Property Ratings at The Grand Wisconsin Apartments
My partner and I moved into our unit in July, and we love it! The amenities are awesome (the hot tub is very nice), the neighbors are pleasant and the management is engaging and helpful. We will definitely be renewing our lease in the Summer!
I have lived here for over a year and i LOVE it. The management plus the beautiful renovation of a historical building make it a great place to live. Jonathan and Sarah know all residence by name and greet you in the hallway. Maintenance problems are solved day of. The apartments hosts gatherings for residence such as cocktails tastings, ice cream sundae bar, breweries, golf outings. I have always felt safe living here and the lobby is always very clean. If you're even considering living here I would Definitely recommend!!!
I lived at the Grand Wisconsin for 2 years during graduate school. My roommate and I absolutely loved living here and we never had any issues. Management and maintenance are very responsive and take care of issues in a timely manner. Apartments are really nicely remodeled, we lived in two units and both were very clean and comfortable. Fairly quiet and don’t hear a lot from upstairs neighbors but outdoor activities like the Night Market can be loud, so consider that. I enjoyed the area a lot but it is the middle of the city and not very residential, much more like hotels, restaurants, and convention centers like the Wisconsin Center. I lived here for well over a year without a car and just taking public transport/uber/walking and it was fine and you can make it work depending on where you’re going, but I did find having a car made it easier for things like groceries. Really nice amenities within the building. No issues with pests or bugs, I personally never really saw as much as a spider in my apartment. Overall I highly recommend living here, I was sad to leave!
This apartment is located in the heart of downtown. You don’t have to go too far for anything especially food and fun! The apartment is really nice with a convenient store on the first floor, hot tub and work out room and dog park. The building is secure and with cameras and fob key entrance or you can use the app yo get in. The tenants here are friendly and the building managers are friendly, helpful and always having fun events!
I lived at The Grand Wisconsin for over three years. My experience during those years varied greatly depending upon who was working the office in the never ending line of property managers. The apartments themselves are older but well maintained. When you are inside your apartment, you can rarely hear any noises from outside or from your neighbors as the building is old and well-built. The location was convenient but is truly in the heart of downtown's business district and not one of the more residential areas like the Third Ward or East Side. In the end, the charm of the Grand Wisconsin could not keep me any longer as I grew wawry of the neighborhood as homeless people often gathered in the ally behind the building making me feel unsafe at times.
I stayed here for 6 months.... the community is very clean and secure... close to all the attractions near by. The staff was pretty cool and cooperative.
Loved this place! Awesome ambiance , its a royalty living in this amazing apartments. Very well maintained, too many things for recreation activities like jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, pool table. The best part is thurs happy hours in the lounge where everyone gets together to socialize. Very spacious rooms with good HVAC, cooperative administration staff and in the middle of downtown! Its the best place to be in Milwaukee city!
We began corresponding with the property before visiting the city. They had sent all information and were expecting us. The staff was great - friendly, professional and motivated. The property - a restored vintage hotel in downtown Milwaukee - has everything we wanted and priced competitively to other places that are just apartments. The amenities - gym, large hot tub, steam room and sauna, underground parking, club room - were all beautiful and perfectly maintained. The apartments were a bit small, but all are lovely. You can just tell they take care of their tenants. We were impressed by the facility and the team.
