Property Ratings at The Glen at Cagan Crossings
We have lived here in the Glen for 2 1/2 years and only leaving because I am buying a house. Single working mom and I have never felt unsafe here. Office and maintenance staff have taken care of every request I have made and usually within the same day. Only issues are a loud neighbor above and neighbors that let their trash leak and stain the walkway. I attribute that to those specific people not the place as a whole. Wish they sold these as condos because I would have bought one without a doubt. Convenient to shopping, Disney and interstates for visiting friends and family. We will miss living here.
I love it here! So much so, that even when I changed jobs, I just dealt with the longer commute because I didn't want to leave this neighborhood. It's quiet, safe, and has lots of convenient shopping and popular restaurants nearby. The local library is on the property, and the community always offers special events. There's a local market that takes place every Friday, and in the recent past there have been food trucks, carnivals, and even a haunted house all on the community property! There's a beautiful lake and picnic gazebo with grills, a fitness center, a meeting center, three pools, plus a few different community sections all within the property. I highly recommend living here for all ages and family sizes. In fact, I have referred friends/coworkers to live here who did indeed move in. You should too!
The community has everything you need from a WalMart to restaurants & a Salon with Spa. The apartment is beautiful with 2master room suits with closets half the size if the room itself!
Love the apartment. If I was staying in Central Florida I would live here permanently.
Cagans Crossing is perfect in every way. We are thirty minutes from Disney. We are in walking distance of Burger King, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, KFC, Taco Bell, Subways, an Urgent Care, Walmart and Lowes and Chili's. I have a two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Separate dinning area. Full walk in closets and a lanai. Nice ceiling fans. It is spacious and you can't beat the rent for the square footage space. The grounds are always well maintained. The office staff is great. You can call or walk to the office for anything that needs fixing. Our pool has beach chairs and umbrellas, and it's always well maintained. We have a great gym room with new equipment. Walking in our complex is sweet, especially when you walk near the lake. It's a beautiful scenery. We even have benches, a gazebo and barbeque pits. It's great, anyone living here would love it.
This complex is great. It has four different income stages from $500 to $1300 rents. The apartments are well maintained and they just added valet garbage for free. If you work for Disney it is even better as you get a discount o the fees and you are surrounded be cast members. The county library is on the edge of the complex and there is a farmers' market every Friday. There is a small shopping center with great restaurants in the complex and more across the street in front of the Wal-Mart. It is great to be able to walk to the grocery store. I love living here. I had to leave the area at one point, but when I came back I immediately contacted Cagan to see if they had an opening. I recommend Cagan to all my friends.
This apartment complex could be good except they keep doing the little things to make you feel unwelcome. When I asked for repair to several things which were defective they refused to repair them. This includes the tub which has several spots where the enamel has worn away and has rusted a dozen pits which requires the tub to be replaced. All they have done is spray paint the spots white. This flakes off within a couple weeks. This is indicative of the way repairs are handled. It seems to me that they are only looking for cosmetic ways to increase the rent. In the last year they have instituted valet trash (which is done by guys with a pickup truck piled high like the Clampetts truck) and my rent is going up $70 if I renew. I have seen the valet trash topple off the truck several times. The complex has three pools but you are not allowed to use a pool in one of the other sections. The pools are unattended but only open 9-9. I have had my air conditioning break 10 times in a year and 2/3rds. The air units are so old they just keep putting more freon into them rather than actually fixing/replacing them. I have been here this long only because the rent was low and the commute to Magic Kingdom was not bad. With my rent going up I will not be putting up with this once my lease ends. There are many new housing options going in and price is no longer an advantage for Ridgepointe at Cagan's Crossing.
