Property Ratings at The Edge
Management is ineffective. Wont go out of their way to fix problems and never get back or follow through on anything if you reach out to them. Not worth dealing with them
I have lived at the Edge on Euclid for 2 years while I attended Cleveland State and could not have had a better experience. I've almost never had a need for maintenance and management is always so kind and helpful. The location is ideal for students, as being in such close proximity to campus truly contributed to my success at CSU. Not to mention the free printing and study rooms at The Edge! The resident events were always so fun and created a sense of community for those who live in the building. I would recommend these apartments to any student looking for a great place to call home in downtown Cleveland.
I love my apartment and the staff is great. I want to give a special shout out to Victoria for all your help! I really appreciate it!
I had a few requests so I called up and got Victoria on the phone. She was extremely helpful and informative! Thank you Victoria!
This is my first apartment but I can say so far I’ve been very impressed. From the amenities to the staff(Shout out to Calvin, Sade, Phyllis, our handy man, and managers who keep this place running.) The Edge is an awesome place to live. Great community of people, located near many restaurants of various cultural cuisines. It’s near the Playhouse Square, across from Cleveland State University , and down the road from CWRU. Couldn’t have built in a better location! Loving it here!
I lived here when it first opened. My apartment on the first floor was pretty fine, not too many people lived in that wing so the only noise was from the courtyard. The courtyard can get noisy , but nothing compared to floors 2-11 (You'll never sleep). The electricity was always extremely high like $200 , and my roommates and I barely turned on lights. My biggest concern was the move out cost, they charged me for another tenant's things because she did not fully move-out.
I love living at the edge. All the staff are helpful and friendly and Kyle in maintenance is always available whenever I need assistance and manages to get the job done in timely manner and with a great attitude! The location is also great and there is always something to do.
I signed a lease before The Edge on Euclid was being built, and personally I feel that it has been the biggest mistake I have EVER made. I moved here in July, with three other roommates; nothing was finished besides the apartment itself. From day 1 we have had many problems which include washer/dryer being broken, air conditioning not working, leaks in sink, having no where to park, and so many more. These issues were fixed in a timely manner, but the longer I stayed the worse the problems became. I park in a garage where my parking space is covered, yet somehow my car becomes damaged by dripping paint. Don't you think that if someone was painting the garage they would ask their residents to move their car for the time being? No. Two months later my problem is still not resolved. Both the property manager and the assistant property manager tell me it will be solved, but I have yet to see it. They also claim they cannot give me the property owners contact info to figure what is going on because it seems to me that neither of them know. Besides this, my heat has been turned off on 5 different times due to issues with the building, and takes DAYS for someone to fix. When someone finally decides to fix the heating problem, they don't but instead tell me that I need to program it (which if I knew how, there would be no issue?) Anyways, thankfully after finding someone to take over my lease, I will be moving out on Jan 1st. The staff is nice, but are more interested in finding new residents rather than keeping the ones they have (probably because everyone has issues here). The rent is WAY too much for the problems I have occurred while living here.
