In the center of Atlanta’s West Midtown district is one of its oldest neighborhoods, Home Park. The area borders Georgia Tech’s campus and Atlantic Station, injecting it with an energetic feel and making it perfect for students looking to live off-campus but still be close to classes.
Some of Atlanta’s most popular restaurants lie on the western edge of Home Park. The Optimist and Barcelona Wine Bar both churn out fantastic fare, but there are affordable eateries scattered around the area too.
Home Park’s rental scene includes historic homes and new apartment complexes, so there’s something for every budget and style. It’s also a convenient location for accessing the rest of Atlanta, with the nearby I-85 and 14th St. NW ferrying you across the city.

Property Ratings at The Exchange
"My experience here, though I’ve only lived here for less than a year, has been mixed. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and in a great location. However, the ongoing issues I've faced with the A/C unit in this hot Atlanta, GA have been quite inconvenient and unacceptable."

This complex is super nice and in the heart of Midtown Atlanta/ Atlantic Station. I feel very fortunate to be able to feel like I am safe at night walking my two dogs as well as my vehicle in a parking garage that stays with a fob only accessible gate. The size of the complex is smaller so there is less traffic and more on the quiet side. I enjoy living here and I would recommend The Exchange to those who are interested in being part of a safe community.

Great location. The apartments are clean. Package pick up facilities are good. Cell phone reception is not great.

Great community in a great location. Jessica from leasing office is always very helpful and attentive when needed. Friendly maintenance staff as well and they act quickly once you put in a maintenance order. Very happy with my move to The Exchange.

I have absolutely LOVED living at The Exchange the past 2 years. The rent was lower than any complex that had a 1B/1B, pretty much anywhere safe in the city. The location was really convenient to so many things, and I took daily walks around the neighborhood. I also loved the appearance of my unit (charcoal floors, light cabinetry/countertops, and up-to-date appliances). I also frequented the pool! The maintenance was really fast, and the maintenance guys were great at their jobs and fun to catch up with once in a while. I barely had any issues, and nothing long-standing, and I needed that because I worked from home. The only thing that people should be aware of is that the fire alarm seems to malfunction. This has never really posed a true inconvenience to me, so I would live here again. The only reason I'm moving is because I'm going back to school, out of state. Hector and the leasing office have been great.

A conveniently located apartment complex, perfect for students of Georgia Tech. Ikea and Atlantic station at walking distance, and right next to Stinger bus stop. Unfurnished but spacious apartments with good amenities. Love the coffee machine in the lounge! :)

Just know that the walls are paper thin and there are several hidden fees. They make you pay for a mail and trash - you can’t opt out

This location is phenomenal, staff is always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend.
Just moved in, leasing staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. No major issues with the apartment upon moving in. If any issues do arise, I am fairly confident that management would take care of them in a timely fashion.
The Exchange is a wonderful place to live. The aesthetic is modern and bright, the amenities are great (especially the washer and dryer, at least in my unit!), and we're only a half mile from the shops and restaurants at Atlantic Station!
My goal was to move to Atlanta and buy a home in six months. I ended up staying at the Exchange for two years for several reasons: I was comfortable, felt safe, loved location, and appreciated the support I received from your professional and responsive staff members...at all levels. It was a great transition spot for someone like me: retiring but still very active.
All said and done not bad, biggest complaint would be dont pick the side that faces the Georgia Tech bus yard or else youll hear buses backing up at midnight and starting up again in the morning. Also a lot of fees for water/sewer/trash/pest. Maybe Im the new guy in town but charging me just as much for sewer and water feels like Im getting double billed for water, usually water is cheap but maybe Im just new to fancy apartment city living.
LOVE the staff at the Exchange. This is actually the main reason I moved here (the exchange is beautiful but the staff is just amazing). If you have a dog this area is perfect for you. There’s a dog park on site and another one walking distance. If you want to be in the city but hate traffic, this is also the place for you. It’s quiet but minutes away from all the best attractions. Go ahead and book an appointment with Demetri. He will hook you up with everything you need and more!
This property is under new management and in the process of being renovated. I'd lived there for 3 years and recently moved out. The only persistent problem I had over the 3 years was roaches. Management was good about treating my unit. I kept my unit clean and never left food out. However, the problem was the way the units are connected, the roaches would find their way through the walls from other units. Please take this advice. Do a THOROUGH walk through if you move in, and keep ALL records. I discovered damage 2 days after I moved in and made the mistake of leaving it on a note for the assistant manager. I didn't keep that record and the new company has since taken over. It was painful for me to pay for damages I know I didn't do. New management said they can't help me since I don't have a record. KEEP YOUR RECORDS. Overall, I enjoyed living there. I thought it was a little pricey for what I got. The location was perfect for getting on the interstate and being centrally located near everything. The place was secure. The amenities were nice. It was just a bitter ending in my situation having to pay for something I didn't cause.
This is a great apartment for a single person living alone or with their partner, and maybe a child, but isn't the best place for a larger family, as the complex only offers one and two bedroom apartments. The courtyard is nice but the constant noise of the fountains gets old quick. Other Than that, the location is perfect and convenient to all parts of the city.
Great location in Atlantic Station! Close to shopping and a lot of Atlanta attractions! Free shuttle around Atlantic station. Reasonable prices.... It is close to a train track and you will hear the train in the middle on the night. With that said the amenities are great and you cannot beat the location!
