Property Ratings at The Glades
The Glades is a great smaller apartment complex in a very convenient location. Shopping is within walking distance, and the location has quick access to I-4. The immediate area, as well as the complex itself, has more trees and greenery than other complexes. Because of the greenery, traffic noise is minimal. In addition, the new owners of the property and spending money on upgrades and renovations. Maintenance requests are handled promptly.

The property isn't worth the money. New owners new staff old interior and exterior. You're charged for everything whether you want it or not. Renting due to convenience only nor because it's a most live property.
Have you ever played the game Monopoly and you grab a chance card and it is the "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD" My Friend please take my review (as a current resident) as my "Get out of JAIL FREE card" Do not believe everything you read or think the pictures are actually current pictures here at The Glades now 6/2019 - Do yourself and or family a favor....DRIVE HERE and look for yourself....look at the road as you drive thru and all the potholes that have been here for 5 months now! Look at the trash bins....walk over to the so called Dog Park (more like Dog fenced in Grass) and check out the big hole that you or your dog could break your leg AND fyi: the poop that is still in there has worms in it poor dogs. Ask why they charge $10 on top of your rent for your parking spot...ask why the Valet trash service is $25 on top of your rent whether you use it or not...... I am Soooooo......blessed to know I am moving out at the end of my lease and would NOT fight to stay.....Thanks for reading and Good Luck!
I've lived here at THE GLADES for over 12 years and have recommended it to numerous people because I truly believe these are the best apartments this side of Orlando. THE GLADES offered everything I wanted and needed in a home. It’s in a safe and quiet area. It’s within walking distance of 5 shopping plazas with stores, restaurants, fitness centers, whatever is needed. Then there’s Merrill Park and the area’s hiking/biking trails nearby. The apartments themselves are really nice... with oversized rooms, high ceilings, tons of closets & storage, full-size washer and dryer, a third floor balcony (which I turned into a “catio”), and more. THE GLADES has a great community of people living here. You’ll see them out for a stroll, playing with their dogs in the dog park, on the tennis court, in the gym, the pool, or the clubhouse. Then there’s the professional management team. I have nothing but the highest praise for each of them. If it’s broken, they’ll fix it right away. If there’s a problem, you get immediate attention. Whatever. And they’re really nice people, too. Yeah, I’m happy here at THE GLADES. I’m glad it’s my home. --NANCY
My husband and I recently renewed our lease at the Glades Apartment. Our decision was very easy to make. The excellent customer service we receive from the staff and immediate response to our concerns as well as work orders is impeccable. The Property manager, Assistant Manager and Maintenance staff our extremely polite, friendly and attentive to the residents. The landscaping and amenities of the property are welcoming.. For all that you get --- oversized rooms, more than enough closet space, full-size washer & drier, and all the rest of the amenities you’d expect from upscale & well-maintained apartments --- the rents are quite reasonable. Also, there are picnic areas for cookouts, a dog park, gym, racquet ball & tennis courts, hot tub, pool, and sauna. I’ve enjoyed living here for the past 10 years. It’s a quiet & safe environment that’s within walking distance to stores, restaurants, and Merrill Park. The neighbors and our professional management team are really nice, too. Living here is like being in the city and the country at the same time. I love both worlds and is exciting, calm and rewarding. the apartment is cute, comfortable and has everthing I need. Neighbors are good people and maintanence is great. Near Church, by Busline , great Schools, Restaurants and Shoping. Best place I can live, until I hit the lotto and buy my Dream Home. Im very happy here.
This place is beautiful! Management really helps and cares for its residents. Interior and exterior are wonderful!
I like the area that it is in, I feel safe. The management is very respectful. Any issues they will fix it quickly. For the price it's an ok place. My roof my leak if it rains to hard. My kitchen drawers are broken. The dish washer leaks. The dryer has to do two cycles to work. It's an ok place so i'm fine with it.
The Glades is an absolutely wonderful place to live. Michelle in the office made the move-in process painless and easy. She truly cares about her tenants! The grounds are well kept and maintenance is accommodating and efficient. I would recommend The Glades to everyone.
We have lived at the Glades for a little over two years now. We have really enjoyed this place. Maintenance and the office staff are polite and quick, the neighbors stay out of your way and we have a lot of bedroom space. Only complaints are that the living area is a little small and we have to deal with the usual Florida bugs. Overall this has been a great experience.
I love living at The Glades. I came here from New York, I picked out the apartment, filled out the applications, and talked to the Property Manager but never actually got to visit the complex until I moved down here. I always say, I really lucked out with my living situation. Everyone who works here is very friendly. I have had no significant problems with the apartment just the occasional light bulb burn out, etc. but I was able to schedule an appt. with maintenance and they fixed everything in a timely manner. The location is great, right near shops, grocery stores, restaurants, the mall, and I-4. They are pet friendly, have a beautiful pool area, a tennis court, a gym with treadmills, an elliptical, weight machine, and a racquetball court. If you are looking to move to the Altamonte Springs area I would definitely recommend The Glades.
