close to shopping and dining, 5 mins from downtown.

Living here is not bad. The parking could be better. There are many many times we have to park 4 buildings over. Silver lining, there is valet trash. And there is a little gym and pool.

I have been living here for almost a year now and I can honestly give these apartments a five star rating. Great/ safe area to live in. The apartments are pet friendly and the staff is great. I love the fact that there is always some sort of activity you can do wether it is white rock, Dallas or even inside the apartments.

Quite and SAFE What a great feeling! Staff always have great events going on thru out the month. Grounds and pool are kept clean. How many apts can boast about having kayaks as well as bikes available .(for the lake, not the pool) :) haha. They are in the process of building a wonderful cabanna w/ a large outdoor cooking area along w/ tv screens. They are pet friendly and have added a dog park. As they continue to make all these wonderful improvements, I have a concern as to how long my 84 y/o mother and I can continue to afford the rates.It's a GREAT, secure complex.

these apartments are supposed beautiful and very high quality. I love them so much.

I have been living here in total for 3 years. Every maintenance request I have had has been resolved with satisfaction in the same week. The complex is a quite apartment and has security monitoring throughout the day. Management has a team called "CARES", this team planes monthly activities for the complex including pizza, catering, pool parties, and movie nights. They have bikes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards that they loan for free to residents. The location is perfect to downtown. I do recommend this apartment.
