Property Ratings at The Enclave at 1550
- Building has been infested with roaches for years, management has been negligent about the issue but have gotten desperate and are now effectively charging residents for the cleanup. - The building is old and comes with many inconveniences that you don't have to deal with on newer properties. -- Built-in appliances are likely to be super old. -- The kitchen sink/dishwasher flood each other when the other is in use. -- If you're over 5'8 then you're taller than the shower-head placement. -- 1/2 Elevators are down much of the time.

Hi, there. Thank you for your feedback. Due to the alarming nature of your claims, we feel it would be best if we spoke with you directly. Please give us a call at (210) 361-4247 when you can and we hope to clear up any misunderstandings.
Why are there no recent reviews? Since the new owners have taken over, this is a horrible place to live. They talk to us like we work for them, or worse, they own us. Asked when the pool would be reopenned and they said, "Go in there and you'll be evicted." What kind of answer is that. Pool sucks anyway, always dirty and usually closed for repairs. Room for about five people in it. Just a horrible place to live now. We have been here 12 years. It was great before this management company took over. You should see our kitchen ceiling. Black mold from leak from floor above us. I asked the maintanence man to check and see if there was a leak on the floor above us, and he smiled at me and said, "Sir, there is no floor above you. We don't have a 13th floor." Seriously. I told the maintenance manager how to fix the leak and he said, "We would have to shut off the water to do that. We can't shut off water to everyone else just to fix your problem."

While we appreciate all of the feedback we receive, we are very disheartened by what you have mentioned and your negative characterization of our staff. We take pride in our community and what we are able to offer our residents. We ask that you reach out to a team member if you wish to discuss any of this further. Thank you.
For me, one of the biggest reason for leasing this apartment was the friendly staff. Over the past two years, this apartment has undergone a change in ownership and management, which is in the process of putting in dark gray colors to the common areas and raising the rent prices by 2-300 dollars for each of the units. They do not have plans to add additional amenities for the residents. The friendly resident manager who knew each of the residents and their children, who cared to smile and work to make your life easier is gone. They've replaced her with a cheaper, lanky dude with a smug disrespect to people who've already signed their lease previously. It doesn't take much to realize that for this guy, we're just numbers on a spreadsheet. The security system that once seemed impenetrable has proven not to be so. There has been a series of robberies of various units in recent months in this seemingly secure high rise, which has put everyone at unease. No new security protocols seem to be in place at the time of this writing. There is no noise of neighbors, but the potent, pungent smell of marijuana from neighboring residents will easily seep into your living space and bedroom. The only semblance of the once great apartment this place once was, is Nick, the head of maintenance whose smile gets a little smaller each time I meet him, doubtlessly from pressures from the new owners to cut all the little costs of each resident while maximizing profit for their new investment. The five star rating that I once gave to this apartment is no longer relevant. There is very little chance that the owner of this apartment would change its attitude of this property, except for perhaps the slowly creeping vacancy rate as each resident would doubtlessly be disgusted with the changed nature of this enclosure and leave. Please do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
The worst high rise to live in. You will fear for your valuables and yourself DAILY. Safety, is not important, nor are repairs. Like the last guys said, it takes MONTHS! Do not believe the hype about the concierge. They should be sued for putting in false claims like that. There are much newer and similar priced places around the area that make dealing with this bull feel like you were duped into a lease. I've done a few dumb things in my life, and moving here was the dumbest. So happy its almost over!! Just hit the back button and forget you even viewed this place!!
Mission Rock Management is a third rate scam of a management company. If you submit for repairs you better pray they have a contract with a contractor to do the work. I had to wait 3 months to get repairs done that ended up damaging personal items. Mission Rock offered no help and basically told me to deal with it. Gated Access- Entry vehicle gate doesn't work two-thirds of the time... It is a free open access to your vehicle and if something happens you will get no help from Mission Rock. Concierge- I have lived in the building a year and have never seen, heard, or interacted with a Concierge... I think this is a big lie! Controlled Access- While the entry to the building is key fobbed access, entry into the property has not control. Exit doors leading to vehicles are always wide open from exterior. Security cameras that are spread out around the building don't work.
This high rise apartment living is amazing. My view is wonderful, located in the center of town, my favorite place to live so far. The apartments are well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, luxurious and private amenities. I have lived in apartments for a long tim and I'll never leave here! My pets love it too!
I have been here for almost 6 months & I love it. The location is perfect with Highway access to anywhere & downtown access in 5-10 min. The views are great regardless of where your apartment is because of the location of the building. Amenities like the Club room, 24 hour fitness center & free coffee make you feel like you're in a hotel. Each floor is it's own lil neighborhood & you can quickly find friends. Very safe & secure & quiet. Management is kind & responsive. So far so happy!
I moved in two weeks ago and the entire process, from looking to leasing and then moving was flawless! The property staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or professional.
