Between Jupiter and West Palm Beach sits the city of Palm Beach Gardens, a suburban community just minutes inland from the coastline. The Gardens Mall is one of the main focal points of the city, which draws shoppers from all around the region. The numerous golf courses are also quite popular with locals and visitors alike.
The local schools perform quite well, and numerous attractions like the Playmobil Fun Park cater specifically to children, adding to the appeal for families. Nowhere in town is more than thirty minutes from the beach, and water-centric activities like boating, fishing, and surfing are common pastimes. Interstate 95 connects Palm Beach Gardens to the outside world, making it easy to traverse South Florida quickly and reach Miami within ninety minutes.

Property Ratings at Turnbury at Palm Beach Gardens
If something breaks, good luck. Took 6 months to replace a leaking AC. Maintenance requests get closed without any work being done.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Common areas are dirty and rundown. You will find trash and debris throughout the community that has been left there for weeks, along with used needles. We have found food and trash in the pools. If you put in a work order it will take at least 2 months for it to be addressed. The property is constantly understaffed. Anyone you speak to cannot wait to move out. There have even been residents that break their lease because conditions were so poor. Please do yourself a favor and do not move here. You will not get what you’re paying for. You will get an ever changing staff with terrible customer service and a run down place to live.

All good reviews are left by staff members and tenants trying to get discounts. This place has motivated me to buy a house more than anything else ever has. This place is disgusting. Unbelievable amounts of hidden fees. Trash piles up while you pay $62 a month for trash removal. Our garbage disposal hasn’t worked in months but the day the rent is late you have a notice on your door before lunch. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from here as you can.
I lived in this complex for 5 years. I recently moved and they refused to return my security deposit. This place has many issues. Including roaches, rats and garbage problems. The air units are super old and you will develop allergies. Don’t be fooled by the location. Don’t rent here if you appreciate your peace of mind.
We have lived in the apartment not even a month and we have already had so many issues. Leaking pipes, poor quality maintenance, argumentative property manager, and the list goes on. Save yourself the headache.
Stay away ! Every bad review is true. You pay a high price for absolutely nothing . Trash hall over . Holes in exterior roof . Took months for my AC to be addressed and it was made out like I was annoying them. 9 months in still gets hot in the middle of the night (no sheets still sweating kind of hot) they doooo nothingggggg! They give you attitude at the office. Fees and charges applied with no consistency. The list goes on and on . Can’t wait too see what they pull when I move out .
These apartments are absolutely terrible. They are roach infested and don’t do anything about it. Also, my air stopped working for a month, and they didn’t do anything about it until I threatened not to pay my rent. The vent in my bathroom constantly leaks water and the maintenance guys just look at and blame the people above us. Do not waste your time or money on these apartments.
This place is an absolute nightmare with the worst customer service/maintenance I have ever experienced. Takes months to get anything fixed, even if what you need fixed is fowl water spilling out of your appliances. They wouldn't come help me with my slimy water filled kitchen until I scooped the smelly water into a glass, walked it to their office, and made them smell it. My water heater broke and flooded my entire apartment -it was difficult to even get help with that. Our washer/dryer never worked and they never fixed. Complete lack of communication in the office. They change their own policies (ex: in what ways they will accept rent) on a whim, which at one point literally cost me more money. The amenities are an unclean disaster, property is dark, trash is not picked up regularly, I could go on and on. Please don't live here. This was the first place my husband and I lived together in . . . the things we endured at this property are now hilarious stories of the past, but it took as a while to get there. Total horror show.
This place is a horror show. The beautiful, superficial renovations will draw you in but the customer service and management is beyond horrendous.
STAY AWAY WORST MAINTANANCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We lived here 2 and a half years & this place was terrible, we loved the area but the office is a pain to deal with! Stay far far away! Our AC unit flooded our bedroom and it was not properly taken care of by neither maintenance nor the carpet cleaning company, no dehumidifiers were placed just a big fan and when they came and got the fan, the floors were still soaked. I found mold under the carpet and all along the bottom of the baseboards. All over clothes that were inside the closet. My daughter and I are both allergic to mold and have been sick since this began. Of course maintenance won’t admit that it’s mold so they came and PAINTED OVER IT. I told priscilla in the office that we needed to be moved to a different unit because of our mold allergies we cannot live in an apartment that has any trace of mold. No one should have to live in that, allergic or not. No actions were taken by her to assist us with transferring to a different apartment, and we were expected to live in those conditions. So happy to be getting out of there this week. Save your money and go elsewhere. I could go deeper into more issues we had while living here but I’d be writing all day if I did.
My experience at Turnbury has been great! Thank you Kayleen and office team for efficient and great support! Kayleen showed my husband and I pleanty of patience during our search to make sure we were happy with our home. I also would like to thank Kenny from the maintenance team for being so kind and fast. He helped me with my garbage disposle and he was so knowledgeable! Everything here is clean and I am truly impressed with everything. So happy I chose to lease with Turnbury at Palm Beach Gardens!
STAAAAAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! Stay FAR FAR AWAY! After just an awful experience living here, I decided to renew my lease because it was too much to move- WORST MISTAKE- I ended the lease 3 months after. There was a shooting in the community and they didn’t even send an email to address the issue. This place was so sketchy that I never left the house at night or even go check the mail if it wasn’t mid day. I HAD MOLD growing in my bathroom and it took them 2 weeks to come, I CALLED THE office everyday. And the office staff ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST. AND I JUST MOVED OUT and they want to CHARGE me for not cleaning the carpet and paint even for the outside of the appartment. READ THE REVIEWS AND LISTEN. DO NOT MOVE HERE, PAY A LITTLE MORE, the HEADACHES ARE NOT WORTH IT.
The newly undertaken renovations and the overall clean up that they have started in a relatively short period of time is a very pleasant surprise. I've been a resident for 18 months now and I've loved it since day 1. The new owners and management team are very responsive to me on every level. They communicate and are always making sure that as a tenant, I'm happy and satisfied with everything they do. I'm in a 2/2 and it is plenty spacious. The rent is very reasonable for this area and I am very happy to call Turnbury my home. A. Blair
Great location, great management. Management is friendly, cooperative, and THEY COMMUNICATE. They make sure they are doing the right thing for you, and that everyone is on the same page. The manager himself is phenomenal regarding customer service, and his staff follows suit. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and knowledgable. The management is the shining centerpiece of the fountains. The location is good, very near to a shopping center. A green market is practically in your backyard on the weekends. Not so close to "bustling" areas you feel on top of it, but close enough that its not a hassle to go anywhere. The buildings are older but well maintained. My 1BR/1Ba is spacious in the right places. In the end I moved to The Fountains for the reasonable rent prices, and good location. I will probably end up staying at the Fountains because of the excellent management. You are treated like a person, not a number or "just another tenant". Truly a rare breed. 6/5 stars if I could. Not enough good things to say about the Property manager and his team.
Living at The Fountains has been a challenge from the beginning (October 2015) but I thought it would get better and sadly it has not. Initially they delayed in getting me paperwork and charged me hundreds of dollars, all non-refundable for nonsense. As this was explained to me at the last possible minute I had little options. The first two weeks I was here the dishwasher was broken, the dryer did not work and the refrigerator was rusty and certainly not “gourmet” as advertised. My bathroom faucet and electrical outlet stopped working within a week of being here. These and I use the term loosely “newly renovated” units had/have tons of problems. Every morning for months the sprinklers cross the sidewalks so it is impossible to leave without getting a dose of well water no matter how fast you run. The corporate offices have even ignored my calls but then again I am not surprised by that fact as it takes multiple calls and many trips to my unit to accomplish anything. For an apartment complex to use the excuse that we have 500 units therefore……..fill in the blank is inexcusable. Perhaps if things were fixed properly and the first time around then there would be time to make all the repairs needed, just a suggestion. To give credit where it is due the maintenance department does react quickly to emergencies however it had taken me months to get things fixed that were wrong from the day I moved in. The only time they responded was when I threatened to post my experiences. Due to incompetence by office staff/maintenance staff and corporate offices not returning my call, I could not stay quiet any longer as this past week my request to reschedule a maintenance call (non-emergency) due to being home very sick (another repair from when I moved in) which was ignored and decided by other that work on my patio (which I keep locked) would not wake me even though my bedroom window is next to the patio and I have a dog who would no doubt bark. Just another example of the ridiculous things that make no sense. I have delayed in making any public statements due to the fact that I did not want any additional troubles when trying to get much needed repairs but then I thought that if I could save someone else the aggravation then I should say something because I wish I knew before moving to The Fountains. After all, could it get much worse than having to still deal with issues 8 months later??
I agree with the other reviewer about the lack of parking(the refuse to assign spaces resident vs guest and therefore restrict the number of cars per unit). There is a MOPED which has been parked in the exact same spot for 2 MONTHS in a very coveted area in front of the building. The grounds keeping is non existent. They cut the grass once every 3 weeks maybe and THATS it. The 'grass' in front of my building ha 90% weeds and looks horrific and is a foot tall and there are about 20 ant piles completely lining the pathway into my building. I have told the office multiple times and nothing has been done. They do not fertilize or feed the grass or use the pest control that we are REQUIRED to pay for monthly. I agree that the valet trash service (you are REQUIRED to pay $30 a MONTH for this) is a joke. They guy picks and chooses what he takes and I there is no way of designating your recycling items so I am forced to haul all of that down myself. The bricks on the walkways are all loose and a tripping hazard and there are numerous pet owners not picking up their dog feces and it is never remotely enforced or attempted. I am living here solely due to its proximity to my work. I am embarrassed to have any visitors due to the abysmal appearance of the property. I honestly don't know what the numerous staff do all day because they do not answer phones or respond to any complaints. They have also been 'redoing' the microscopic gym for over a month with no end in sight. They advertise 'storage units' for rent which are literally disgusting leaking damp holes under the building stairwells. Save yourself the hassle and live some place else!!
Emergency Maintenance doesn't answer calls, Breed restrictions aren't enforced... animal feces all over property, parking is scarce all over the property - property is under-lit and very dark, "Unique Features" are unreal, built in 1973 and terribly maintained so expect leaks. Enjoy valet trash that picks and chooses which trash and when they pick up trash. Wi-Fi isn't a feature that comes standard. Check out the putting green and tennis court before you consider that an "amenity" plus the game room doesn't exist anymore. Watch out for glass on their "basketball court." Average prices, nothing special, try another community... you'll be happier.
It was easier to justify this place at a reduced rent. Like mentioned above, rent does increase which is to be expected, but the jump is significant. Maintenance requests are taken care of and thats gotten better but typically not done right the first time. Look around the property before renting. Terrible parking situation and complex needs more lights - least safe community of all the rental communities n the area. Come back in a year or two when they've had a chance to get ahead of the maintenance requests... roof leaks, bricks need to be replaced, animal feces and oversized animals everywhere, tenants who don't care.
I like the fountains. it is a kids friendly community. My kids love it. my apartment is nice and clean, lower floor, 2 bedrooms and the Ac works nice.
It's OK. I've had some issues because the place is old and things need replaced sometimes but they do handle it as things come up. I don't know if this is standard in apartment complexes, but each year the rent is raised by approximately $150. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear the neighbors and they hear you but that seems to be the case in most apartments.
I absolutely love my apartment in the Fountains. I recently moved out another apartment and could not be happier. The condition of the last apartment was atrocious. But the Fountains uplifted my spirit. Now, no place is perfect, and it may have some issues, but the fact is that the Fountains is willing to fix everything. Stepping into the apartment we got fresh paint, new carpet, and a friendly atmosphere. I couldnt be happier.
The Fountains, located in Palm Beach Gardens, was originally built in 1973. It was previously known as Tanglewood. It was recently bought by Robins Property Associates, and this company is in the process of doing many things to improve the community. Some of these improvements are re-doing the roofs on all of the buildings, expanding the gym, and perhaps in the near future to hold community events. Rent prices are great for the area, but the apartments are nothing fancy. If you are looking to live in a nice community and don't need the fancy wood and granite, then this is a great place.
The Fountains is really just what you make of it. It's a bit pricey for the amount of living space, and management changed without much notice causing confusion with payment and other abrupt changes. Not many complaints, like I said, it's decent.
We have lived in the Fountians in Palm Beach Gardens for 3 years and we are very happy here. There is a designated area for our puppies to run around leash free! There are three pools in this community and they are kept up very nicely. We are in walking distance of multiple parks for the kids and I've always felt safe here!
