Couldn’t ask for a better home. The residence is clean, peaceful, and well designed. I love the location it’s close to Whole Foods and my gym which is perfect.

I recently moved to the Francis, and I genuinely love it here. From day one, everything has been seamless, and I already feel at home. Big thanks to Tiara and Ty for being so helpful throughout the entire process - they made everything easy and stress-free. Also really appreciate the maintenance team and concierge - everyone’s been super responsive, friendly, and on top of things. The whole vibe here is peaceful, clean, and just feels right. I’m so happy I chose this place!!!

overall amazing amenities, staff are very kind, and everyone is always willing to help. the only problem was the application process that was the most tedious thing in the world. however, it was worth it!

Unfortunately, the last year of living here as not been enjoyable. Residents partying loudly at all hours of the night. Trash out in the hallways at all hours, including days we do not have trash pick up scheduled. Stains in the hallway carpet due to this. Limiting when we can use the amenities, I personally think the clubhouse should be available to residents at any hour with the amount we have to pay to live here and with residents working jobs at different hours sometimes you may need to use the facilities if you are scheduled for a shift outside of a 9-5. Light fixtures falling out of the ceiling due to upstairs neighbor dropping things on their floor. Security guards/concierge letting guests in the building without checking them in, when the policy is for each resident to fill out a form for guests to check in upon arrival. This place could use a revamp, and quickly. It's labeled as upscale living, but at the current moment I don't feel the building lives up to what it once was.

Living at The Francis is fantastic. From the amenities to lovely staff, I wouldn’t want to rent anywhere else! The ease of living here, in Uptown where I can access a variety of things is one of the best parts.

Great! The front desk staff is really great and accommodating. The location of the building could not be better and the amenities are superb.

I LOVE living here so far and the concierge people have been top notch but everyone at the leasing office has been more incompetent than the next one. They made my life a living hell before I moved in yesterday. Each person telling me a different thing, And then lying stating they didn’t say it when I have their emails in writing. I’ve never been more gaslit in my life. The entire leasing office has disrespected me more in my 55 years than ever before. Each and every one needs a serious training on how to deal with perspective tenants and customer service.

I’ve lived here for 15 months and highly recommend this apartment, especially if you’re new to Charlotte. The rooms, amenities, location, concierge, leasing office, and maintenance team are all outstanding and consistently exceed expectations. However, it’s challenging for EV owners, as charging stations are limited and extremely slow, making it difficult to find an available spot. I hope the community will soon expand and upgrade the charging facilities to match their otherwise impeccable standards.

The Francis is the best apartment community in uptown! Great location and lots of variety to choose from in floorplans. Catherine at the concierge is so perfect for her position. She makes living here a delight. Tiara in the leasing office was exceptional. I love living here!

I love living here the friendliness of the team, the convience to everything and the security makes it the ideal place to live! I am looking forward to the pool opening so that I have the opportunity to meet my neighbors.

Love this building & the staff! Amenities are always clean, maintenance is very quick to respond. Can’t beat the location. Would recommend to anyone looking for uptown living!

I've enjoyed my stay. The view is amazing especially at sunrise and sunset. The amenities are nice but I wish the community room was open 24hrs like the gym.

I am so lucky with our community. Everyone is friendly and I love all the pets. The concierge is the best at their job and keeps this place running. The facility is also always so clean.

For my first two months all and any help I needed and making my moving process as smooth as possible by the entire team. The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

I've been living in my apartment for 1 year now, and it's been a very positive experience overall. The community is friendly and welcoming, which has made settling in much easier. The location is convenient, with easy access to local amenities and transportation. The apartment itself is comfortable and well-maintained, providing a great environment to come home to after a busy day. However, a major challenge is the limited availability of EV chargers. They are often in high demand, making it difficult to charge my vehicle as needed. If this issue is not addressed, I may have to consider relocating in the future.

Tiara in the leasing office was great! She is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I met with her on Wednesday and am moving in on Saturday! She showed me apartments, told me exactly what I needed to do to get in one, and helped me with the orientation process. Thank you!

Love the Francis! Everything is truly amazing from the views, apartment, amenities to the employees! Love all the events the apartment host. The view from the pool is truly amazing can’t wait for sunny warm days out there

Staff is very professional and knowledgeable in offering residents an apartment community that truly feels like home once you come through the doors. Building is well maintained and staff in every department here is on top of any situation that might arise.

The Francis staff, shoutout to Tiara, Catherine, and Claudia, have been nothing but professional and helpful during my move in. Tiara was super helpful and knowledgeable working with me to find the right floor plan and view. Claudia exhibited empathy and probity to help resolve a minor issue with my move in. Catherine has been a great resource and helping logistically get settled in my unit. I look forward to enjoying my new apartment and look forward to being a resident here.

Love living here and just renewed the lease, it’s everything you could ever wish for and everyone and everything is so nice! Close to everything, and great community events.

Love the location but the parking is not good. It is owned by a third party and they are not responsive. Neighbors smoke so much weed that it smells in my apartment.

Great community, amazing staff, very convenient location with walking distance to uptown restaurants, sports venues, and a Whole Foods next door.

The Francis has surpassed our expectations! Staff is so friendly and the building is very nice. The location cannot be beat. Whole Foods, nail salon, and CVS are on the ground floor. This is such a plus!

I love this place. I would choose it again. The location is perfect. Very close to everything, access to the train, restaurants and market. Quite clean, quiet. The common areas are incredible.

Staffs are nice, always welcome. maintenence department is efficient and communication is comfortable. Except for loud noise sometime outside, the community is good.

We had looked at several places but knew when we walked in to The Francis and met Allyson that this was going to be it! Allyson was so knowledgeable and really took the time to walk us around, show us the exact unit we would be renting and answer any questions we had. . Even on moving day which can always be stressful was actually so easy and having the freight elevator made it so easy for our movers! We are so excited to finally have the perfect place to call home!

The amenities are amazing at the Francis! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Love everything about this apartment. The light rail is right there which makes it so convenient as well. The apartment is so spacious as well and love the valet trash service

Absolutely love our apartment! Great window views, gym view and equipment is great, concierge is friendly and mail system is great. Only complaint would be the parcel parking passes, ours never work so we have to continually get temporary passes. Overall though, love The Francis!

This apartment complex is located in one of the most convenient areas of Charlotte. The ground floor features a Whole Foods, Starbucks, and CVS, making daily errands effortless. Additionally, the light rail station on the second floor provides seamless access to the rest of the city, which is a major advantage for commuters and those who prefer public transportation. While the location is nearly perfect, one major drawback is the limited availability of EV chargers. For such a modern and upscale complex, the number of chargers is surprisingly insufficient. This often leads to competition among residents, creating unnecessary frustration for those who rely on electric vehicles. It would be great if management could address this issue and expand EV charging capacity to meet the growing demand. Overall, the location and amenities are excellent, but the lack of sufficient EV infrastructure detracts from an otherwise outstanding experience.

I enjoy living at the Francis, great Community Manager and staff however; the parking and visitor situation is not the best for guests. I don’t like having to get up every time I have company to let them in. And residents can only have two guests in the amenity space without the option to rent it out. You’re only allowed 5 parking passes per month with limited access. I even purchased 10 additional passes upon moving in and they’ve never worked, so basically a waste of my money. Found a parking lot attendant in the parking garage one day and explained the situation to him, he gave me more passes that still did not work. So, it’s a lovely place but I’m personally not a fan of certain things.

Love it here! Very nice and clean but the highway can sometimes be loud, i would pay extra not to face it. Other wise best place to live ever

The building location is great, building is clean, and amenities are well maintained. However, the leasing staff is delayed in responses and not eager to help.

This is my first time living in the U.S., and Charlotte offers one of the best urban locations. However, for EV owners, the charging infrastructure in the parking area is lacking. There’s only one Level 2 charger available, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The best decision I’ve made this year! This is my first apartment and I have all the amenities I need. The building is clean and the service at the front desk is lovely.

My first apartment in the U.S. has been a great experience, offering a wonderful living environment that I’m very satisfied with. However, as a Tesla owner, I often face challenges with charging since the designated EV spots are frequently occupied. This inconvenience has been a recurring issue, making it difficult to keep my car charged efficiently. While the apartment community itself is pleasant, the lack of available EV charging solutions has added some frustration to an otherwise positive experience. I hope the management will consider expanding the charging infrastructure to accommodate the increasing number of electric vehicle owners.

Cristina and Catherine have gone above and beyond to make my stay here enjoyable. They are good listeners and consistently kind. I would never know if they are having a bad day because of the smiles a the love that they show towards residents. I must say all of the workers here have a great attitude.
