I did not have mail box or gate code or remote key access for over a month and half. since moving in. I had to go into office multiple times to complain.. after complaining so many times they finally rekeyed my mailbox and got my remote to work and my number to manually enter in. Month in.. Once I started seeing alive roaches I immediately put in a work order which was closed out again no communication at all had to go to the office to find out why my order was closed out and what they were going to do about it.. they were going to schedule a spray a week went by pest control finally came in to spray only did hallway and kitchen not were the roaches were coming from.. behind the oven and refrigerator I asked for him to spray behind the appliances he said no and left. I went to the office right after he left to ask for something else to be done they then scheduled the bombing for the apartment… had to be on a Thursday which is veryinconvenient given my work schedule. They came did the bombing I waited 10 days as they advised no one followed up with me so I had to go back into office because the apartment became over infested with roaches still. Now living less than 3 months still have the roach problem the bathroom is having issues not flushing right plus the caulking around the shower toilets and sinks etc. are separating or cracking. , there is a major leak under my kitchen sink which has caused my water usage bill to go up, there is now water damage which they could have avoided had they addressed the issue when I put the work order in according to the immediate issue the water leak should have been addressed right away.. I have Placed work orders in weeks ago… nothing has been address. no one has followed up.. I went to the office yesterday to once again complain about the problems was told they would follow up to have maintaince in to fix problems today and would add in the pest control to come spray again but would send me an email to confirm…. NO EMAIL or any form of communication has occurred. Just had pest control come in unexpectedly once again was so rude I have 5 kids pup while asking for him to wait a moment so I could move items out of the way so he could spray he got an attitude only spray the hallway and said they would reschedule. It’s now past 5 no one has come to fix the apartment issues. I am so beyond frustrated I am a single mom, dealing with all these issues HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING INTO THIS PLACE.

Horrible horrible staff and complex! You see signs that say “smoke free apartments” but you get the absolute opposite. New tenants moved in and smoke weed like no other, all the smell and smoke goes up to our apartment. Have been on them about getting it resolved but nothing has happened. Don’t care about their tenants and have made numerous complaints because we have a newborn.
I have lived here 2.5 years. It recently changed management from CWS Apartments to CAF Management. Communication from management since the change has been nearly non existent since the change. Security gates were open for 2 weeks with no explanation. Trash valey service was supposed to be new service that started according to flyer left at door, but it didn't start on time, and when a can showed up today, no further instructions provided. In addition, starting prior to new management, the so call "package lockers" is a random room with cubbies where packages are open to everyone and can be easily stolen. You can spend 15-30minutes looking for your package in that room. It's a joke. Half the time the sofware to open the door doesn't work and packages are left outside the door. My "rainfall showerhead" last year was replaced with $5 generic showerhead with promise to be replaced. I waited a year. When asked to finally replace it, I was told to buy my own and they would install it. I was also told they'd replace my cracked toilet, but after th showerhead incident, I'm scared to ask because they'll probably ask me to pay for that too. Lastly, newest neighbors are irresponsible dog owners. They bark all day, everyday. Car alarms going off multiple times a day. Now, the past month, people are parking in my spot all the time, which ever happened before. I was really happy here, but it seems since my rent got jacked up $300 a month it's slowly going downhill. I have a year left of this. Just praying housing/rental market corrects itself soon as I can get a place this place used to be. This morning 5/9, there was MAJOR NOISE being done by huge truck thing in the parking lot before 7AM. Received no notification/explanation. My rent was higher this month with no explanation or statement from the office or website portal. I'm getting EXTREMELY frustrated living here by the day. And absolutely no one answers the phones, returns emails or voice messages. It's like the entire management team has disappeared.
The complex is a nice place to live. The price is affordable, but I have been extremely un-impressed by the professionalism of the front staff. They are inaccurate with their quotes and are extremely difficult to reach when calling the front office. I have made several complaints and all I have received is a "Sorry for the inconvenience, but nothing I can do."
The community is beautiful inside and out. I was contacted after having maintenance issues and reassured that items will be taken care of. The office staff is friendly and helpful. It really feels like living in a resort and my kids say it’s like we’re on vacation here ??

This is a great place to live! The office staff and maintenance department are the best. We'll maintained complex and pet friendly. Has a very family oriented feel. It located prefectly near places to shop. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

This review is as of August 2018. PROS: Nice apartments on the INside since they were renovated. Office staff is helpful "enough". CONS: The grounds look awful. Over grown trees (not in a good way), overgrown bushes and shrubs. Trash in the parking lots. No green grass. The sidewalks and gravel areas are always messy. The Marquis website likes to describe the property as having "stunning grounds". Yeah, maybe a year after they opened but this property was built in the 90s and boy can you tell. They also don't have enough dumpsters on site so what happens is 3 buildings end up using one dumpster so it gets full and flows into the parking lot after a day or 2 so that's nice to look at all the time. The property as a whole is also not lit very well. The parking lots and sidewalks are very dark at night, they need to upgrade the lighting after all these years but im sure they don't have a budget for that either. This property has so much potential to look the cost of the rent but because of the lack of budget towards landscaping it looks its age. However if you don't care what the grounds and the outside of your apartment look like then you may enjoy it here. Its pretty quiet/safe at night and the office staff put on a smile so that's more than you can ask from a lot of apartment communities nowadays. Once you're in your apartment you can close the blinds as to not constantly witness the view of the overgrown landfill that is outside and you're set!
The apartments here are really nice and clean the employees in the front office are really helpful.we had a problem with the dishwasher machine so we told them and they fixed it immediately... It is a very good and very safe location.its like in the center of everything else. The arrowhead mall is super close...I will recommend Sierra apartment to my friends.
It's a great community, the office staff are friendly, I have been here for two years now and I plan on another three at least. I'm currently in a 1 bedroom but hope to move into a 2 bedroom soon.
The apartments here are really nice and clean the employees in the front office are really helpful we like the apartments so much we decided to extend are lease longer.
I enjoy living at Sierra, I have lived here for two years now, and will continue to live here for another three years. The community is great, and the management is friendly, fair, and on top of maintenance requests if there needed.
My husband and I have lived here for almost 6 mos. We really like the place for several reasons. 1. Any issues or repairs that need to be addressed are usually taken care of within 24 hours of the request. 2. The maintenance team is friendly, clean, and professional. 3. The grounds are professionally maintained and beautiful. 4. The place is generally quiet, we have only had one issue and it was handled swiftly. The above statements are definitely coming from experience. We are lifetime renters because we have moved a lot. So there is over 30 years of experience in our review. With that being said, there are some things that are irritating about Sierra. 1. There are 2 pools, the large one that is at the front of the property which is almost always kept in pristine condition for walk throughs and the other one. The other one is usually semi-dirty to almost green or if it is clean enough to swim in, then the locks are not undone. I realize that pools can be a hassle to maintain however, if there are 2 pools advertised then both should be use able. 2. Dog doo. There are stated consequences for residents who don't pick up there dogs stuff, but as many times as I've seen people with no bag waiting for their dog to finish its business, it leads me to believe that there's not too much enforcement going on.
I've been living here for over a year now. I have never had any issues with maintenance or the leasing office. That's exactly why I renewed my lease with them. This is a perfect place to live its walking distance to the stores, mall and even schools not to mention all the upgrades that are going on with the apartments as well as the pool area it looks awesome.
