Property Ratings at The Grove at Schaumburg Apartments
I've lived here decades, I know sad, but they have done a great job keeping the community updated, things working properly. They respond very quickly to maintenance requests. An email responses from the office are almost immediate. They go above and beyond to get to know the residents.

Thanks for being such a long-term resident at The Grove at Schaumburg Apartments! We're glad to hear that our team has been able to keep the community updated and be responsive. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we're always here to help with anything you need.
I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of life here over the past year. To begin with, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of long-term residents moving out, which should have served as a red flag for me as well. Unfortunately, I did not pay much attention to this trend at the time, and now l am witnessing firsthand the negative impact it has had on the community. Some of the issues that have become particularly problematic include: 1. Noise disturbances: Children running through the halls and playing in the common areas, as well as people riding motorcycles through the complex at high speeds, have created an environment that is noisy and disruptive to daily life. 2. Lack of respect for shared spaces: Residents are often seen leaving trash in the halls and parking lot, which not only creates an eyesore but also poses a health risk to the entire community. 3. Safety concerns: Recently, there was a shooting incident from one of the balconies, which highlights the growing sense of insecurity in the complex. This is unacceptable and have resulted in serious injury or even de 4. Disregard for community rules: The loud music from boomboxes and parties every night of the week have become the norm, disrupting the peace and quiet that many residents Furthermore, the frequency of police visits to the complex is concerning. While I understand that the safety of residents is important, the constant presence of police officers is disruptive and unsettling. It is unreasonable to expect residents to feel comfortable and secure in their homes when law enforcement is present on a daily basis. Additionally, I am disappointed to learn that there is no breed restriction in place at the complex, despite the presence of large and untrained dogs that are not properly cleaned up after. As a responsible pet owner, I believe it is essential to have clear guidelines in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, including their pets. Lastly, I want to address the issue of parking. While the updated parking lot is a welcome improvement, it is still not sufficient to meet the needs of all residents. In emergency situations, it is unacceptable to have to turn away family members or guests due to a lack of parking passes. It is essential that the management team addresses this issue and provides a solution that ensures the comfort and convenience of all residents.

Apartments are old , dingy and small . Hallways stinks all the time . Was told apartment was newly rehabbed, didn’t see actual unit until move in day ….WOW …Unbelievable…Unacceptable…Please look where else …
This apartment Smells too much marijuana. Smells way too much marijuana. It s like you re smoking marijuana in your place everyday every time every minute every second.
It is so hot in the apartments they don’t turn on the ac! It’s 80 degrees inside my apartment right now !! I have kids and a dog that are toasting while the office ladies sit unconcerned in their ac!
Great place to live! Community is very friendly and office personnel is wonderful. Dont have to submit many service request but when I do it gets resolved right away!
It a good community it live. Family friendly, not noisy
I love the front office! And the price for the spacing was perfect!
Good place to live, excellent staff attention, and attention to quick solution of concerns and situations.
Save a headache and look for better place, the old and new management havent fix all the issues and they promised to give a different unit in better condition but never happened
When I called regarding a work order, the office staff responded quickly contacting maintenance to fix issue. The maintenance guys arrived ready to tackle the challenge and did so without hesitation. In less than a half hour, the maintenance duo fixed kitchen sink issue. Bravo to BH Management for hiring a professional maintenance team that get tasks completed in a timely manner. Five STARS Mark B.
Its very disappointing how the renovated unit looks like. Neighbors were so loud at night with loud music and around 1am till 3:30am people outside were yelling. Its not worth what were paying for.
Its been a great 2 years here. My neighbors are respectable everyone is friendly and I feel safe coming home everyday. I couldnt ask for anything else.
The entire Legend Park team, administrative to maintenance, all perform their work, and/or duties, with the utmost professionalism and curtesy. 5 Star recommendation
We spent a long time looking for the perfect place to call home. We just got engaged and were ready to start a home together. The office staff is so friendly Christe took such good care of us and treated us like family! Any issues that we have had (not many) were resolved right away on the same day! We are thrilled to call Legend our home and look forward to staying for a while!
I have been enjoying my stay in Legend Park and I can recommend it to friends.
new management is great, they are making this place look better, love the incentives they give to tenants. Horrible neighbors, 3 families living in one unit above me and make a lot of noise all day every day, feels like my ceiling will come down, they drop garbage and random stuff on my patio... I have made complaints and nothing has been done about it. Laundry room always dirty and washer and dryer not working. Wish there was a laundry card refill in the laundry room, its hard to have to go to clubhouse to refill late at night or in bad weather. I hate the sidewalk in the rear of building, floods severely when we have heavy rain and shoes get soaked.
The location is superior for shopping and traveling conveniences. Price is fair and many floor plan options are available. Neighbors are all friendly and come from all over the world, so its very interesting getting to know them. All the amenities have been up graded and it looks pretty around here, especially by the lake.
my review is they want to sucker people in by spending a bunch of money on their leasing office but then let you live in this dirt hole of a place that they don't maintain.
At first everything seemed ok. We did the virtual tour and everything looked nice. However when I came here the building smelled like marijuana. It seems like a very different community than what we are used to. People dont seem to be clean or take care of the property. I always see garbage on the lawn and its just not what we expected.
Very Good Landlord very helpful to any problems
Very quiet community. Very nice and helpful administration staff. Legendary Park of Schaumburg is very nice place to live.
I give Legend Park, and employees, a 5 star out of 5 rating.
nice community
Great location. Friendly neighbors and apartment staff. Nice sized units. Dog friendly. Biggest issue is probably the water drainage in the back parking lot.
Nice place but the office personal need some attitude adjustment
If you have small children, WATCH OUT! The main building controls A/C and heat, they haven’t turned on air in our place and my daughters room is 88degrees and no one will do anything about it!!!!!!!! Stay away! Wish I had known that ahead of time!!!!
Been here over three years. The office staff are very nice however thats the only highlight. We have had many days without working hot water, they can't get the AC turned on, on time. We have several package theifs, so you have to constantly contact Amazon to send second or even third attempts at delivering your packages. I have had people ask for money in the parking lot as well as my vehicles vandalized. Save yourself a lot of headaches and look elsewhere.
Just moved here May 2020. Temps have been over 80 & since everyone is on the same heating/cooling system ( which they conveniently didn’t ever mention) AC doesn’t get turned on “Until 7 consecutive nights above 45 degrees. Regardless of this already having happened , AC has not been turned on & the day it was supposed to it is so ancient that it doesn’t work! Also these “tall windows” they say are so beautiful, don’t allow for you to even purchase an AC unit because it won’t fit that huge window, there’s no way to mount it. If you have little ones please do NOT consider this place at ALL. Also had to pay to clean my carpet out of pocket, after walking barefoot all day our feet would be so dirty so I had no other choice. This place has been so stressful to deal with. The doors slam shut because they are so heavy so if you have neighbors like mine that don’t care to carefully shut the door, you’re in for a very loud life. A lot of young people, so it always smells like Marijuana. Don’t make the same mistake, just take your money where they will at least have a functioning AC unit that you can turn on & off individually.
I already did spread the news about legend Park Apartments and none of it is good
We just hope the first few weeks of living her is not the standard.
Great spirit of generosity. I think it starts when you 1st visit. Office helps take care of you. Maintenance helps fix whatever. Many of my neighbors have been here more than 10 years, great satisfaction...
A Rating for customer service, maintenance and a great overall resident community place to live experience.
The staff are very friendly and always ready to help any way they can! They make sure to address every issue address and find a way to solve the problem. Keep up the great work everybody!
Very Quiet and Good neighbor
Great schools and nearby all the majors (gas, groceries, entertainment and food). A lot of amenities provided which is very nice.
We are signing our lease for year three and we really love it here! Staff is awesome especially Leslie R. Great place to live!
Well first they dont come when your complaining and need sonething fixed, we have ant problem for weeks, the office staff very rude and unprofessional and eating stuffing there faces while talking to you.Had a fall in April they care more about themselves then there tenants, they are now renting to anybody the neighbors are loud and weed smell is unbearable and the Ac sucks. So many code violations here not funny at all and lots of people moved out.I wouldnt recommend this place never to anybody I know. All the office people are lazy or drunk on the job its ridiculous.Dont ever rent here.
Poor management and staff. Hallways smelled bad, it was dirty, and inside the apartment you could hear people walking down and up the stairs. Not worth the price

they were great! Just not the location for us. We visited and they were friendly and helpful and had an apartment that we liked, but over all the drive would be too long for us
