The Gio Apartments

Moved on November 30 and immediately regretted my decision on signing a lease. Was not able to see my leased unit until the day I moved in. Place was dirty, cabinets nearly falling off the hinges, this is just a couple of many problems. Notified management they sent out the maintenance crew all they did was put a bandaid on the problem. The other problem and this is a big one there is trash everywhere all the time bags left next to the dumpsters that get ripped open by animals at night so the trash spread out everywhere. Reached out to management to get out of my lease because of the disappointment but I have to give a 60 day notice. Went ahead and did that because I can not imagine leaving in the filth for a full year.

The staff is amazing extremely helpful and considerate. They take their time with you, and you don't feel rushed which is in my opinion exceptional customer service. Having a package room is also a plus, lets me know the safety of my delivery is covered. Veery clean and quiet apartment so far.

Very friendly neighbors, quiet, and always willing to help if needed. So far, everything is as advertised. Conveniently located to all things related to grocery and retail shopping.

My family and I felt so welcomed and safe. Latasha and Sophia have been extremely thoughtful and attentive to our needs. The maintenance team is fabulous, shout out to Saeed, handling any problem very promptly and kindly. And the staff is very nice and understanding. The Gio really maintains everything inside and out to keep it looking pretty. Whenever we've had any issues they've been more than willing to discuss them and to find a good solution. I appreciate the upgrade we got on the flooring. They are also GREAT about allowing pets. I would highly recommend!

Maintenance timelines have improved, increased focus on amenities cleaning is needed along with swimming pool, garbage disposal system has also improved, more focus on ensuring proper internal roads

Living in a complex offers convenience with amenities like gyms, pools, and security. It’s social but can have downsides like noise, parking issues, and less privacy. Ideal for those who value community living..

It has been a relatively good experience, but maintenance and pest control are not great. maintenance regularly leaves a mess behind, or uses my personal cleaning supplies to clean up after themselves (ruined my mop once) and pest control has not been able to fix a sudden roach problem despite coming three times in a month to spray.

Office Staff is always nice and professional. Maintenance is courteous and does a good job. Complex always looks clean. If there's any issues, they're right on top of it.

Everything is going well, my apartment is beautiful. The grounds are well kept and it is quite at night. The office staff has been very helpful and love my move to this complex.

Ray was my leasing representative he was very nice and very knowledgeable of the apartment complex and amenities. My move in was very smooth from the beginning to the end. The apartments are very nice and reasonable

Great place to live. The Gio office helped me out greatly when they changed payment methods and I could not get my card to work right. At the last minute after they saw how much I had been working on it - they accepted a cashier's check. Before the next rent was due, I was able to get a new card and have it work. Thanks, The Gio. Gio Apartments is a solid choice for someone who prioritizes location and enjoys a modern setup with a lively community. If you’re okay with a bit of background noise and minor inconveniences, it’s worth considering.

Trash continues to be an issue, the dumpsters are always overflowing and some people still leave their trash infront of the entry ways. Maintenance does a good job at trying to clean, but the people that continue to do it are an issue.

The place is safe and very quiet at night. The maintenance is always done with in 48 hours, and they always have fun activities with all of their tenants.

A blissful and peaceful experience. I love it here. Friendly neighbors, peaceful neighborhood and beautiful ambience. Best apartment of the year

Awesome place to stay, been here for 3 mo and haven't had any problems. Everyone is nice kind and it's quite neighborhood. Close to Walmart, Sam's and may different restaurants.

1 and a !/2 months and we still have a severe roach problem. After several attempts to rectify the problem, Gios exterminator has yet to rid us of these pests. Their exterminator seems to just shrug off the problem.

It was a good experience Ray helped a lot with my move he was very swift and he got the business done asap very professional my process was very easy I must say

I think better communication to the residents would be helpful. If there is going to be any maintenance done in a building that requires water to be shut off or anything else, we should be made aware of ahead of time, not while it is going on after it has been completed. Maintenance requests haven’t been done the best. I’ve had some come check out a problem and not really fix the issue and one that has said pending and never got any more feedback.

Pest problem ongoing since move in, ants and flies. Trash outside front of buildings and in parking lot median spaces. Maintenance requests marked completed before attended to. Some requests are never completed.

I have lived in The Gio for 6 yrs. I enjoy living in my quiet spoke. Neighbors are friendly. Maintenance has improved this year and very helpful.

We love living here. The apartment is very confortable. The complex has all the amenities that a family needs for having fun. Also it has a lot of stores and restaurants close.

Have seen improvements with respect to garbage disposal, road maintenance still need improvements, increase focus on maintaining amenities is expected considering the rentals at nearby places , one gate still not working

I don't live there yet but the process so far has been great, the office staff has been great. The application process is easy and felt very welcome.

It was so great they listened to me when I had concerns and fixed the problem. so, for they are great. The people in the office were kind and have great smiles to greet you with when you come into the office.

they dont really help you out at all, always changing what they say, staff turnover is wild, you have to call repeatedly to get through. just lots of attitude

I use to live here years ago and came back because of all the great experiences I had. I am so glade I came back. My apartment is great, the location of the apartments is in a convenient location to food places and the store.

So far has been good , improvement seen in some areas , entry gate seems to be still and issue , not having multiple internet service provider should be taken on priority

Good value for money apartment. Parker station is around 1 mile away. This makes transportation much easier and can survive without car. Walmart and Sam’s club is very near as well

overall a good experience. the neighborhood is quiet and safe, with lots of families. the amenities are just ok, as the pools are regularly shut down and there is never a time where all three of the gates work.

Very old society , needs to lot of maintenance . Play area has lots of scope of improvement. Now a days it is becoming unsafe to roam around , after hearing so many cases .

The apartments are really nice but the downfall is the bugs. There’s a lot of spiders in the hallways and the apartments have a lot of roaches.

I had good experience in this community. The grocery store like Walmart, Sam’s, Costco are vey near from this community. Indian grocery store is also near from this community.
