The Flats at Minor Park

Raised the rent 100 out the blue , changed management nobody had a clue took forever to fix my place when putting multiple request in have you waiting months … maintenance sucks !!!

Moving in was a breeze, even around New Years. Natasha in the office was an angel and helped us with every question we had within a timely manner. Gorgeous, spacious apartment with a reasonable price.

Just a heads up, I’ve been living in this place for 18mo, my apartment got flooded 7 times since, they never done anything thorough that time, last flooding was yesterday 11/7, the maintenance guy refused to come and take care of the issue unless I was home, when I called the office EMILY the manager told me they don’t have a key to enter, I said I understand and asked her to get a lock box for me to drop my key so they can make a copy, she said I will not buy a lock box “you need to come during service hours” but I work 7-6 and have no ability to be there during your time, she said “well take off work”…. So again I am left to clean the sewer from my floor, all this going on even though she knows I have funguses growing in my carpet from past flooding and minimal work to fix the issue…. Definitely don’t care about the teanents… add to that that there are drug dealers living in the complex. Do yourself a favor and don’t move here…

Never had the chance to move into the property. Everything seemed fine at first the the office told us there would be a unit we could move into but that never happened. Never received an email that explained why and no one would respond back to me. Don't rely on this management team because there is no guarantee that they will save a place for you or even respond. I am extremely unhappy with how unprofessional this whole process was in the end.

I have arrived to come look at the apartments and they look horrible in real life! I didn’t even get out the car. Drove around just to see if it was just the front that looked a mess but it was the whole complex! Employees were super nice, just not the buildings!

I love this property it's clean, quiet and a very beautiful complex. The staff is great and I love my apartment. I didn't think I would since I never lived in an apartment coming home to this little piece of heaven everyday is a dream come true!!! great place for season adults. So quiet I forget there are children in this complex and I love that. Come by and check us out.

I have a lived here since the day the week they opened. The new staff are just the cat's pajamas! All the neighbors have been talking , as we always do ;) and everyone here is so happy with the new staff! They managed to find 3 powerhouse woman to run the office and let me tell you the difference it makes! When I need a question answered or if I am putting in a service request the staff just jumps at the chance to help me. It's like they are doing it for themselves! I think I'll be staying here another 30 years if I can! Keep up the good work !

This is one of the BEST properties I have lived at!!! The office staff cares so much for it's residents! They always take the time to listen to my concerns and help in everyway they can!! Bending over backwards is an understatement!!!!!! I love their maintenance man, Thomas !! He does the job right the first time and is such a great guy! I trust him in my apartment when I'm not home. He gets the job done quickly and correctly. I read the reviews from the old staff and I am glad I looked past them and gave this place a chance! I have no idea what is was like before, but, I know what its like now!! I don't know who put this team together but BRAVO!!! You got it right!!!! The property is beautiful! They have really large open green areas , a pool, tennis court, playgrounds, fitness center, and nature everywhere! I sit on my deck a lot and almost every night I can see deer playing around the woods. I have finally found a HOME! Thank you and keep up the good work!

If you like to shower with freezing cold water then 3 seconds later with boiling hot water, this is your place! A 10 minute shower shouldn't become 30 minutes because you spent 20 of those adjusting the water temperature, and even then it continues to change regardless. I have addressed this issue in 4 different occasions, 2 years ago when we first moved in, 1 year ago, 6 months ago, and about 1 month ago while we were in the process of signing the new lease. I last spoke with assistant manager Rachel. I figured the new administration would actually do something about it. By the way, I have not received a call regarding this issue, nor has a technician stoped by to inspect. This is not a budget place but you do get budget customer service. On a side note, be prepared to not know how much you're paying for rent until it is actually time to pay. They have a new system that they now allocate the water expense to all the same sizes appartments, so your rent can vary by as much as $50. Even though this has been in place only since March, that's what I was told by a guy in the office. By the way, the date you're supposed to have the letter stating how much you're actually paying is expected to be delivered by the first of the month... The sames day rent comes due. In my opinion (and many others'), very poor system.

If you are looking for a friendly, nice apartment complex, this is the place! It was my first apartment and the people at the office are so sweet and care sincerely about you. The prices are great! Always have great deals! I applied at the right time and got $250 off my rent each month for a year! Offers like that happen all the time, just gotta come at the right time! Neighbors are great! The new renovation inside the rooms are GORGEOUS! My friend used to live at the old Flats and trust me, it’s a huge difference! They are gorgeous, and very big! Pet friendly! There even is a dog park! How cool is that?? I highly recommend this place! Enjoy the new and improved Flats!

I finally found a beautiful apartment that I can afford! Added bonus the staff is amazing! I'm so excited to spend the summer here with my friends! There's a pool, soccer field, playground, fitness center and they always have something fun for their events that they do for the residents! Summer is going to be awesome here!!!!!

Usually, I don't write reviews. For this place I am so happy, I have to brag on them!!!!!! Don't get me wrong the apartments are gorgeous!!!! But, that is not the reason for this review. The maintenance team here are Class A!!! ANYTIME I have an issue in the apartment, here they come to save the day!!!!!! They are so kind, respectful and knowledgeable. You don't see that very often! A team that truly cares ?! Where have you been all my life!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Flats!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooo glad I moved here!

I have lived in a lot of apartments in a lot of different cities! This one if my favorite!! We are so happy we chose this community! I love it! I come home every day and take my dog for walk, they have so many open areas to take him, and they have a Bark Park!!!! I love that it is off the road by a couple blocks, kills all the traffic noise. This place is one the best I have stayed and can't believe the prices considering these are completely updated apartments! Not to mention we came in on an amazing special! Thank you to the staff at The Flats!!

I LOVE living here!!! My work orders are always done so quickly and correctly! My apartment is so well taken care of! I has read the reviews of this complex before and they were not very good. Since I have been here it has been nothing but wonderful!!! The girls in the office are so on point and knowledgeable about the community, and ALWAYS willing to help me however they can ! I don't know what it was like before, but I know what it's like now!! BRAVO guys!!!!!!!!!

This place is such a great place to live! My tickets are usually done within 24 hours!!!! Name another community that can say that?!! No where I have lived before! All the worries I had about apartment community living have been dashed! Thank you Flats for giving me a beautiful remodeled apartment for very inexpensive!

This place used to have a terrible reputation, but my how its changed!!!! The apartment renovations they did are incredible, cant even tell it's the same place! I plan on living here as long as I can!!! It is a calm and nice area, an very open and spread out. They have everything for our family to do from pool, tennis courts, fitness center. There is no where like it! Their staff is so nice and friendly to us every time we stop by the office! They really take care of us and their maintenance team is top notch!!!!

I was out searching for an apartment and got a chance and I got the pleasure of meeting the staff! I had a 10 minute conversation w/their Maintenance man, Thomas and he bragged all about the property and the people he has the pleasure of working with . He was a great guy! He was not wrong about the staff in the office, they were so very kind and helpful to me. I didn't get to live at the property, unfortunately because of a change in my job and relocation but I wish I could have!

This is a beautiful property with amazing people in the office! They are always friendly and helpful! I can’t wait until I can play some tennis!

We moved into The Flats at Minor Park about six months ago and we couldn't be happier! Our apartment was newly remodeled with beautiful brand new black appliances and really pretty wood laminate in the kitchen and bathrooms! We have three bedrooms, two baths with a wood burning fireplace and a large patio door looking out back. Everything is just so fresh and bright!! But our apartment itself is not even our favorite part about living here. We truly feel like we are living on a park. The grounds are huge with beautiful mature trees and green grass. We have every amenity we could ever imagine from a huge swimming pool, to a community grill area, a super cute Bark Park for our fur babies, a complimentary coffee bistro, to an exercise room with all the newest fitness equipment that even has TV's on the wall! We don't have children but there is a beautiful brand new playground, a soccer field and tennis courts to keep all the kids here happy. Management always goes above and beyond to make sure that we are happy. If we have a maintenance issue it is taken care of in less than 24 hours. If we have a package delivered to the office they bring it to us. This winter we had an emergency that required us to leave our apartment *we are seniors*. Jessica, the manager sent someone over immediately to clear a path for us to get to our cars. A service and SO appreciated! But above all, our most favorite aspect of our apartment is our patio and the view that we have from out back!! No matter what kind of sky we have, it is always beautiful. We love sitting out back, in the warmer weather of course watching the birds and the occasional deer family that wanders through! All in all we just could not be happier living at The Flats at Minor Ridge!! It is by far the best apartment living that we've encountered over the years! Thank you!!

Moved in have had no major problems.My apartment was clean nice new appliances.Its a good place for a college student to live the rent is very reasonable. Very friendly staff!!!!

The Flats has been very good to us in our 2 bedroom. The inside of the apartment is newly renovated and everything works great. The outside hallways could use some better upkeep but we have been told that they will be renovated later this year. The management is also friendly and receptive. Their rent prices are also very nice.

Yuk! Not even one star. This place is garbage. POORLY ran by staff and corporate. Had a car drive thru my shower and they didn’t do any repairs for two months, after being promised I didn’t have to pay rent while repairs were being made. Took me to court for the two months of rent. They are liars and absolutely deceitful. I have a friend who lives there also, he has had water damage 4 months and still hasn’t been repaired. They don’t fix anything, give you the run around, majority of the office staff is like a revolving door. They ignore you. It’s all good though.. what goes around comes around. DO NOT RENT here regardless. I have never had one issue with any complex. This place was a hand full of you know what. NASTY, TRASHY place. Swipe left, lol. Oh and my water can never be regulated. It’s either scolding hot or cold for at least 10 minutes

I moved to this community about 6 months ago. Management here has been great attending to my every need. Very people oriented and on top of their game. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and can't beat their rent amounts!

Im a struggling student paying 700 per month, ive had to take in a roomate to keep up, i have a full time job and school. Not the best apt complex but a good area, need alil more updating

Minor Ridge is not the place to be. I have lived here for three years under 3 different managers. There is no light in the parking lot and I replace the lights in the hall my self. My bathroom ceiling leaks,my screen comes off if you open my patio.My kitchen window, has been pushed in I have waited for them to replace the screen for 2 years. They only care about my rent which I have NEVER been late on. I don't even know who Mainteance is anymore because they constantly change. New management promised change but nothing.Stuck in this dump til March 2015.
