Indianapolis is the thriving capital city of the state of Indiana — as well as the most populated. Nicknamed the Crossroads of America, Indianapolis is the well-known center for several major interstates that connect locals to the rest of the country. This commuter-friendly city is also home to the Indianapolis International Airport, a modern hub for national and international travelers. With an abundance of affordable apartments for rent, the city of Indianapolis has more than enough to offer both its residents and visitors alike.
Residents can enjoy a performance from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Hilbert Circle Theatre, cheer on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, and peruse the stores in Circle Centre Mall. Locals enjoy admiring the wildlife at the Indianapolis Zoo, exploring the exhibitions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and hiking the trails at Eagle Creek Park.

Property Ratings at The Fort Apartments
Ashleigh in the rental office is amazing! Very helpful, but had obviously been fighting an uphill battle with some of her colleagues. It's true, the pool, hot tub, basketball court all closed for most of the summer. There was no functional treadmill for the whole summer. None of these issues were her fault. There is also construction of an entire building that takes up a whole city block going on right across the street. There have been many changes with staffing including maintenance, which has not helped facilitate the smooth running of this community. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to improve tenent comfort. Unfortunately, if changes aren't made, they might lose the best employee that serves this community.

Pool has been closed all summer and the management is crappy after you sign lease. They sell leases not manage properties

We just moved out of our place at Fort Apartments, and it was bittersweet. We had such a great experience; the place is nice, great amenities, and best of all the area is so fun - and it will be getting even better over the next few years. Moving out was painless and they were very fair with our security deposit refund. I would strongly recommend this place, affordable and worth every penny.
Great place if you have a dog over 50lbs, only place in town that allows dobbies!
Great place to live. Awesome amenities and staff. Very little noise.
The Fort Apartment community is very nice and the people are friendly. The office team and maintenance staff are great. The only real issue I have is with the noise. The noise level within the building is o.k. The doors are very heavy so when people come in and out of the building it shakes the walls (even on the third floor ). There is a railroad track near the complex and the trains run on that track all of the time ( even as early as 3 am ). I am a light sleeper so unfortunately I have to close my windows at night so my sleep won't be interrupted. The apartment community isn't closed off to the public. People from other apartment community's within our area drive very fast on the main street in the community. It's a long street and it seem as though their drag racing. It is very dangerous and I'm afraid someone will get hit one day. I hear a lot of police sirens because the police are always pulling or chasing a driver down 56th St. Other than the noise level everything else is great at the Fort Apartments.
I have lived here since they opened. The surrounding area makes life easy and fun. The workout facility and the clubhouse are really nice! We are looking forward to the pool opening on the summer! I have lived in apartments before and swore I would never do it again, till I saw what all these had to offer, I changed my mind. The only set back is the sound seems to travel from the apartment above. Never any others though. It is not bad and has never woke us up, we just know when the guy above us is playing a video game. The staff is great and if there is any type of malfunction of literally anything in the apartment, and the service crew is there in no time. A great place to live!
