I recently moved here and I really like my apartment and the rental office staff is very helpful and nice!! However, I can hear my neighbors upstairs constantly walking but it sounds like they are stomping (which is not their fault it’s the quality of the buildings) the ceiling squeaks I can tell exactly where they are walking and if they accidentally drop something the “thud” is amplified!!! For the rent it costs to live here, it would seem that the building would have been noise barriers!! I have done very minor maintenance issues that were addressed quickly however the problem was not fixed properly the first time so it had to be addressed again !! I was so looking forward to moving here and as much as I love my actual apartment I am a little disappointed maybe my expectations were too high!!

I have lived at the Elms at Odenton since the fall. I loved my apartment at first, but now I'm counting down the months until my lease is up and I can move. The positive: spacious apartments, friendly staff. The negative: soon after I moved in, it seems as if an elephant leased the apartment above me. I have never heard a human being stomp around this hard before. My dishes rattle, my pictures hanging on the wall shake. I get woken up out of my sleep every morning from the heavy walking, I've even resorted to sleeping with ear plugs in and they still don't drown out the elephant's stomping. It also owns the loudest television/sound system known to man, so that's a fantastic addition to the ambience in my home as well. So there's either an elephant living above me or the apartments are cheaply made and paper-thin. Another negative: the neighbors in my building are disgusting. It's normal for me to come home and find copious amounts of trash in the breezeways and on the steps, everything from pieces of raw chicken to what looked like an industrial sized bag of jellybeans spilled and strewn across the steps. We pay for valet trash service, and there has been several days that the trash service did not come pick up and there were bags and bags of trash stacked outside of tenants doors for over 24 hours. An empty gift bag at Christmas time was left out up under the fire extinguisher in the hallway and it sat there for 2 weeks. Between the unbearable noise from upstairs and the filth which is sure to breed roaches in the warmer months, I wish I could break my lease now and leave. I despise moving, but I refuse to pay this much money for rent and be this uncomfortable in my home

Are you looking for a very quiet apartment with genuine down to earth management, the team of Brittany and Jackie, convenient to shopping and the MARC train, not a dump, the pictures in its advertising and on its website are legitimate, then you need to check this place out. Well maintained, respectful neighbors, friendly, no dog mess everywhere, car wash and vacuum cleaner available, great workout room open 24 hours, not crowded, look no further. I looked for a decent apartment for six Saturdays in a row, all I came up with is overpriced apartments with phony leasing agents, you know the type "you will love it here" types just looking to slam you into an apartment. Not here, no pushy people, Jackie showed me around, answered my questions and didn't harass me with phone calls! Check this place out first, no need to go anywhere else

Just moved in Spring 2017!! I really do like my apartment community. It is close to Restaurants, shops/malls, grocery stores, highway access, and MARC train. Leasing/Service personnel have been extremely knowledgeable and very helpful from signing of lease to move in. I live in a one bedroom/one bath ground floor level solarium apartment and the interior amenities are fantastic. The layout is perfect for my needs especially the solarium area acting as a small den for my office. The apartment community is quiet and neighbors are considerate and cordial. Mostly professional working adults who care about the community and their families.

Brand new to Maryland and have been searching high and low for a place that feels like home, and we couldn't be any happier with our choice at the 615! If you like great people making sure your apartment experience is done with customer first in mind then this is it. We have had nothing but top notch service from the staff here. They make us feel like family. And it's location is critical to get in and out of all points such as Washington, Baltimore, ocean city, Virginia. I currently live in a two bedroom apartment now, but I first rented a one bedroom; I am now starting my third lease. The apartment layout is prefect with very good space. The kitchen is equipped with granite and nice appliances. One special feature that I really like is the screened-in patios which is rarely seen in apartments. The administrative Staff and the maintenance staff have been very responsive when called on. It’s really appreciated when the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional when taking care of issues. I would recommend “The 615 at Odenton Gateway” to my friends, in fact I did and they love they it here.

I am new to the area and relocated for work, the staff is friendly and very helpful. I was able to complete the entire process on line and also do a 3d virtual tour here on apartments.com. The process was easy and I can pay my rent online.
I love leaving over here. It has great community and services.The common areas are well maintained and staff incredibly helpful.Unlike other apartments in this area, it has a large courtyard with a pool, lounge chairs and dining tables.
My family and I currently live in a two bedroom. The apartment layout works well with plenty of usable space. The kitchen is a bit on the small side but is well equipped with granite and nice appliances. Staff service is phenomenal which includes trash pickup every evening. Residents place their trash can outside of the door and the trash crew will come pickup your trash for you. I have never seen such service outside of a resort. The staff is friendly and helpful, issues are taken care of in a timely manner. The biggest issue with this apartment complex is the sound deadening and the issue with kids from other neighborhoods coming into the community and utilizing the facilities. If they could gate the community to keep outsiders from utilizing the facilities and trashing the neighborhood, this would be the best place in the area to live. Fixing the sound deadening would greatly improve the apartments appeal. Another issue with this community is multiple families are living in 1 apartment, which effects the parking of residents. You will often find two families living in 1 apartment which is only supposed to have 1 family. Overall, this apartment complex is good for the money but could use some improvement.
