Property Ratings at Acadian Place Apartments
Don’t waste your money here. They don’t fix anything. Everything in the place have paint on it.
I took advantage of the specials they are having at Acadian Place Apartments. It really has worked out for me and is even giving me a break from paying full rent for the next two months. That means I will have extra money for the holidays. I got a three-bedroom townhouse where the master bedroom along with the washer and dryer is on the lower level. That means my kids are upstairs and have their own space to play games or watch videos and such. I think this is really going to work out for me. The lady in the office was very nice and showed me my options and then took care of all the processing of the paperwork. In a short period of time we were setting the date for my move-in. I was so happy I told her I wanted to give her the credit for her help and offered to write this review. You might want to check out their apartments and their specials.
Living here at Acadian Place Apartments has worked out for me. I live in a 3 bedroom with two full bathrooms. I love the washer and dryer and I love the large patio area where my kids can play and be in a fenced in area. I just open the blinds and I can keep an eye on them while I cook or watch TV. I also noticed that the very nice groundskeeper keeps the property clean. He walks around every weekday picking up what kids tend to drop and leave behind. The lady in the office is nice and helpful too. Me and my kids like living here…you might too. Check it out and see.
I am not one to go online and post information but the people who work at Acadian Place Apartments have been very nice and helpful to me so I figured I should do what I could to recognize their efforts to help their residents. They go above and beyond and have been very kind to me and my elderly father. Anytime I have needed them to come fix something in my apartment they were quick to respond; especially when the heater was acting up. They didn’t want my Dad to be uncomfortable. And, the guy that worked on the heater even asked if there was anything else he could take care of while he was there. I been here a long time and have seen people come and go but right now we really got some good people working here and they should be recognized. If you decide to move here you will get a chance to see what I am talking about. Give ‘em a call and find out for yourself.
So I just moved here with my roommates and we are loving this townhouse set-up. My friends took the upstairs bedrooms and I got the downstairs bedroom. It gives us separation with our own space but we can all hang out in the downstairs living room. We also like that it came with a washer and dryer inside our apartment….no more trips to the laundromat. I also like that there is a grocery store within walking distance and it is very close to Millerville for Target, Chili’s and those other restaurants in the area. Then you can easily hop on I-12 to go downtown if you want. They also have good specials right now. Check them out.
This location is great for me and my family. My experience was good and after visiting the office I told the lady in the office that I would be happy to post a review on this web site. So, since I been here they have been good to me by taking care of repairs when I need them and I like that they have regular pest control and keep the grounds clean. I also like that we can go right across the street and hang out at the gym or play football at the PARD park. It’s great for families.
I moved here and was excited to get a move-in special. After checking around I thought I was getting a nice size apartment for the price and it had a washer and dryer too. I also liked the two bedroom townhouse cause that floorplan separates the living area from the bedrooms. Overall I am glad I moved here. Give 'em a try. The lady in the office is very nice and easy to work with.
My Mom and I lived here for several years. When she got sick we didn't know what we were going to do cause she couldn't walk up the stairs in the townhouse. I went to talk to the lady in the office and I was surprised that she would help us out. She talked to her management company and they worked with us to move to a downstairs apartment. Needless to say, this helped to take away a lot of stress and allowed us to stay where we love to live. I really appreciated the help and the kindness of the office staff. That's why it is a good place to live.
I been here at Acadian for a while. Yeah, it was good that they changed the people in the office cause we was having problems. But, now it is so much better. They are really on it and taking care of the apartments so much better. I'm glad I stuck it out cause I am here to see the changes. So now I can really say it is a good place to live. Check 'em out.
I've been living at Acadian Place for quite some time. Over the years there's been some changes in the office staff but finally we see someone in the office now that really cares about the residents and is eager to be of help. Every time I have had a problem they have made sure to write a work order ticket and get the maintenance people to take care of it. I like that they have 24 hour on-call too. If you are looking for a nice place to live give them a chance to show you around. It's also nice to be across the street from the park where you kids can enjoy themselves.
A lot of times people only post bad experiences online. Well, today I want to post a good experience. Yeah, I had a problem last week with a leaky faucet and a beeping smoke detector. I called the office and in a short time Frank was at my door to fix the faucet and change the battery in my smoke detector. And, he did it with a nice attitude. I guess "customer service" still exists. I think more people should give credit to the good and not just to what they think is bad. I like living at Acadian Place and I like that they take care of any problems I have in my apartment.
Acadian place apartments had a fire in the last building toward the exit on April 5 2019. The fire started in the storage room connected to the apartment building. Entergy shut the power down and informed the manager and the owner that the power would be off the entire weekend. The manager put notes on the door and told us to call and complain to Entergy. The management team or the owner did not offer any assistance or help to the 12 families that were affected! Families were forced to stay there in the apartments without electricity or air conditioning. There were several other vacant apartments with electricity for all families to be comfortable until the electrical problems were fixed. I know apartments complex have insurance and they could have offered hotels rooms but they did not offer anything. NOTHING! Maintenance is AWFUL TOO! I plan on moving ASAP! They can try to add a response to this comment but if u want to know for sure just ask the 12 families who had to suffer ! They also told us in the note to put our food in an ice chest and to clean out the refrigerator. Just horrible ownership and management!
Infested with extremely huge sewer rats wood rats Idk but they are they size of a kitten and they smell so bad once they have been trapped. We had to break our lease or continue sitting outside at night and sleeping in the day to deal with the rats they were so huge and they do not budge! They eat human food candy anything even but through our bottle of Aleves and ate the pills. Nice apt but they don’t let you know about the rats before signing their long lease

They have had 10 managers in less than 10 years. Looking up past rent from months/years ago to make tenants pay but the upkeep is poor. Mold in walls covered up by paint. You'll die living and breathing it.

Sorry that you are feeling that here at Acadian Place Apartments management has changed often. In which that is not true giving 10 years is a very long time. Over time life happens in our employees lives, such as a baby being born and wanting to stay home and be a full-time mom, moving out of state and as such as staying home to take care of a sick mother. We would never do our residents such a thing as to cover up mold with paint. Our maintenance staff constantly checks monthly for such issues before any happens. Thank You!
It's said you sign a 12 month lease when If they look it's 13 months...that free month isn't really free...manager with the old wig on and face of make up stealing out of tenants apartment once served eviction notice..mold throughout units
