The staff is amazing. Environment is about as safe as it can be for living in Memphis and the complex has a security service which adds to feeling safe. Apartments are older, so they come with older apartment quirks, but they are built solid and quiet.

The front office and maintenance are like family to me. They're very active in community which makes this place feel like a real community. Issues will arise anywhere; it's unavoidable, but the team here has always taken care of my family. I think it's hard to find this in management companies these days.

Property is maintained insanely well. Couldn’t get better. Interior is alright. Could be better, but if there is any problem maintenance couldn’t be happier to help. Great people and even better service. Safety is a problem. Make sure to use a steering wheel lock on your car here.

Chose the Edge of Germantown without physically checking out the community, but I was pleasantly surprised when I moved in! Quiet and safe neighborhood. Shelby has been super helpful in the move in and with any questions or help needed! The super is on top of helping fix small issues we had. Overall loving our stay here. Enjoy taking a walk around the community, or relaxing in the balcony in the evenings. The houses itself are spacious, and cozy. Germantown is great, Kroger and Trader Joe’s along with all shopping complexes nearby, this is an excellent apartment.

The Edge of Germantown has been my home for the last 3 years, and I would recommend it to anyone! The location is great, I feel safe in my area and its convenient to retail and restaurants. The maintenance and staff are always on top of it and so friendly! The amenities are well kept. I’ve not had any issues with neighbors or noise. Overall, it’s been a great experience and I plan to keep on living here as it seems fit.

Apartment should have white ceiling lights in living areas and specially bed room. Here its just all lamps which are dim pale yellow, they are harsh on eyes. Else everything is good.

Overpriced with Rude Management
Let me start by saying that the location is great. That is the main reason why I chose these apartments. The buildings are VERY old with HORRIBLE insulation. I have mold that grows on my windows from the condensation and my most recent utility bill was nearly $200 for a one bedroom. The bathroom is too small to turn around in with the sink in the bedroom. It is VERY overpriced for what you get in my opinion but I needed a place last minute. There are also vehicle break ins FREQUENTLY so be aware. Management has done nothing to address it and does their best to keep other residents from knowing when there has been an incident. You are also not allowed to smoke in your overpriced apartment and they will send you threatening messages if you do so smokers beware. I will not be renewing once my lease has expired.

SMALL, OVERPRICED AND YOUR CAR WILL GET BROKEN INTO!
SMALL AND OVERPRICED! My car has been broken into twice in one month. When reported to the office, nothing was communicated and they said that no one else had that problem, but my neighbors cars was broken into as well (AT LEAST 20 CARS). The office manager is rude. I have mold in my bathroom and a really bad ant and gnat infestation. The maintenance crew is prompt and great though!

Two stars: 1 for safety and 1 for the exterior. However over living here, I've experienced: - Ant infestation in the walls - Thin walls - You will hear your neighbor *urinating* - Mold - Management becoming irate stating "what do you want me to do about it??" when I complained about a chemical smell seeping into my apartment from the adjacent apartment. - Construction happening before 8:00 AM more than once - Flooded unit due to 13 year old water tank malfunctioning. Refused to put new carpeting in, however the unit above mine was recarpeted.

Your car is not safe here
I've lived here for 3 years and have had 3 major break ins of my vehicle all 3 times, it was multiple vehicles attacked and nothing done from the property to makes things safer

I recently visited and the staff was very welcoming. I am relocating from Atlanta and don't know a soul. The leasing gal was friendly and made the application process so easy.

This Place Is FIVE STARS
I have a one bedroom and live on the top floor. I have a great view and use the fitness center often. It is a update place and in a good locations. Moved here from Atlanta and made a good choice.

Just Renewed My Lease Again
I didn't know much about the area when I moved here from Atlanta. So glad I found this place. Did everything right on their website before even seeing the place. Great area and close to everything I need. Newly updated apartment and amenities too.
