The Emery

The Emery is a new and well kept apartment complex conveniently located near several points of interest. The staff is polite, professional, and attentive. There is a diverse community, and if you are a dog lover, you will find many furry friends. As a city-based multi-story complex, there are pros and cons. The Emery offers amenities that will appeal to active and social tenants. However, this is a modern structure designed in ways that may not suit all tastes - aesthetic or practical. A recurring low-frequency hum (not trains - building AC?) makes it difficult to sleep. There is a no smoking or vaping policy in place for the premises, but seems unenforceable in private units. Even the lease agrees that "[making] the designated areas smoke-free depend[s] on voluntary compliance." The fumes from vaping invade our home nightly and will be the reason we may not renew. Overall, however, we've had a generally positive experience. The Emery is worth a tour and a stay if it suits you.

The Emery has been everything we hoped it would be! It is clean, full of amenities, and it is located in a great area. We love being able to walk the neighborhood or crossing the bridge to Bay Street

Very nice apartment with great amenities. Pool clubhouse bowling alley! I really like the neighborhood and the staff. Dog friendly with a dog park. Easy walk over the bridge to Bay Street.

The apartment community is gorgeous with lots to do and lots to walk to. Commuter heaven. It’s in a busy area but it’s quiet and people are very friendly. If you have a dog there is a park close by where everyone get together and hangs

Nice and clean apartment. Friendly neighbors. The entire neighborhood is safe, has family entertainment and is close to shopping. I feel proud whenever friends visit us.

This is a good place. is this apartment can give more discount to old residents for next year lease, it will be great. I hope it will be more flexible for the renew policy.

I have a good experience at Emery. The amenity helps me a lot. When I have any problems with my furniture or devices, they will quickly help me.

Very well designed, built and managed community. Maintenance staff are superb- timely, clean and efficient minor repairs. Housekeeping staff superb. Everything cleaned daily including gym which really impressed my trainer. Management is solid, fair and bring great governance to the Community. This is MY COMMUNITY. So many friends here.

I like this community. Really new community and the layout is good. The clubhouse, gym, study rooms are good structured. People can walk to the Bay Street for shopping, there are IKEA, shake shacks, apple stores, Mumu hotpot. And Trader Joe’s, CFA, target are nearby. Just one thing that the parking slots are limited but there are actually more slots in other buildings just don’t offer to us. It’s a general convenient, friendly, and beautiful place to live.

it's a nice and beautiful place. There is a park downstairs. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the supermarket and movie theater business district. It is really convinient.

Been quiet living here has most amenities. Just wish issues were addressed a bit sooner. On my 2nd year living here and I love having the new park nearby.

So far I am happy with the maintenance I have requested. staffs are very nice and friendly. Area is beautiful and the building is clean and nice.

2 out of 5 due to the fact that this place is poorly engineered (no ventilation in the 1st floor hall way and apartments, too many thing are crooked it I’ve noticed, the mail room is in the opposite side of the call box, the street is always being blocked by uber and DoorDash drivers looking for their customers,and shared parking with public parking); was not move in ready (apartment was not clean before moving in, rags in the washer when I moved in and some appliances not working); had to call maintenance to replace a laundry washer and a patio that broke off; and this place is hella ratchet, smelling like weed, people opening your mail, and people parking wherever they want to even if it’s no parking and blocking exits and entryways. Only redeeming factor is that the maintenance team is quick and responsive and the gym is top-tier.

Excited to be here my girls and I are enjoying our new community! Everyone has been very welcoming!! Looking forward to the harvest festival this weekend!

It’s an amazing place and I’m so close to everything like groceries, food, my commute to work and the view from the rooftop when relaxing catching a sunset!!

The apartment is clean and the amenities are great. We love the apartment so far. We haven't checked out the events the apartment holds, but there are lots of events available for the residents!

It’s a beautiful neighborhood, with great amenities and locally accessible to many things. Close to Target, Public Market, Bay Street and other stores. The building is also close to plenty of public transportation options for getting around the Bay Area.

It would be perfect if it didn’t smell like w33d in the hallways, elevators, and sometimes the vents coming through our unit. Like, do the other tenants know that kids live here? Other than that, it’s great. I love how often the sidewalks get cleaned. Hate that we have irresponsible dog owners, though.

The amenities are amazing, and the community members are so friendly! I especially like the weekly community events that the leasing office holds for residents

Many great features with some poor execution and consistent maintenance needed. I wish all the really nice features were kept up to the way they were when we first moved in.

The Apt is good, and the maintenance team is really great. They always come very quickly to solve my problems. the customer service call is not available, and I haven’t find a good number to contact to them .

Move in was super simple. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are maintained excellently and all of the amenities are a definite plus.

My move-in experience was seamless. The community is beautiful, and everyone is very nice and welcoming. I had issues with the EV charging, but was able to remedy the situation within a week. My unit is beautiful, minor construction issues, but meets my expectations.

The team is exceptional. everyone works to make residents happy. The maintenance team is very attentive, they respond quickly, timely and efficiently.

This is a good apartment, and have a lot of community events. The floor doesn't feel stable enough, and sometimes you can hear sounds from upstairs.

We really enjoy our apartment and the amenities of the residence are a big plus. The entire leasing team is very helpful and nice. The playground downstairs is very cool to have . The bridge that takes you to the Bay Street is 10 min walk

Sherri, Prevail, and the other staff at the leasing office really helped a lot with the move-in setup. They are very responsive to calls and emails, which made the whole process much smoother. The team was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to address my concerns and questions.

I like my apartment Some of the building amenities are more for show than actually valuable, ie the bowling alley. Some of the public spaces like the pool can be overtaken by non residents.

The Emery surpassed my expectations for apartment communities. Most apartment communities are very pricey with way less amenities and it feels safe here. The Emery is a hidden gem. The leasing process was very streamlined and the leasing manager, Dartise, was phenomenal. Everything was smooth from touring to getting moved in. I recommend anyone looking for a great community and priced affordably to check out here.

Quick to respond to maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved promptly. Exceptional manager (Dartise) who goes above and beyond for residents. Communicates effectively and transparently, keeping residents informed about property updates and improvements. Approachable and always willing to listen to and address concerns.

Pros: Great location, secure parking, modern amenities, pet-friendly community and great staff (especially Dartise). Cons: Occasional delivery misplaced and train noise if your unit is next to the tracks. The community is quite big (4 buildings) so deliveries can sometimes end up in the wrong building but the staff is very helpful in finding the package. Even though our unit is next to the train tracks, we're still able to sleep with our windows open with no issues.

I would definitely recommend, thanks to The Emery I have a new place to call home! Dartise, is very personable and professional. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The Emery is such a nice and comfortable space. You can never really get bored here. I love how accessible the amenities are and that resident events happen frequently. Sherri is such an awesome and generous person to tour with!! I highly recommend taking a tour with her.
