Property Ratings at The Garrison
I know it looks like a cool building. But… Everything is broken, trash rooms are flooded, no mobile service, parking lot is full after 9 unless you spend extra $100 for covered parking. Management ignores service requests, are rarely in office and send financial threats via email. Train comes at 1am and 3am blaring their horns. Raccoons and other animals go through the open top dumpster at night. Walls and floors are thin. Elevators, when they work, are covered in garbage and/or animal waste. Amenities do not work, but you’ll still pay for them. Very nice look outside, very nice washing machines and dish washer, but that’s about it. If you tour the place, do yourself a favor. Tap the walls to see how thin they are, literally no insulation. Just drywall on stud. And see if you can open the security door to the apartment you your without using a key. You’ve been warned.
I have lived at the Garrison Apartment for 3 years. It has been a positive experience. The property manager Rae works to meet the needs of reach resident. Maintenance is friendly, polite and professional. When I call or stop by the office I am always greeted by my name and Rae is very helpful with any of my needs. I even referred my friends to live here! I will be renewing my lease for the 4th time. I am a very satisfied resident!
