Property Ratings at The Glens at Reed Station
First off the leading office staff is unprofessional and does not do their job. I have complained several times about broken things in my apartment that has been fixed after making intial complaint since the beginning of summer, it is now September. The laundry room facilities are disgusting people defecate in the machines, smoke marijuana in the hallways, and hang out in the back of the apartment buildings. Contacting management does absolutely nothing! The property gets trashy and so does the apartment buildings. The only time that the property is clean is when there is a mandatory inspection for the entire complex. They do this so they can still continue to qualify as a tax credit property. Every other week they need to come into your apartment for something which they leave no documentation after they have entered, and the notice is almost always less than 24 hours and even then sometimes they don't even show up when they are supposed to. I do not recommend anyone to move here unless you are absolutely desperate and on the verge of being homeless! They will take your rent money and will treat you like they owe you something by not adhering to their responsibilities as the landlord. I have contacted Edgewood several times and have not gotten a call back on my issues. I strongly advise you not to move here you will be disappointed and angry most of the duration living on this property. The pictures that they show you is a bunch of bull.

Contractors are given keys to apartments and enter without staff. Staff enters when they want without notice.Tenants safety and privacy is always at risk ! Staff is vindictive, disrespectful and rude. When approached about the issue of unlawful entry to tenants home, and contractors given keys to enter tenants units, no staff present with contractors, and no notice left stating they entered or reason for entry. I have seen all contractors enter without staff present. This is unlawful and a violation of tenants rights and often enter without notice ! Lighting is extremely poor at night, which is also unsafe.... Edgewood management needs to reevaluate the staff in place at Glenreed. Retrain in safety and privacy procedure's with staff. And review and update contractors method of entry to tenants units and staffs method of entry. Staff and Contractors walk in without notice usually and can startle someone. God forbid if something happens to a tenant or tenants that could be prevented if proper safety and privacy procedures are in place.
