Property Ratings at The Elizabeth
First, I will say that the current property manager is kind and attentive to any issues that arise (and there will be issues). I have no issues with the property manager and she's been super kind and responsive. I have never written a review (good or bad) for any business or service - it's just not my thing. However, I have had roaches in my unit for almost two years and management will NOT take the proper precautions to resolve this issue - they only put a temporary band-aid on the issue by having a pest guy come to the property monthly. Other units have roaches too (renters have explicitly said this), and management is only willing to spot treat the issue until the pests come back, and they always do (for two years now). The pest issue is the only issue that would prompt me to write a review like this, but if management isn't willing to get to the root cause of this issue after two years, others should be warned. Aside from pests, the location is perfect. My unit was upgraded before I moved in and it's nice. Rent is affordable for what you're getting, and I'd want to continue living here if the pests weren't an issue.
I've lived here for six years and it really is a great place to live. The property manager Valerie is kind, personal and follows up to be sure any issues are addressed quickly. It's close to lots of things, walkable to stores and it's a nice little community.
This apartment is at such an amazing location. There's a Trader Joe's that's a quick walk through the park and a TON of restaurants in the surrounding area. Additionally, the other tenants of the building are very friendly and Valerie, the property manager responds to tenant's needs really quickly. Super lovely building and people!
I absolutely love living here. I moved in 2 weeks before the pandemic started, and couldn’t be happier with the location. While centrally located to everything, the area itself is extremely walkable and quiet, and right next to Plummer Park. The balcony is spacious and pool area is very relaxing. Valerie the building manager is incredible and responds immediately to any tenant needs. I don’t plan on leaving any time soon.
Very central, quiet and well kept. Amazing view. I've been here for five years and if I weren't moving I wouldn't be leaving now.
Property Manager at The Elizabeth, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much, it has been a pleasure to have you and I wish you the best on your future!
I had spoken to Valerie a few weeks before seeing the apartment and I have asked if was furniture and she said yes but that is not the truth. Also she made me fillet out a application online and I paid 30 dollars for it. She said that she had others people filling out application to be able to for the apt. You don’t make someone filled a application and charge for it without showing the apartment. Valerie you are a fraud, I will report you. 0 ??
Property Manager at The Elizabeth, Responded To This Review
Dear applicant, I suggested you fill out an application because you asked me what can you do to be ahead of everyone touring. Since someone else had applied, I suggested you do so as well so you had a fair chance at the unit. I did inform you of the fee before you completed the application, and that you wouldn't be able to view it yet as it was still occupied and you went ahead and applied. I'm sorry if you feel like I made you do that. I will be glad to refund you the money if you feel that way. There might have been a misunderstanding with the furnished as I told you the price and you mentioned it was out of your range so I showed you the 1bd that was. It is never my intention to make anyone feel forced.I apologize if there was miscommunication on my part.
I would not recommend living here. It used to be a good place to live under the former owners. Now that it has new ownership residents are nickel and dimed to death for every little thing. They only care about making profit, not the residents
Property Manager at The Elizabeth, Responded To This Review
Hello, I apologize that you feel this way about the previous management company. The building is under new management and have not had any complaints lodged against us such as this. I assure you we do care about our residents very much! Please email the manager and let her know your concerns so she can assist in any way possible. Thank you!
