This place is nothing like advertised. The pool has been green for the last year. Most of the equipment in the fitness center is missing. If not missing, broken. There are cockroaches galore. My mailbox had no door on it. Maintenance is lacking. So happy to leave this place!!!
Property is VERY poorly maintained, the staff do not have any care in the world about the residents. No communication from anyone about anything. Garbage everywhere all the time. Charges you absurd amounts of money for things. Maintenance takes weeks if not months to repair anything. Some of my maintenance requests weren’t even completed before moving out.
I have been leaving in a 2b-1bath apartment for 3 years, they have only replace the heater and it was because it wasn't working properly. They don't fix anything unless you are on top of them or it doesn't work at all. Not sure this new Management will be any different from before, but so far they are all the same.

They have four pools. In the two summers I lived there, only one of the four was ever open. Don't listen to their lies. They will lie to you about it "opening soon." Do not believe it.

No service, poor staff. Gym temperature is set to extreme hot (84) in summer and extreme cold in winter. Trash guy never comes. Throw your own trash to garbage. Apartment stairs are filled with leaves. Dogs poop everywhere. For one service request wait for months and if they come they will knock your door 10 times in a day for a service request to be done. Rude management of south. High cost with bad management.

I would avoid this place at all cost. My younger sister signed a lease for a two bedroom apartment and was told less then a week before her move in date that her apartment was not going to be ready, and that they had no idea when it was going to be ready. This lead to us having to go down to their office multiple times during the week because they never answer the office phone even if they aren’t busy. Even set up a phone meeting with one of their managers at a time when she said she would be free and asked to be called even if their were no updates cause I was tried of getting the run around. As you can guess we did receive a call and nobody answered when we called in. After fussing with them for a week or so with being told that they had no two apartments available, to we have something available buts it’s almost $200 dollars more then what was signed for. We finally gave up and asked for a refund in which they said they would give us back everything that we gave them. It has been 2 months and we have still not gotten our refund and they are now saying that they will only refund a portion the security deposit and fees we paid. Long story short not all apartments are worth giving a try. If they have an abundance of negative reviews it is for a good reason. Just don’t go here and save yourself the struggle.

Even though the apartment I live in is one of your classic apartments I dont think that the upkeep of this apartment should be over looked. Ive complained of the water bugs and I was told to give them 24 hours to die on their own... only recently someone was interested in my complaints but previously from 2019-2020 my complaints were never addressed. I have brought to managements attention of the roaches and it was not explained to me until January 2021 that I had to request pest control although I pay for pest control every month.. I am a new resident of NC. I previously moved here from NYC where the building maintenance takes care of pests. I asked many questions upon moving here and I had to find out the hard way. Because of the pandemic I have not moved from this apartment but I would not suggest anyone I know to live here unless they dont mind getting worse than what theyve paid for. When the maintenance guys painted my ceiling due to a flood above me, they did not cover my items on the counter space nor on top of the fridge. When I came home all of my things were covered with paint. Im so fed up with the level of service I dont want to complain anymore... I put in a service request for my toilet on April 25th and now it is 10pm April 27, 2021 and I am not able to flush my toilet.. I had to go to Walmart and buy a lever and have a guy install it for me just so I can flush the toilet.
Since moving in Sept 2016 the office and staff have been GREAT people for all scenarios. Support with various situations have thusfar turned into favourable outcomes for me.
I am going on my third lease. I am not going to find another home, I am home.
Expect cheap appliances, ridiculous pet fees, and scarce communication from office (except the reminder for Tuesday food trucks is always on time)
The Gregory is very convenient to the interstate highway East or West. The diverse community represents Cary well.

The Gregory has been very accommodating from the beginning of my leasing process considering that I was moving and from four states away. There were a few when we got here but they were handled on the same day we called. Overall very satisfied with the current management.

My application got rejected on 10/06/2020 and in the contract it states that the administration fee will be refunded within 14-30 days. It’s been over 60 days and I still haven’t gotten my refund. I’ve called the leasing office over 5 times and every time I call I never get a straight answer. Aaron told me he would call me back with an answer and never called back. Another time a female answered and said she would leave a note for the property manager to get in touch with me and I never heard back. I called again and Jack blamed everything on COVID. I understand covid has delayed a lot of things; however sending a check in the mail within the US does not take 60 days to arrive. After I asked to speak to a manager he immediately told me my check was cut. It’s been 2 weeks since he’s said that and still no refund. They are so quick to take your money but will try to keep your money at every means possible. Very unprofessional and I’m glad I didn’t end up living there.
I have lived two times. My first I lived here for 7 years. I moved to Texas, but wanted to move back to NC. I have now lived here going on 3 years. This is my home. Staff and Justin ( maintenance) has always helped when I call.
If you need somewhere to stay that convenient to Raleigh and Durham, this is a good location that is reasonable.
Maintenance sucks here. Cant use any of the amenities and there are absolutely NO closets for storage in this apartment, so its like living in clutter

As a native New Yorker, it was a difficult decision to make regarding relocation. However, once the decision was made I began exploring housing options, The Gregory Apartments met all of my needs. Once my daughter and I explored all the floor plans, The Gregory South had just the right apartment that fit our interest and budget. From day one emailing my interest and then speaking with Kristel it was the simplest and most efficient application process. Kristel answered all my questions and made the moving process very seamless. Im happy with my decision and enjoying learning my community.
I recently relocated from New York City back to North Carolina and The Gregory-South Apartments is the perfect transition for my family. It is centrally located, the amenities offered reduced the stress of relocating. The leasing agents were super helpful and professional at all times. I am enjoying my new environment.
The Gregory is a decent apartment complex; although when we moved in the apartment had not been fully cleaned so I did a lot of the dirty work myself. And because its an old complex our apartment feels like its in disrepair; I wish they had taken the time to renovate and replace broken and old fixtures. Decent price for the area and what you get.
The apartment complex is very pretty, kept clean, and the workers are very nice! They always answer my questions and take care of my needs quickly as they can and without complaint! Ive only been living here for about 3 months or so but so far I havent had a problem :) If I had to go back in time and re pick where I chose to live, 10/10 Id still pick The Gregory - North!
I have no major issues, my neighbors are quiet, i don't have bugs all over the place, I am comfortable. My rent is reasonable for the area. I have a good sized apartment and it hasn't been renovated but I am satisfied.
This place is a mess. From cockroach infestations, to half your stuff never working. Our apartment looks NOTHING like these photos. Our oven and dishwasher are easily from the 1990’s. Management has walked into our apartment unannounced before. The staff is always changing because it’s so bad here. Don’t do it!!
While no place is perfect, this place is home. In a short time, I have been assured that there is genuine interest in the comfort and well-being of those of us in the community.

I'm in a first floor apartment and overall, my apartment is great. Reasonable room for me. Kitchen has plenty of space and cabinets, bedroom is nice in space, so is the living/dinning room. My only dislike is the bathroom. It could be a little bigger but so far everything is great. Nothing is perfect so I'm not looking for perfection. The price of my place is ok, a little much for services I'm not using and never will but overall, ok.

From move in to move out, this has been the biggest disaster of an apartment. They didn't have our original apartment ready at move in, so they shoved us into a different, unrenovated, and ROACH INFESTED unit. I gritted my teeth for the whole year dealing with roaches, ants, and incompetent staff. The only competent staff were the maintenance folks (because they were actually great). The plumbing is garbage. My pipes in my shower were installed backwards and the toilets leaked until the floors started coming up. They charge for pest control and then don't treat your unit until you complain enough. My cat has started losing her fur because she's allergic to all the roaches!! Even move out has been dreadful. The offices were closed in the morning and then later on in the afternoon when we came back to drop off the keys. This place is a disaster. I cannot warn you enough. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Please get verification of every transaction with the leasing office. Document everything. Great safe neighborhood. Quiet yet the apartments are not updated on the North end. I only have two very small closets and storage is tight. However there are ways around this. Maintenance staff are wonderful and you see them often. However, I think due to the leasing office not handling things accordingly it does take maintenance time to fulfill the requests. Its an okay value for the money. Make sure to check the apartment out before leasing. Mine wasnt clean and it took me 3 hours out of my moving in time to get it clean enough to move my belongings in.
So far my apartment is great, no real issues but I have only been here 1 week. I have a first floor, 1 bedroom which I truly like. Lots of windows and storage spaces. The kitchen is modest size but my only dislike is the bathroom, it could use a little more space in size but overall, this is great for a person like me. One thing I could tell is the age on the apartment, it shows it well.
I recently moved into Gregory North Apartments. The leasing office was great, I worked with Stephanie H, and she was Awesome. My apartment is beautiful, clean and modern. There were a few maintenance repairs that had to be done, and they were fixed immediately! I am really pleased. Ive been here only a month so far, and I absolutely love it!

This is a very clean apartment complex in a great location right between Harrison Avenue and Maynard Road. I have lived in this community about 10 years and I find that the Management take very good care of the property. They are many pretty trees and greenery, a playground, swimming pool, exercise center, pet grooming and some apartments have a washer and dryer in it. Great Place! and quite enough to study.
It is a beautiful community. There is a mix of people living in it which is awesome and are very friendly. The apartment itself is very charming with its cathedral ceiling in the living room and fire place. The long Windows bring the light just right and surrounded by trees is great living experience.
This is a large apartment community with many residents. The management does a good job keeping up the maintenance and taking care of residents needs.
What a conveniently located community. It has state of the art accommodations with updated units. I just love the trees and the sounds of nature from my third story unit. Any and all of my service requests have been handled in a proficient manner. This is a great community in the Cary area. Easy access to I-40, stores and downtown nightlife. This is my home away from home. Cannot say enough about this reasonably priced community in Cary, NC. Give it a try.

Shortly after moving in it was clear that once you've moved in all you will get is excuses and the runaround when you have a concern or issue!! Prepare to pay an extra monthly fee for trash pick up that is EXTREMELY inconsistent!! The additional water bill for one person in a one bedroom is higher than I paid for 3 people in a 3 bedroom! They'll tell you they have improved their management but I can assure you it won't be long until you see otherwise!!
This is the worst place that I've ever lived, and I'm from Fayetteville. The office is impossible to reach, and often if you do speak to someone they are extremely rude and condescending towards you. Upon paying rent online, their system glitched and provided me with a confirmation of payment but I noticed the payment was never taken out of my account. I contacted them regarding this, and after days of trying to reach them, I was contacted AFTER THE 5TH, being accused of not paying rent and late fees and insufficient fund charges on my account. I had the confirmation email from their system stating that I had paid, and was basically told that it wasn't their problem. I went to my bank and showed proof that the funds were available and that there was never an attempt from their system to collect the money. Not even then did they acknowledge anything was wrong on their end, and it was brushed off as no big deal. You will be nickel and dimed for the most ridiculous things (porch violations and $25 fines show up on your door step, stating you must pay THAT day or a late fee with begin to accrue- when you ask the office what the violation is, they have no record of it on their end). Scare tactics to prey on people who may not speak up and ask questions, nor have the time or resources to challenge their mistakes. As for the apartment itself, it is rundown and disgusting. The countertops crumble onto the floor because the partical board underneath isn't sealed and has swollen overtime. Tile on the floor surrounding the front door is cracked and chipped (which is actually pretty dangerous with kids around). The weather stripping on the front door is so worn that you can see light coming through the cracks- the door doesn't fit the frame by about 1/4 an inch and you can literally see bugs walk through the front door. The corners of the walls are crumbling to show metal brackets holding everything together. There is permanent mold and mildew under the tiles in the bathroom, which they just caulk over when a new tenant comes. It doesn't come clean with all the heavy duty scrubbing you could muster. There are a LOT of bugs.
