I have lived here for a year and within that year it as been a nightmare! First when I moved in I almost fell in the tub because it was so slippery, so I bought a mat to put in the tub then when I took the mat out it pulled all the spray paint they sprayed to cover the dirt and nasty stuff. My bathroom sink was leaking and I put in several request for them to fix it and they would never come in the unit to fix the problem even though I gave them permission to enter, (i seen from doorbell camera) so I fixed it myself. Also I was in the hospital for a month and when I got out I spoke to the apartment on site manager and told them my situation and that I was looking for assistant he acted like he would work with me but when I went to get some paperwork from them they let me know that they filed eviction on me without any kind of notice, they claim they put the notice inside my apartment but they never did and because of the doorbell camera I had proof that they didn’t. I could never go outside onto my balcony because the balcony was dangerous unsafe and unstable. The i ring on the cake is that my AC vent was leaking and damaged the ceiling I put in a work order and they came and looked at the ceiling but did not do anything to fix it, 2 weeks later it rain quite a bit and the ceiling hole became way bigger and then my AC stoped cooling the apartment because of the hole. I called and called and left messages and left tons of matience request asking them to help me because my unit 90 degrees because it is summer and it has been for 3 days with no AC and they have not fixed or called or tried to help me in the middle of the summer.
This place is not kept up at all. The office is impossible to get ahold of and the units are filled with mold. If you try to make a maintenance request they never answer or don’t do anything. The units are also very poorly kept up. They are renovated but cheaply and falling apart. No matter how much I cleaned I still had bugs that would come in from the structural holes.
Neighborhood is pleasant, quiet. Neighbors are even nicer. Though recently new management came in. They're as nice as the last management and are renovating the whole complex. Repainting, repaving, fixing roofs, etc. It's been needed. Though they're doing it all at once instead of spreading it out evenly with time. Maintenance here was always quick and super nice, though now they have their hands full with full scale renovations. They can no longer fix individual apartments or answer requests. People have mold, my bedroom and bathroom walls are cracking, and my tub is fully cracked. My maintenance request was made last December and now its February... the renovations were necessary, but they threw the current leasers under the bus to do it. They refused to stop and can only make empty promises as to when your apartment may get looked at. Did I also mention they keep changing websites to pay your rent? Each website is riddled with bugs and this month's bug is that you can accidentally overpay your rent. Management has told me they can't do anything about this. If you made a maintenance request on the last website, they will also fail to tell you it was deleted. There won't be a follow up email or phone call about it. You have to figure these things out on your own and be on their case about it. Not that they'll look at apartments anyway. Its full steam ahead with renovations. The entire staff was also out sick with covid last December and came back better in January, but still maskless. They refuse to wear any as well. So good luck if you're doing a walk in and have pre existing conditions. Health is not a priority here.
These people do not pay any attention my roof has come down 2 weeks but they have not repair now there is no water they did not inform also that the water will not come today where we will go for pee n poo .in the morn I saw there no water I called them they saying work has started for some leakage but they should inform us atleast so that we can store some water .With folded hands I will say please do not come here .
I currently live here, last night a Random assault happened in the parking lot. Management sent out an email notice of the occurrence, I bet it wouldn’t have happened if the locks and keys pads actually worked/existed on the gates if I could, I would attach pictures.

We urge all residents to get to know their neighbors, to always use caution, and report any suspicious behavior to the authorities.
My boyfriend and I were searching for an apartment when we stumbled upon The Grand Hampton. I called the leasing office and scheduled a tour, both of the associates I spoke to were kind and knowledgeable. Yesterday we had a walk around at this apartment complex and 2 other ones. When we got to The Grand Hampton Sabrina greeted us quickly and we discussed our wants and concerns. Then she showed us around, we saw both of the model apartments and they were beautiful. The flooring (the carpet is really pretty, but the wood floor is to die for!), the kitchen, the bathroom, the closet space, all of it felt so inviting. It was by far our favorite apartments we saw that day. She then showed us the amenities on site, the internet cafe, the gym, the pool. We didn't see the laundry rooms because they are in the middle of renovation, but I'm sure it will be as great as everything else they have to offer. We sat down with Sabrina again and she further discussed with us pricing, floor plans, locations on site, ect and she took time to answer every question we had. We decided on a unit, then left to look at another apartment complex. Later, due to a system error, we were informed that the unit we wanted was no longer available and we could come back in to discuss other arrangements. We were quickly greeted again and spoke with both Sabrina and Eddie. They apologized and both answered all our questions and worked with us profusely to try and get the unit we really wanted. In the end we selected an upstairs beachside floor plan, although downstairs is what we preferred. They assured us if anything else opened up they would switch units before our move in date. Despite the hiccup my boyfriend and I are especially pleased by the SUPERB service we received and the appearance of the apartment complex. They are undergoing renovations for both cosmetic and safety reasons and the company overseeing these are doing a splendid job. The complex is gated, the patios have new wood closures, new laundry rooms, the foundation was raised,(in the wake of Hurricane Harvey) and so much more. We are so excited to be moving in soon and we know that if we need any help or have questions the office will always be at our disposal. Thank ya'll so much again!
Our daughter lived in a 2 bedroom unit. A bedroom 2nd floor closet leaked shortly after moving in, the first rainfall. A month later, a major leak at the sliding glass door created an indoor wetlands. Months to get maintenance to look at, but never fixed right, faulty drainage made every rainfall a water puddle inside the patio doors. Electrical outlets and ceiling lights were dead and never fixed. Trash bins were in another section nearly a quarter mile away, inaccessible except by walkways by foot. After hurricane Harvey more roof leaks occurred, were reported and ignored. The gave her an eviction notice so they could remodel the apartment. After moving out they charged her an additional 60 dollars on top of the cleaning deposit to fix the items they ignored for a full year. I spent time there fixing toilets, lights, appliances that the management, maintenance ignored. A new low in apartment living.

This area is what they like to call "up and coming". It's convenient to most everything shopping, dining, grocery etc. So the area is quite expensive. My apartments are the best priced in the area. Plenty of square footage, excellent maintenance, friendly leasing agents. Landscaping and pool are well kept. I have nothing bad to say about these apartment. I expect to live here for a long time.
