The location of The Grandview at Lake Murray is incredible. Minutes from everything you need either in Irmo or Lexington, and easy access to highways. Very quiet and peaceful at night. People are friendly. And it seems to be extremely dog friendly.

We just renewed for the second time. We like our apartment and it fits our needs well. The staff is thorough, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and responds quickly. We will soon begin our third year here and intend to stay because we have been made to feel at home here and happy. We love the screened in patio and use it regularly. The service that provided was absolutely wonderful! Mr. Joe did a great job as per usual. I submitted my maintenance request the night before and they came the next day which was fantastic! I would 100% recommend Lakeview to anyone in search of a new apartment!

This has been the most horrific experience I have ever had at an apartment community. When I moved in, the unit was not cleaned (cleaners were cleaning as I moved in), despite having ample notice when my move was to take place. I was asked by the leasing consultant to postpone my move to later. The washer machine did not work, the refrigerator made an awful sound, there was noises coming from the walls beside the kitchen sink, noises coming from plumbing in master bath, receptacles in guest bathroom were bad, trash was not being picked up when it was supposed to, etc., etc.

We’ve only been here for two and a half weeks now and this is absolutely amazing! Whenever I had issues with my dishwasher not working properly, maintenance was on it! Kudos to those folks because they get the job done quickly. Gabby in the office is just fabulous and deserve a huge pay raise. She’s just an absolute gem of a human being. My daughter and I both feel blessed to call Grandview home now. (Oh and she LOVES the pool!)

My wife and I are in the midst of building a house and needed temporary residence. We found the Grandview online and toured the community with Gabby. She is totally awesome by the way. A fantastic representative of the company. Overall our stay has been everything we needed, close to work, close to fun things to do, relatively quiet, and any needs we had with maitenenace were resolved quickly!

For the money I pay in rent, this is absolutely the worst decision I have made in a rental. The amenities are not up to par, the property is not safe as the gates have not worked since August and people walk through who do not live here and I am actually afraid at night to get from my car to my apartment. Barking dogs all hours of the day, no insulation to muffle noise from the upstairs apartment, dirty breezeway, etc.... To anyone who asks me about my experience, I will absolutely tell them not to rent here or anywhere else that is a GrayStar property.
