The Gathering

This is a great place to live. I feel very safe and comfortable with the gathering. The employees are very nice and helping when I need something.

disappointed regarding the state of our apartment when we moved in, needed lots of work orders, but once everything was straightened out it was good

Its clean and the vibes are great. Everyone is pretty nice and the apartments are so spacious. The only thing that is a little annoying is that people but there reserved parking spots in front of our place.

I love the gathering and the homey vibe. this will be my second year living here and I wish I could stay forever!! so well planned out and rooms are huge, definitely recommend staying here your junior senior year

The staff at The Gathering have been nothing but helpful. Answering every question we ask no matter how trivial. I am so excited to live there in the upcoming semester.

The maintenance is lovely as they always come in a timely manner. The place is very spacious and you feel like you can have some separation from your roommates if needed.

My resident experience has been good all in all , me and my friend moved into the neighborhood and we feel safe , we love having a pool and rest area. Locally we’re in a good spot right by the stores and food . All in all I had a good experience

The community at The Gathering is so fun and welcoming with nice porches, amenities, your own room, and bathroom. My roommates and I have loved our experience here so far and recently renewed our lease.

there’s always a fee…for SOMETHING. i appreciate the amount of space but it feels like there’s always something going on. always. i can’t even break my lease.

These spaces are updated and spacious. The community has useful amenities and a great common area. Staff are extremely helpful and provide quick maintenance!

The gathering has been an amazing experience so far! staff is friendly and responsive. Units are very nice. It is close to the SU campus, while also having a great off-campus feel.

Super nice place to live nice environment, great staff, same day maintenance. Lacks parking spots for residents near home. Very nice amenities!

Do yourself a favor and don’t live here. My roommates and I moved into an apartment that was completely uncleaned with ruined furniture. Dirty dishes, scraped walls, bugs, everything you could imagine. After WEEKS of talking to management we finally got some sort of cleaning done. Nice please but the worst management I’ve ever worked with in my life. Save your money and live in UO or a house

The team is very responsive when we have issues in the unit. They are always putting on different events the community is safe and clean ! Community is very friendly

the neighborhood is quiet and clean, and i love having access to the game room and gym! There are so many things the community offers that I use on a regular basis.

Love it so far! I have not had any issues with my unit. Very quiet and can’t hear any noise from neighboring units! Very close to campus. Great experience!

I enjoy living here! There are many amenities that make this place really seem like a home. The three floors really create so much space for everything in the apartment, we spend time together and also have space to have alone time. It is definitely recommended to others!

I like the place it is quiet and really nice . The rooms and common areas are nice. The place is very close to the University of Salisbury. I the prices are relatively cheap compare to other places.

so nice here, quiet, and i love the pool area ! I wish i had known about this place sooner so that I could have moved here. the renovations are great.

My key didn’t work the first day. The oven didn’t work either and we’re still waiting for that to be fixed. There is a hole in the window from the previous owners which was never fixed and still has yet to be fixed. The new dressers don’t have enough space.

Ive had a great move in experience and I love the location and the room sizes. However, I found mold in my bathroom and maintenance did not do a-lot, I feel like it will come back. Besides that, great place to live.

It's really big and cozy! The units are carpeted and hardwood so it makes it homey. super safe too! I like how it's three floors and we have 4.5 bathrooms!

The rooms are very spacious and include nice amenities that have enhanced my living experience. The staff has been very helpful during the move in process including quick maintenance.

So far, I love it here! The units are spacious and clean. The walls are a bit thin, but that’s okay. There is plenty of storage space in the kitchen, but in the bedrooms there is limited space. The closest is huge.

All the utilities and amenities had a classy/modern look. I’d say I just wish they had a bike rack somewhere since I was forced to bring my bike here by my mother, but now I have nowhere to chain it up.

Absolutely love it here! Thankful that the apartments come fully furnished so I never had to buy or bring all of the big stuff. It even comes with a TV :)

I’ve lived here for 3 years now and have loved the spacious rooms, pool, and the staff who have been so helpful and knowledgeable. Anytime I need anything fixed, it has been done so in a timely manner. This recent move-in was so easy and quick. The team at the gathering made it go so smoothly. I am excited to be here for another year!

Lived here for 2 years, first year the management and maintenance was decently responsive and reliable but this past year maintenance has been AWFUL! On over 5 different occasions we went without AC for days and even weeks in the hottest months of the year. Don’t expect anything to get fixed. Management has no clue what they’re talking about when it comes to maintenance and is evasive and even slightly disrespectful when you ask about getting things fixed. Management lied to me and my roommates giving us each a different reason why our AC wasn’t being fixed on more than one occasion. We had to take it to upper management and the university before anyone started to do anything (2 weeks later). Place would be nice if they had properly trained management, and maintenance that ACTUALLY fixes things and in a timely manner. Also rent is expensive and you will almost always “go over” your utilities (even with no working AC and just one person living in the apartment) so many hidden fees and if you question any of the fees be prepared for no response or an evasive one. Save yourself the stress and money and live literally anywhere else. I do want to note that right before moving out in June 2023 we met the new maintenance man who seemed knowledgeable and helpful… so maybe there is hope for the future.

The gathering is an okay option if you need a place to stay for the school year, however, there are better, more affordable options all over Salisbury. The random roommate system is often wildly unfortunate, and the main office can sometimes be a little unprofessional. Halfway through my first year, the main office staff swapped, and as a result started charging my unit pet rent randomly, which we had to fight to remove and were not reimbursed. The internet at the gathering is terrible, so terrible in fact that for the first year, none of my roommates could finish any homework while staying in the apartment without opening a hotspot. It never got better. Many of the issues we reported to the maintenance staff were never fixed or addressed, but I am sure we will be charged for them when we leave. The gathering is close to the university, roughly a 30-minute walk if you walk leisurely.

Good environment. Spacious bedrooms. Nice pool and gym. Big closet and lots of storage in the kitchen. Safe area. Nice porch that has room for chairs and tables.
