From its colorful murals to its fantastic river views, Downtown Vancouver stands out as a fun-filled, trendy neighborhood directly across the Columbia River from Portland. The heart of downtown, Esther Short Park, is the Northwest’s oldest park, established in 1853. Like the rest of Downtown Vancouver, this isn’t your typical park – it includes an interactive fountain, a rose garden, and the Salmon Run Bell Tower. The park is the location of a variety of city festivals and events, including the Vancouver Farmers Market and the Vancouver Brewfest.
Explore Vancouver’s frontier past at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and at the Clark County Historical Museum. Downtown Vancouver offers a variety of shops and restaurants along the very walkable Main Street, including local favorites like Thai Orchid, Brickhouse Bar, and Compass Coffee. Catch a movie at the art deco Kiggins Theatre, first built in 1936, or see a live performance at the Magenta Theater.

Property Ratings at The Felix @ Our Heroes Place
Rude management, dirty, and extremely loud. I was really excited to move in too. Great location but too many cons. Moved out the minute my lease was up.
From first contact, the staff at Prestige were warm, engaged, and informative - and this at a challenging time to conduct apartment tours and leases. The quality of the apartment is very good for the rate and the location is excellent!

You're too kind! Thank you for the 5-star rating and appreciation of our team's hard work. It is our pleasure to assist our valued residents. Have a great day, and please let us know if you need our attention!
I have been living here for two years now and I love it here. Heather is always responsive to my emails in less than a day. Ive never had any issues with maintenance or the management in this building. The location is central to downtown Vancouver and you can walk everywhere downtown. And its right at the bridge to Portland so it only takes a 5 min drive and your in the middle of everything Portland has to offer. The building has air conditioning and a gym (although its not open yet due to covid). I will be signing my third lease in couple of months!!
Property Manager at The Felix @ Our Heroes Place, Responded To This Review
We are so happy to see how much you have enjoyed your time here and what we have been able to create and offer you! We love to see that our community is perfectly located for you and your needs. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you going forward.
Management does not respond to requests to fix apartments, just tells lies that they will fix it. I have asked for repairs dozens of times without getting simple things fixed.
I have been in the Prestige Plaza apartments for almost a year now and I have enjoyed my stay there. The facility is kept nice and clean and I really enjoy the security. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The building and the facilities themselves are very nice. The club room was nice, if you could manage to find it unoccupied. The workout room was acceptable. And the apartments themselves were very nice. Except that the walls were PAPER THIN, and so we had problems with watching our TV at normal volume and it causing problems for the neighbors. We'd hope that they'd be able to fill the business locations with some nice places to hang out or something, but in over a year most of those are empty. When we first moved in, the community was great. The manager was super friendly and knew everyone, and there were monthly mixers and events. But that all ended pretty quickly. The office changed management companies and the manager herself left. Then it went very downhill. There were constant errors with accounting. Their autopay system would withdraw less than you owed and then they'd threaten you about paying the rest in a day or so or they'd charge you late fee. There was no recognition that the mistake was their fault and no apologies or grace as far as fixing the mistakes. You cannot rely on anything the management says 1. because there's no guarantee that person will still work there by the time it becomes important and 2. even if it's the same person, there is literally NO accountability for them telling you something was ok. We only lived there for one year and there were more than 3 managers who came and left. On moving out, we cleaned the apartment completely, as required by the lease. But then we got our refund check it was short a significant amount of money and came without any accounting sheet or explanation of charges. When we finally got a response three weeks and several emails later, the account sheet showed two cleaning fees that were not included or disclosed in the lease. This place is overpriced to start, but they will absolutely try to stick you with unexpected charges or your way out. The location is great, and the facilities themselves are nice(ish), but overall, I would NOT recommend these apartments. Take your money somewhere else and get more for your rent budget.
