Just had a bad move-in experience with this place. The office lady immediately was upset that I'd arrived earlier than expected (by less than 1 hr). Apparently, they only do move-ins at a certain time of day, which may have been in a welcome letter that we never received. They were completely unprepared for us, despite our application being from January (now March) and the apartment has been vacant for at least two weeks. They still had to repair a patch in the wall of a closet and touch up paint on some messed up baseboards. The microwave and oven weren't actually clean, just kinda wiped a bit. Otherwise, it's a nice-looking place compared to many in the area and near a lot of cool spots. The thing which got me the most is the attitude of the office girl. She told my husband (who she kept calling different names like Jason or Dustin) that she'd tried to call us to tell us that our former apartment hadn't sent over our rental info as previous tenants. But neither of us received phone calls. I don't have any voicemails either despite her claim that she "always" leaves voicemails. Also, I'd sent over our rental insurance in an email last week, which she acknowledged receiving, but no one had responded to confirm the receipt or to alert us to a problem. So she had to call our former complex before we could even get our keys this morning and do our walk-through. She kept trying to throw us (the new tenants/customers!) under the bus, despite not having actually called or emailed us. Then when I called her out on not having even told us by email, said "oh, well I was on vacation." Okay, which is it? At no point did she simply say, my bad I'm sorry. Which would have made a huge difference to us because we get that stuff happens. Lack of planning and prep on your part doesn't make it your customer's responsibility, especially when not properly alerted. We've received so little communication from them in this process. Not even a welcome letter. Our old complex said that they hadn't received all the emails that they said they'd sent either. And one phone call took care of all of it, but the lady here said they'd sent 8 emails. After 2, that's when you call. The overall complex, area, and even the apartment weren't bad minus a couple of nitpicky things. But the poor management that blames the customer the moment they realize they're unprepared is just bad business.
I just moved in and the Management and Staff have went above and beyond exceeding my expectations with the whole move in process and initial minor maintence repairs. Definately has made this move so much easier on me and my son and is very much appreciated!
We haven’t leased yet; regardless, it was an amazing experience. Super professional. Exciting, really! We showed up without an appointment like 30 minutes before closing and she gave us a tour anyway. It was a fun and enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a happy mix between amazing amenities, apartments, and price.

I had been looking for a place to leave for a few months and toured quite a few. I hadn't had any luck until I stopped at Flats at Fishers. My friends normally go with me and help me vet the place. However, Kara made things fun and exciting. She showed me the ins and outs of the community. I was just looking for a place to live but what I found was a home. My neighbors are super friendly, the community is quiet and calm, there are plenty of things to do in the local area. BEST OF ALL there is a grocery store right next to my apartment. If you or anyone you know is considering living here the price is worth it. It may seem pricey but you always get what you pay for. Beautiful interior, plenty of parking, and the best amenities. I love living here and you will too.

Apartments are nice but… Let me start off by saying that, the maintenance staff is amazing here. They are super responsive and take care of any issue you’ll have. The office staff is an entirely different story… I’ve lived here almost 2 years and, office staff is forever changing and they never hire anyone friendly here. You can ask a question and get different answers from everyone in the office. Also the noise level is superhigh. I can hear my upstairs neighbors as if they were in my own place....
My fiancé and I fell in love with these apartments when we toured the community. We immediately went home to apply—in doing so we were notified to contact the office and told we would hear back the following day. We never did. We wound up getting a letter saying we were denied due to insufficient rental history. I was pretty annoyed that nobody had the decency to call us, but after finally getting in touch with the leasing office we were explained the denial and immediately did everything in our part to take care of the issue—we were told once that was done there would be zero issue in getting the application approved and moving forward with renting and we would hear something back by the end of the week. Nobody ever called us. We had to make multiple calls to the office just to find out that they need more information, the information hasn’t been submitted, or nobody has followed up and our application is still pending. We have been dealing this this for going into two weeks now and honestly I am 100% convinced the office is screening my calls (they never ask for my name when I call but always know who I am) because calling multiple times a day for information is fruitless—I can never reach anyone. Maybe I talk to someone every other day. We just want to know the status good or bad—after spending $100 on an application fee I think that’s deserving. This complex has really held up our rental plans with other companies due to their incompetent staff and communication. It’s probably a blessing in disguise we won’t be renting from them. I can only imagine what it’s like trying to get help for a real issue. BEAUTIFUL homes and community—office seems to be extremely understaffed or extremely uncaring. It’s a toss up.

We do provide our rental selection criteria at the time of application in an effort to communicate all of the steps that are part of our application screening process. The application results are not instantaneous as we do verify previous rental history prior to making our final decisions. Regrettably, this process can take a bit of time if the rental verifications are not received quickly from the communities where you rented from previously. While we did communicate with you on several occasions that the pending rental verifications were the only items holding up the application process, your frustrations are of great concern to us and we urge you to please reach out to us again and we would be happy to address any remaining concerns that you may have. Safety is the most important thing to me. It is just my young daughter and I here but I always feel safe. It's a great location and a wonderful community. My neighbors have been very nice so far and the office staff has been more than helpful. Flats at fishers is a wonderful place to live!!
I am very happy with my decision to move into the Flats at Fishers! My move in went very smooth and the staff had everything organized and ready to go. They seem to be very on top of it! This a great location and I love the floor plan of my apartment!
Rude Rude Rude office staff. Apartments are junk, everything always breaks. Hated going into the office, the girls in there were as rude as possible, stuck up. Manager refused to talk to me about an issue with my apartment. Would never suggest renting here.
Beware!! Do not rent here. Management is terrible and the apartments are equipped with non working air units. From the beginning of our lease we had problems with our air. It would work for a few days then go out. Maintenance would come and dumped freon into the unit as a quick fix. Which only made matters worse. This went on from July until fall. Then our heat began blowing out cold air. We were told to just turn on the emergency heat to fix the problem because they were out of freon. Fast forward to April 2017, it's hot and my son wakes up with his entire face swollen. We went to turn on the air. Guess what. No air. I submit a request and guess what? We lived in an apartment without air for almost 2 months and even to the day we finally were feed up and moved out, the air still was not fixed. The temperature in the apartment was 91 degrees on average in that apartment and we lived on the 3rd floor! Our son suffers from asthma and severe allergies and we were finally given a window air unit which only made his breathing problems worse after having to suffer for over a month and half. We stayed because we were told by the manager Katie that our air would be fixed in a week, then we would here oh I didn't hear from them, let me call, it will be another week! Then another week and so on. Yet we were expected to stay and continue to pay for an apartment with no air while having to travel to another place during the day just to stay cool! I would say this was just a problem for us but our neighbors directly under us moved out for the exact same problem. These are not luxury apartments! They were thrown up quickly and it shows in how quickly they are falling apart.
Brand new. Absolutely love it. Very spacious floorplans. Huge bathrooms. Staff very friendly and maintenance very fast.
