Located about seven miles north of Downtown Seattle, Maple Leaf balance a small-town feel with the perks of city living. Named after an old mill and the neighborhood’s abundance of maple trees, Maple Leaf is known for its strong sense of community. “Welcome to Maple Leaf” stickers adorned on poles and “Maple Leaf 4 Life” bumper stickers exhibit this unique area’s neighborhood pride. Along with special events, residents bond at locally-owned businesses on Roosevelt Way and Lake City Way, Maple Leaf’s two main streets. Along these thoroughfare’s you’ll find community coffee shops, vibrant bars, and diverse eateries serving up everything from pizza to pink guava cake. Specialty shops like Math ‘n’ Stuff, a shop that sells books, puzzles, and toys, add extra charm.
Along with a close-knit community, renters are attracted to Maple Leaf’s excellent schools and proximity to major points of interest. Northgate Mal lies in the corner of the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at The Enclave
It really is funny how most reviews here are terrible for this place, but the overall rating claims to be 5 stars. This place is an absolute joke. Not to mention, Enclave has deleted a recent review mentioning this, as well. This place is a nightmare to live in, from the constant noise amongst your neighbors due to the paper-thin walls, cheaply made appliances and cheap building materials, and poor management and lack of action. I will emphasize that peace does not exist in this horrid apartment complex that is NOWHERE close to "luxury living." Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Your mental health will thank you.

This will be a long review, but in short avoid this place as best you can. To begin, the Enclave is a typical 5+1 mid-rise apartment, meaning the first level is retail and the next 5 levels are living spaces for residents. Typically the way these buildings are constructed is the barrier between the retail level and the first level of living space will be concrete with insulation to keep out noise from below, with the rest of the building being wooden frame. The Enclave, for whatever reason, does not have this. There is no sound barrier between the retail level and first level of living space, and so you are able to hear EVERYTHING that happens below you in the very busy Total Wine garage, this includes them loudly moving freight at 11 pm and 6 am. The upper level frame does not get much better. There is zero insulation, if you put your ear up to a wall you can literally hear the air blowing through it. Sound CARRIES through this building, from below, from the hallway, from your side-to-side neighbors, upstairs, and even diagonal. Whether people here are inconsiderate to this fact or don't realize, I'm not sure, but it doesn't really matter. Management does not really have any control over the frame of the building, so, what can you do about that? At the beginning of our lease, I liked the management here, they're nice and will listen, but ultimately are kind of useless. They were kind enough to allow us to switch units as our neighbor below would scream out of his window every night at 3 am and bang on the walls, probably in retaliation to another neighbor keeping him up, as I mentioned previously the sound carries. After we switched units, they hit us with a $230 cleaning fee for our previous unit. When asked, they said it was a a flat fee they charged all units. Note, the lease mentions there is not a flat fee but rather managements discretion on whether or not they charge. What this means is that, no matter how clean you leave the unit, if management decides it needs a cleaning service they will charge you $230 no matter the work needed. When asked for proof of what was needed to be cleaned, I was sent a picture of an oven with some build-up on the bottom, a faucet with a small soap stain, and the living room carpet with the shadows of light fixtures bouncing weirdly off of it. $230 for that? They will charge you for it, no matter what you do. Might as well not clean on your way out, honestly. AVOID

It really is funny how the overall rating for this place says 5 stars, when most of the reviews are truthfully 1 star (0 stars really). Enclave is not even close to "luxury living." Most everything is broken and cheaply made. Units are overpriced for what they are worth. Worst part is constant NOISE from inconsiderate neighbors, due to low quality building materials in this cheaply made building. You can hear people from all walls, including those units diagonal from you. Absolutely ridiculous. Management does absolutely nothing about noise complaints, as if they do not care about the well-being of the residents. Peace does not exist here. Do yourself a favor and do NOT live in this awful hell.

I would put zero star if I could. Everything looks beautiful but horrible place to live. If you want to see homeless people walking in hallway, sleeping in garage, then this is the best place for you!!! These are not the only amazing things that you will have... you can feel living in Goodwills when you step out of elevators and see tons of trashy furnitures that other residents left out. If someone broke into your car, do NOT waste your time to go to office for checking the camera. There is nothing recorded. There tones of other amazing things that I would mention here if I had time.

Cheaply made, overpriced, low quality apartment. You can hear your neighbors above and below you opening and closing drawers, walking, closing doors, and talking. Privacy does not exist in this poorly constructed apartment with lacking management, and even the residents living here are careless, insensitive people.

Apartment is poorly built, as if made out of cheap plastic and cardboard. You can hear every single step and sound of your neighbors both above and below you, and most people living here seem to be very inconsiderate. Management truly does not care about your well-being. All in all, an overpriced, cheaply made apartment with terrible management.

I am writing this review after I waited 3 months to get my money back. At the time of leasing, the management asked to deposit $250 and said they will return the money in the end if nothing is damaged in the apartment. After I moved out of the apartment, I got a bill for $495, that too, they sent this bill to a collecting agency. I was shocked to see what the bill was all about, but I did not understand because of the complicated format of the bill, I went to the management to ask if they can explain me the bill as there was nothing due when I left the apartment but again no one was available to help me with that. I understand that they would need to clean the apartment professionally and $100-$250 is sufficient for that but $495 was not justified. I had to pay the bill because I was getting emails from the collection agency to pay soon. Now it was time for them to return my deposit of $250, and its been 3 months but there is no update and I don't have time and patience for all this. I went to meet the management twice, every time they are sorry by saying I am new here and my manager will look into the matter, please drop an email. It's been 4 months and now I know they will not return my money. So, the total move out cost was $745. I feel cheated and would not suggest someone stay here until the management changes their behavior.

Maintenance gets the buildings mixed up and enters our apartment without our knowledge or consent, packages go missing, we receive emails and letters intended for other residents - sometimes the emails say our lease has expired so it leaves us feeling stressed and scrambled. The hallways and parking garage REEKS of garbage and old food, we often find dog poop in the stairwells, and the elevators break down at least once a month. The management used to be friendly and helpful when we moved in (June 2015), but for the past year it's been a revolving door of unhelpful, incompetent "leasing professionals" who will not go out of their way to help you. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

Constant car theft even though it is in closed garage. They say they have security cameras but they are only facing the elevators and enterance. Staff doesn't nothing for you after you sign. They talk the place up and it looks nice, but they constantly have problems. The elevators constantly smell. Walked in and there was dog crap and pee on the ground of the elevators. Stayed there for two days. Fire alarms went of late at night twice in one month. Power went out but no buildings around the apartment lost power. Countless number of other issues. Save yourself the headache that I didn't and don't move into this place.

I would rather pay more to live elsewhere than staying here. The service was extremely poor, and the staffs were impatient with their residents. I mean why are we paying for those people? Even high school kids nowadays can do a better job than them.

Nice apartment but the management team is the WORST I've EVER seen! They will ask YOU to pay for their FAULT! Be nice to yourself and don't waste your time here!
This place is awesome! The one thing I love about living here is the location. Right next to Target, Starbucks, and QFC! Not only that, the management staff are very friendly and easy to work with. They made the leasing process very easy. Amenities are great. I can always get a workout in and use the lounge area to watch football games. Lastly, the open one bedroom is very spacious for one person. The bedroom is large enough to fit a queen size bed. Absolutely love living here so far! :D
My wife and I have been living in this apartment for almost year since the place opened on Oct. 17th. The apartment features a fitness center with studio/yoga/dance room, theater room, game room (console gaming), and extra large resident lounge with a game room (pool and shuffle board) that has sliding doors that can be utilized to separate from the resident lounge. Off of the resident lounge is the courtyard which features 2 BBQs although they're relatively far away from the lounge at the other end of the courtyard. These are all great amenities. The on-site staff from Pinnacle are great too. You can probably find reviews where tenants complain about problems with staff, security, and other #firstworldproblems, but it isn't anything that you would not find at any other apartment complex. If use your common sense, have awareness, and pitch into the well-being of your apartment community - it'll be smooth sailing! I've enjoyed my stay here thus far and would encourage anyone to definitely consider this spot! Thanks!
I have to start the good; new modern apartment, best amenities(fitness center, business center, residence lounge, movie room, game room, outdoor courtyard with fireplace and Gas BBQ grills) great location, great leasing staff, honestly I don't want to leave here.... So for the bad; we need night security, our closed garage is always being robbed, trespassers, and just for extra safety issues. The other big complaint is for new modern apartments and the cost of living there's no AC. All summer inside my unit has been 81 to 86 degrees. Not very comfortable even with fans on, and blinds closed. I have heard of some early noise complaints from the garage men picking up garage but that's not a serious matter. All in all I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the AC and people reporting their property stolen from their cars or in our bike storage.

Spacious, modern, sleek living. Professional, clean, and teeming with amenities. Bureaucracy and rules abound, however, not to mention $$$.
