The Emory - Altoona

We love it here. The staff is very friendly. Anytime we have had repair issues they are always on it. We appreciate that. We cannot wait until it warms up outside to enjoy the pool and fire pit.

Front staff is always courteous and helpful. Maintenance is always super fast. The apartment is cozy. I Love the appliances. Excited for my kids to enjoy the pool this summer

I highly enjoy The Emory, my partner and I enjoy having a safe, fun, and secure apartment building. We enjoy the amenities such as tanning and dog grooming areas.

Staff is very friendly. Quick about salting sidewalks in the winter! Really enjoy the hot coco in the clubhouse. Our dogs love playing in the dog park!

This is a location easy to.get just about anywhere nice close by shopping, friendly community, comfortable living , fun activities in the club house.

The apartment units are modern, with quality appliances and spacious layouts. Noise levels vary depending on neighbors, but parking is sufficient, and landscaping is well-kept. Improvements could be made in soundproofing, quicker resolution of community-wide concerns, and consistent upkeep of shared spaces. Despite minor areas for enhancement, this is a well-managed and comfortable place to live, offering a good balance of convenience and service.

Good improvement with snow and ice removal! The carpets are well maintained. Very impressed with the response from the maintenance team. The office, clubhouse, and exercise room have a fresh inviting appeal.

The maintenance is very fast to respond and create a ticket. Our building is spacious. I absolutely love the bathrooms with the mini walk in closets. The pantry is to die for! As well as the laundry room! Management is very nice too, and I love how there’s activities that management creates, to make a bond for the community!

I just moved in earlier this month and the staff has been extremely flexible and helpful. If things stay this way, I’ll likely be here for a while!

I genuinely love it here! The apartments are very updated and nice and the staff is amazing! The community is also very active with plenty of events going on all year for the whole complex. Definitely recommend living here.

Really love this place. Everything is so nice. Moving in was hardly a chore with the elevators. I only live in one of many buildings, but it's very quiet. Coffee bar is the coolest thing I have seen. I just wish people who live here would be nicer to the garbage and recycle area. They treat it like trash, no pun intended.

This place has changed so much this year with new management . It has gotten so expensive now making us pay for water and trash and charged for insurance although I already had renters insurance was a hassle to get it removed . They couldn’t find the old documents from when I first moved in so had to fill out again about my pet accusing me of not saying I had a pet previous because they couldn’t find the paperwork ! I love the apartments I just wish the prices would stop going up every year it’s already expensive enough !

The staff is very attentive and helpful. Very clean and very well upkept property. Very dog/pet friendly environment. I would recommend. Also, very great location.

Apartment was pretty dirty when we moved in even after a “professional cleaning” which allowed us to not get to see the actual unit before moving in. The noise transmission through every wall is very poor resulting in hearing lots of noise from neighbors. Overall, the quality of the apartment is modern and has a lot of amenities in unit.

I've lived here for 15 Months and I've been VERY SATISFIED with Management when it comes to fix things, providing opportunities like bringing in food trucks or hosting events, ensuring a safe and clean neighborhood.

So far so good, maintenance responds very quickly. Very organised apartment complex regarding apartment buildings, outside environment, and clubhouse for residence! Move in process was very easy.

Clean and very friendly staff every question I have the answer quickly, and they help explain things that I may not understand and I love living here

Love the apartments but living in first building on site there isn't much close parking which is a downfall. Other than that the apartments are nice.

Wonderful place to live. Ownership, management, and maintenance are all wonderful people who genuinely care. The amenities are unmatched. The community is very pet friendly. The apartment is very nice and the shared areas are all very nice and clean. This is definitely the place to be.

I give The Emory apartments and the whole support team my strongest recommendation. The common areas are kept clean and maintained. Maintenance requests are resolved promptly. They work tirelessly to keep the recycling and trash areas picked up, and that is no easy task. I appreciate the free air for my tires, the community room, and the pet wash. The exercise room and pool area area are spotless. If you're looking for a true community in Altoona, this is the place.

I am LOVING my new home. Staff are all wonderful! They respond to all my inquiries and never leave you guessing. Great place to live! I recommend checking out this complex for your next move!

Great! However I dont like to see the big spot of stain on stairways it makes me puked. It would be nice if the management conduct an inspections in the building

loving it here so far, no complaints. love the scenery and the location, the ambient sound of the cars passing by specially during rainy season is the cherry on top

my stay at the emory have been the best thing. Everyone is very friendly and the neighborhood is very clean. It's save environment to live and I will highly Recommend to anyone who is looking, the management is very good. They are willing to help you with anything and yeah, and also looking up to renew my lease.

I just moved in at the end of October and I love it! The apartments are super nice and the overall community is great. There is always a great environment at the club house which also has so many great amenities! Love love LOVE!

my partner enjoy our apartment, it is spacious and updated. we love the amenities the emory offers! we have two dogs and so having a dog park (with new turf installed) and a dog washing station is a game changer! we also enjoy the pool, tanning bed, and gym free of use to us. overall great experience :)

Everything is well maintained, someone is always available to help. The amenities and events have been one of my favorite features. The spacious apartment with the large washer and dryer in unit has been amazing

Happy that parking issues have been addressed. Hoping we get through the snow season. Someone in our building ( contractors ) spilled what appeared to be moist plaster in the hall and stairway. It stuck to what is a clean carpet. Suggest just replacing certain carpet squares rather than trying to extract.

Clean place to live. Amazing staff. Super fun events put on by management with fun things for people of ALL ages. Simply a wonderful place to be.

living here is definitely community friendly. the amenities are very nice and everyone seems to love pets. i think in any apartment complex there are going to be loud neighbors so i don’t hold that against the emory. all in all it’s a solid spot to be

Thin walls and close to interstates but otherwise everything is great! High ceilings, hardwood floors, full sized stacked washer/dryer in unit, and more!

I love it here. The staff is very accommodating and most of them are very helpful and friendly. I don't really have anything negative to say about this place. They're very nice apartments with everything you'd need.

Issues with communication with staff, constant entering apt for building inspections/repairs, not sound proof, hear dogs constantly. Unit itself is nice. Location is good

haven’t even been living here a full month but it’s been amazing so far! we are near everything, the amenities are fantastic, and the people are super helpful:) we also have a dog who has acclimated to apartment living very well! he enjoys all the space we have in our 1 bdrm apt as well as the dog park!

I'm 10 months in and haven't had much to worry about. I have great neighbors. The property is well maintained. Great place to bring friends over. Only wish there was more than 1 dumpster

Great staff and maintenance is really on top of it. Very clean place to live and my kids love it. Not to many problems living here! And the elevator makes things so much more easy!

I have enjoyed living at the Emory already and have only been there less then a week.. Very clean, very nice and polite people. Very quiet and always helpful if you have questions!

The new staff has been friendly and accommodating, very approachable and easy to talk with. I would like to see them enforce the trash area better. It’s a nice place to live and I don’t like to see my neighbors leaving trash everywhere.

Just signed my lease for 3rd year in a row, I have loved my time here! The gym is never to busy to use. The pool is really nice, and always clean! also l ove to use the fire pit at night too, very peaceful!
