A sun-filled patch of desert surrounded by mountains, Palm Springs naturally developed as a resort town. Tourism is still the biggest industry, with a variety of hotels, events, and the Palm Springs Convention Center welcoming thousands to the area. Popular events include the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade.
Of course, living in a Palm Springs apartment means you'll have easy access to these festivals and events. But you'll also enjoy everything this spot in the Sonoran Desert offers -- its hot springs, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and the beautiful Mount San Jacinto State Park. If you enjoy hiking, you'll love the Cactus to Clouds Trail, which leads to the top of the San Jacinto Peak from Palm Springs -- to an elevation of 10,300 feet.
Palm Springs is roughly an hour southeast of Los Angeles, and has long been a getaway for celebrities and movie stars.

Property Ratings at The Float
don't be mislead by the comment a lady named diane left. she never lived there. she works for the new owners that had the previous tenants leave, with no where to go so they can remodel the apts and jack up the rent from 725, to a 4 digit number. major cases of bed bugs , rats, and roaches were a major concern however, termites were also evident in the spring time when they would drop from the ceiling in the walk way to the laundry room. these apartment were called "SAGE BRUSH". the remodel on the apartments is not one to trust if you are familiar with them though, sage brush was never in the news for any violations. that doesn't mean there weren't any. maybe this remodel may in fact be what this apt needs but ill never go back only based on what I know and seen.
The location is the best, the views are beautiful in the area. I walk to the grocery stores, clothing stores, and restaurants. The bus stops and trolley are steps away from the apartment. There are hotels in walking distance for family and friends when they visit. We have a great elementary school in the area. The building is not the best but the location is and we have a pool also it gets very hot in beautiful Palm Springs. Diana O.
