Both gates to the apartment complex have been broken since I moved in, and neighbors say this has been the case for much longer than that. As a result, sketchy people from lower nearby complexes drive in make a mess, and roam around at night, making a lot of noise ESPECIALLY at the pool. I'm often woken up at 3 AM on school and work nights!!! I have asked management multiple times why the gate hasn't been fixed, and they always have a new excuse. This place is far from the secure, peaceful community it claims to be. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Thank you for sharing your observations with us. We have plans to replace the motors in the gates. Unfortunately, our vendor was no longer in business when we made room in the budget for this costly repair. Currently, we are in search of a vendor who can supply and install the motors. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact us at manager@enclaveapts.com.
I would never recommend living here. This is by far the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. Since the day I moved in, the AC was broken, the washer flooded our apartment, the oven almost caught on fire, there was cockroaches in our kitchen. Maintenance eventually fixed the issues but it doesn’t make up for the old appliances that are constantly falling apart. Would not recommend.

me and my roommate initially signed up for just a basic unit and signed the leasing contract for the basic unit but they apparently ran out of units so they upgraded us to the “platinum” unit 2 weeks before we were suppose to move which was suppose to be july 18. The unit wasn’t ready until july 20 and when we walked through we saw a lot of problems such as grout stuck to the floor it not properly done and as we continued to live here we experienced much more problems such as the AC breaking atleast once a month are kitchen sink falling the fire sprinklers metal circle falling out of almost all of them the grout in the shower slowly leaving a massive stain and the constant battle with are neighbours over the lights that are controlled by a remote. Me and my roommate made multiple emails to management and they did nothing they did give us a gift card of $25 for the late move in date after they said we would get reimbursed $35 and nothing else. This was just are unit there are so many problems with the amenities such as the pool being green and dirty most of the week the gym not being completed for almost 3 months after move in and many more.
We lived in The Enclave from May 2020 to July 2021 and I am writing this review summarizing the pros and cons to rent an apartment there. In summary, I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Enclave for the reasons below. Pros Location. This is probably the strongest point of living here, especially if you work/study at Texas A&M University. You just cross the street and take the bus to go to TAMU. There are two grocery stories super close (HEB and Target), pharmacies, Starbucks...; Cons Pet's waste elsewhere. The grass is disgusting! The Enclave sent some emails asking people to clean their pet's waste but did not work. Be careful if you walk in the grass; you might step on something that is not the grass! They are terrible at handling the maintenance schedule when they hire a vendor. One of the covered parking spots crashed. It took months until they removed the cover and put in a new one. They just isolated the area with some bands, which looked like a crime scene. In November 2020, they started painting the complex. We received a dozen emails asking to remove the stuff from the balcony. So we put the plants inside, and they never came on the planned date. The maintenance after the winter storms has been painful in terms of the scheduler. On a Saturday at 10 am, some guys knocked on the door to paint my unit! We had to remove part of our stuff to the bedroom. I think they should at least go together for the first time with the people who do not work here to talk with the people who live here. They need to do some maintenance. Not just give the apartment keys to the vendors and ask them to go to our apartment. Sometimes they sent emails warning they would shut the water off. So, we saved some water in the bath to use, but they did not shut off the water. Another time, the maintenance took longer, and we did not have some water saved! They changed the mailbox, and it took about one week between the changes and new keys! The manager is not accessible. It’s very difficult to talk with her; After I made the decision to not renew the contract, they bothered me several times asking if I wanted to leave earlier, so they could rent the apartment to a new resident. The problem is that they did not want to waive the take over fees; We cleaned the apartment before we left, but they charged me due to the cleaning of the FANS and CARPET, which they probably messed up due to the several maintenances in the apartment.
I wish I had read reviews on websites before signing the lease. Now I see people had similar experiences. The staff are rude and trying to find ways to get more money from you (especially when you wanna move out). Terrible maintenance. My toilet overflowed and the only thing they did was to shut off water. It took them more than a week to change the carpets and repair the toilet. I had to stay at a hotel at my own expense in the meantime. The manager is not responsive and rude. I wouldn't recommend it at all!

I wish there was a zero star option here. My life has been a disaster since I got here. Terrible maintenance. One needs to call them several times to finally fix something. They deceive customers while signing the lease and after that do whatever they want. The staff can be rude at times. I was promised to be roommate matched and be noticed in advance but this SUNDAY at 8:30 AM !!! Called me and sent me a roommate that is not a fit!! Living here is a waste of money!!

Living at The Enclave was everything I could ask for. Communicating with management was timely and easy and I wish all front offices were as easy and helpful as they were. The location was great (next to HEB, Target, 1 - 5min walk to the bus stop), and the complex was maintained very well. The complex has AMPLE parking. All problems (of which there were few) would be solved by the staff or maintenance quickly. The units themselves are not grandiose, but the experience living here was just phenomenal for it's price! The only issues with living here we ever had were: some (what seemed like purposeful) misguiding language on signing and resigning bonuses; leases are for a year, but not to the exact day (i.e. move-in Aug 20th and move-out Aug 1st next year) causing your moving month to be essentially be a full months rent for only living there for 20 days. DO NOT let these inconveniences discourage you though! If you are pleasant and respectful to the front office, they will be willing to do everything they can to make living here a fantastic experience! Maria, Austin, and the others were always helpful. When our neighbor had a slight leak in their pipes, our carpet to one of our bedrooms got wet in a couple spots and felt scummy. We requested the carpet to be cleaned and Austin was happy to help! A carpet cleaning crew came within 2 days. As for all apartments, don't have 100% trust with the complex because they are a business. They want as much money as they can get, but if you give the respect that the staff deserve, they will return the favor!
Toilet overflowed during the night. It was reported to maintenance before 10 AM. Maintenance came, removed what water they could & took the soaked padding out. However, maintenance told them the floors had to dry & they would return on Tuesday, remind you this is Saturday . I spoke with Austin about 1PM on Saturday , to find out the plans of getting the carpet & padding taken care of. My next question was ...could the carpet be cleaned since the boys were expected to live there for four days until maintenance returned, Sat- Tues. The response was - our maintenance supervisor has assessed the water situation & says it was cleaned water so the carpet will not be cleaned. The apartment has two small bedrooms of carpet, restoration services are available 24/7. For sanitation reasons, the carpet & padding should have been removed, or the water removed with some type of disinfectant process. The assumption that it does not need one or the other because it’s clean water is a Ridiculous assumption. After being closed up, today -Sunday the apartment reaks of a strong fetid, musty odor. Austin did offer the model apartment but the washer doesn’t work well and the mattress wasn’t comfortable. Not to mention since day one, there has been problems with the washer, it has never spinner properly, we have to hand squeeze clothes and the dryer has been reported multiple times; if it gets too hot, it has to cool down before works again. The office staff respondes quickly & are very nice about it but nothing ever gets fixed. Nice location, neat appearance but all in all, the overall quality of the apartments are minimal expectations at best.
The units are nothing like the models. They are the WORSE management ever in history!! Do NOT trust them, do NOT listen to what they tell you because they are mostly likely lying to get you sign the lease. Make it your last choice and read the lease otherwise you will be in big trouble! I was promised an early move in. However, by the date of the move-in, they offered me a different plan!! The director asked me to wait for just ONE more day to get my assigned unit ready and for the following 5 days I had been lied too over and over. One time while I was waiting for the director, I heard them promising a future resident an early move-in if they sign now!!! So it was not a misunderstanding in my situation and they are trying to trap every resident!! Just remember No one can keep his/her word even the director herself. I had once a leaking toilet which they considered as an emergency maintenance, but it took them more than two days to get it fixed!!! , so that is the fastest expected maintenance you should have for any emergency !!
