The proud home to Auburn University, the city of Auburn is a vibrant college town nestled in east-central Alabama’s rolling hills. Auburn’s culture and lively atmosphere is largely shaped by the university’s presence, so it’s safe to say that locals bleed orange and blue. Attending Tigers games at Jordan-Hare Stadium is a rite of passage for many Auburn residents and visitors. Toomer’s Corner is a popular gathering spot for all Auburn locals – students and city dwellers alike.
Auburn’s community comes together for an array of annual events, including Auburn CityFest, Auburn Floral Trail, and Auburn Recycles Day. Chewacla State Park provides endless options for outdoor recreation like fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife watching, and so much more! Auburn exudes a charming small-town feel and affordable rentals, so its popularity is understandable.

Property Ratings at The Greens at Auburn I/II
Just moved in and this is by far the best place I have lived in Auburn. Management and maintenance are amazing.
The don't care about their residents. unprofessional
Just moved in and love everything about my apartment. They are apparently upgrading things as they need to be replaced. I had different flooring and it’s amazing. Management and staff have been great dealing with them prior to move in.
Management is a JOKE. She is the absolute worst human being I have ever had to deal with. It was the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. She smelled like a two day old cigarette. The whole place seems slimy. I have seen first-hand how the manager treats her employees, and I felt sorry for them, honestly. Maintenance is creepy and lazy. I felt so uncomfortable knowing they might have to go in my apartment while I wasn't there, but it was just as bad being in there with them. I wouldn't wish living (or working) there on my worst enemy. I have read other reviews on different websites and everyone is saying the same kind of things. How has there not been anything done about these people?
The Greens at Auburn are wonderful. If you like a relaxing and quite place to live. We rented my daughter and her friends an apartment there and have had no troubles. Everyone is always so nice. It's a nice and quiet atmosphere. It is a very safe environment, neighbors are always willing to help neighbors. We could not have picked a better place for them to live. They have easy access to the University, shopping, many places to eat and all the amenities the apartments offer. Sorry to the other people who posted for your bad luck but we have nothing but positive things to say. We were able to view the apartment before they moved in and any issues (none really) we had got fixed right away.
We moved into The Greens as we needed a short term lease while our house was being built. The apartment complex is no-frills to say the least, and I lived much better while in college 5-8 years ago much closer to campus. The walls are paper thin, and the upkeep is minimal I'd say. My biggest complaint is management's stealing of security deposits from residents. Despite leaving our apartment in much better condition than we moved into, and despite doing EVERYTHING the office staff said was required to get the deposit back....they kept every single PENNY of a deposit and made additional charges for damages that don't exist. The unethical management practices of this company are the main reason I can NEVER recommend this apartment complex or management company to ANYONE. Stay away while you can!
I was very excited about living at this location. It seemed like a wonderful establishment. However, after moving in it became evident that is not the case. The management and customer service in the front office is horrible. Always very rude. I believe they have had a change in management which could be a good thing. I know of two residents who had to move out because they moved into an apartment with mold issues. The management then tried to say that it was due to the resident. They had to live in hotels until the Greens cleaned the apartment. The cleaning did not get rid of the mold. Come to find out, the neighbors reported that there had been a water damage in that apartment just recently. Safe to say that the residents went through litigation and had to terminate their lease. Also, many of the apartments are attached to "sprinkler closets" that you are unable to access. Anytime there is a storm, the alarms in these closets go off. They will go off nights or days at a time. You can not call the "emergency" number for this because they do not deem it as being an emergency. If you have small children or ever plan to sleep, guess again. Do not ever plan on getting a security deposit back. We had the carpets professionally cleaned ourselves and they still took the carpet cleaning deposit.
The amenities such as the gym, pool, and hot tub, of the apartments are nice when they are working properly, about 50% of time. When it comes to repairing broken things in apartments they are very fast, but the staff is awful with other responsibilities. We were blatantly lied to about aspects of the apartments so we would sign the lease. They also blatantly lied to us when we had complaints about construction, times of construction or level of noise, or employee behavior, treating construction site as motocross course, in order to either not take responsibility or try to convince us the problems weren't as bad as they were and there was no reason to complain. We will be moving out as soon as our lease is up because we cant handle being disrespected and ignored.
I love The Greens In Auburn. Its a very safe environment, very good people around and easy access to the necessities they provide.
