Property Ratings at The Elysian Apartment Homes
The management is always new. There is a rat infestation. Crime is high and all the police will tell you is that you are in a high crime area. Washer machine always broken and never gets looked at or fixed. The hall always stink like something is dead somewhere. There are no key features other than being close to downtown. Junkies right around the corner. The rooftop has been closed since Covid. The streets flood to the point of you being stuck whenever it rains hard. Roads will have you getting new tires. Always have inspections but fix nothing. I would not advise anyone to live here!
Management is Rude and not helpful. Washing machine and microwave are broken. If you need something fixed don’t hold your breath waiting for them to respond. The halls are nasty and people smoke in the stairwells. No lights in parking lot at night. Sketchy. Stay away.
Current management and front desk agent, George, always act like you are bothering them when asking a question or filing maintenance ticket. They cut you off, rush you, and sigh audibly in your ear as though you are not a paying customer at the end of the day. Their Covid response has been callous and deplorable. They lie about maintenance tickets. They lie about everything. When you file a complaint on your neighbor they shrug it off and insinuate there is nothing they can do to help. I've never before seen this level of selfishness and poor management.
The Elysian Apartments gives you a wonderful view of our State Capitol during the day or night. Also, we're only a few minutes from downtown whether you decide to drive or take a peaceful walk. Our community is gated and the residential entrances can only be accessed with a residential key card. Within the courtyard is a playground, well-kept lawn, and a lounge area to relax or use the barbecue grills on any occasion. The staff greets you by name, and makes you feel more than welcomed. Overall, within our community you get a view of the city, and a feeling of comfort within your own home.
