Property Ratings at The Edwin
These apts need to be shut down infested with mice and roaches no heat no hot water this place should be ashamed of themselves horrible managment
So I lived there previously this year and was there for when the current property managers took over and ever-so-kindly started giving tenants 30 day notices to vacate. Management said it's because they weren't renewing leases and some people didnt even get an actual 30 days (my upstairs neighbor got less than two weeks). They weren't fixing problems in hopes that you left sooner than your lease stated and weren't communicating anything well. And these newly renovated interior pictures aren't even of this complex. No unit that they've renovated has those double/wider windows like in the bedroom picture. You can see that from a drive through of the property.
I moved here in 2019 and I don’t plan on going anywhere no time soon. Ashley and Cara are very sweet, funny, and understanding. The view from the back balconies are nice. Only thing I don’t like but can tolerate is the parking spaces. Some neighbors don’t tell their overnight guest to park in the visitor parking lot but overall neighbors aren’t too bad. I also love how the area is laid back and located near shopping centers, grocery stores, and restaurants.. don’t have to drive to far.

I want to thank you for your kind words, we strive to give everyone a happy home
Are you guys never going to get ride of the COCKROACHES there HUGE nasty carpets way over priced for what you get nothings new old appliances terrible maintenance and the way they fix things like I said nothings new I almost forgot there bathrooms ?? mold black in the walls make sure you look at the tub too how they try and repair them is soo nasty you can tell they just rigged it instead of actually fixing things who wants to spend money on used things you should waste your money
This is the worst place ever. They dont fix anything or if they do it is not right. The first apartment I lived in had mold everywhere. I had to transfer because I was pregnant with twins. The new apartment smelled of mildew in the front bathroom. When I called they said that the whole bathroom needed to be replaced but it never was. The pool was never opened due to not having a life guard. It was awful living there. I would not recommend it to anyone
Very nice spacious apartments that are also very peaceful to live in. I have lived here for a little over 2 years now and have been extremely satisfied. There are friendly neighbors, along with professional and friendly staff. Grounds and parking lots are kept clean, and any maintenance issues I've had have been resolved immediately. I highly recommend these apartments.
The summit apartments are the worse. Now at first everything seemed legit and fine. I moved in nov. 2015. After i say about 2 months I start noticing things. There are oversized cock roaches ( which they call "water bugs") randomly showing up in all parts of the apartment. No cabinet or storage place. There was mold and mildew throughout the apartment. I found two snakes in my apartment. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and there was a baby snake in the doorway of my bedroom. Another hidden in my closet. Also had a mouse in my bathroom. Water and electricity would be turned off for at the least 12 hours at least once or twice a month. "Utility room" barely fits a standard washer and dryer. And it's located in your bedroom and the door doesn't close all the way so good luck trying to sleep/ nap or study while washing. Walls are paper thin. I always heard full conversations of my neighbors and I'm pretty sure vice versa. Spiders everywhere. If u live on the bottom floor people randomly walked on ur patio and looked inside your apartment if you had your shades open. Kids would play outside your patio and knock and run. Kids also playing in the parking lock at all times of day and night. Good luck keeping descent tires on your car pot holes for days especially driving up and down the hill to come and go. I'm fairly clean person the most would be clothes on the floor in my bedroom. Idon't leave food out or trash for long periods of times so th ere shouldn't be this large amount of bugs in my apartment. There are other bugs than the cockroaches I mean a variety of different bugs and insects. I've tried to voice my concerns to management but she is mean, sobbing and rude. Now don't get me wrong she doesn't ignore my requests but it is not getting done properly. For the bug problem there's a guy would come in I think once every 2-4 months and put down this brown gel that you could visibly see in only two spots in the entire two bedroom apartment. It was above the stove and under the sink in the bathrom. I asked if he could do at the door and window seals and also under the kitchen sink and he said they didn't do that or that I have to make a separate request! I tried to get out of my lease before the year mark because the mold and mildew was getting bad. I had to throw away furniture because of it. They said I had to pay $1500 to end my lease and forfeit my deposit of $450. It's the worse place I've ever lived at. Steer away
this apartment complex is very clean and friendly. very spacious and rent rate is reasonable. it quiet here i like it alot. i would defiently reccomend these to anyone. The property managers are also really nice... they swimming pool here is clean and has a onsite life guard as well. if you have children in school there are some school bus stops that are here on the complex lot, wich i think is amazing considering the location
