Property Ratings at The Fields of Chantilly
I love my first new place. It has just enough space and is super cozy. The carpet is new and the location is perfect, right next to the pool. Nicole helped us find something in our price range at the perfect time, right before spring. We love that it has a park with grills and pool nearby.
Very happy to not be living here anymore. I lived in this neighborhood since 2006-2017. This neighborhood looks very pretty and nice at first but this is no place you want to call home. This is not a safe neighborhood. I have been stalked and have been burglarized while living here, both of which have been reported to the police. If you do plan on living here, please do not live on the first floor. Police told me it's easier for burglars and stalkers to prey on you if you live on the first floor. The police also mentioned that it was most likely someone who lived in the neighborhood who was able to easily watch my every move. I understand that it's not necessarily the apartment complex's fault but I want to mention this so people are aware of the stuff that can happen to you here. Walls are very thin and you can hear every argument, every step they take, and every song your fellow neighbors decide to play. Not all, but many of the children here are not well behaved. I have seen many fights, and heard lots of cursing and screaming. Children will be children but due to the walls being paper thin I can hear all of the shenanigans. As other reviewers have mentioned on different platforms, there is definitely a roach problem that never seems to go away. It is very embarrassing and shameful to try to have guests over when you know they might see one. I kept my home very clean and still had roaches. It is inevitable, they crawl through the walls into different apartments. Rent also goes up every year as others have mentioned. I will say the ladies at the front office and the maintenance workers were extremely kind.
Why you shouldn’t rent from here honest review so as you guys can see from the previous reviews this apartment complex used to be great and family friendly it know it’s the complete opposite the whole complex needs a renovation the roofs are leaking the appliances in the apartments don’t work trash is piling up btw the elementary school that is assigned to this apartment is also really bad . The apartments are filled with cockroaches and the staff doesn’t even care about you issues they tell you they’ll come but never show up also one of the staff members who is a male stares at women and girls in a very inappropriate way don’t feel safe planing to move out by the end of the year .
I've lived here for 14 years with my family. Its a wonderful quiet neighborhood with amazing polite neighbors. They have tons of events held by the rental office like summer pool parties, back to school bags, and a food drive around thanksgiving. The staff are amazing and always there to help. There is a park with 2 playgrounds, a basketball court, a pool, a gym, and an office. Its an amazing place to live and id recommend it to anyone looking for a nice apartment.
Living here has been a great experience for me and my family. I feel at home here. I love looking out over my balcony and catching the view of the mountains from a far and getting a glimpse of the airplanes as they pass my window!
If your income qualifies, this is the best deal in the area in terms of price for moderate income people, although they do gouge on things like late fees and utilities. Spacious (1052 sq ft) 2 bdrm 2 baths for $1288 per month. Family oriented, multi-ethnic community.
Hey,I love my apartment because I am blessed. But it has a leak that never been fixed. The carpet should be cleaned for years in apartment. I'm trying my best as a single parent, working so hard to make ends met. I would appreciate the blessings very much.
