Property Ratings at The Halsten at Vinings Mountain
First things first, they have new management every month (which is insane but true), they don’t actually repair anything they prefer to just put a band aid on it. Sewage comes up tubs and toilets at random making it not safe to live in, as well as losing your deposit and making you re pay for it. It’s extremely roach infested!!!!!!!!! I don’t play about bugs and they are everywhere. They mailboxes are constantly ripped open and therefore mail is constantly stolen but they don’t care. They don’t care about anything but finessing money. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy. If I were you, take a couple more dollars and spend it elsewhere. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
I have been here for about a year now, so I figured I could give good insight on this place. The townhome styled apartments seemed like a good deal at first but we have had several problems since we moved in. There are lots of issues with the leasing office staff as well as the on site maintenance crew. We did not receive our lease renewal till about 20 days from when our lease was up. And they acted like they were doing us a favor by not raising the rent. After we contacted them over 5 times about getting the new lease, both through emails and phone calls. The onsite Maintenence team is basically like a lousy handyman. We have waited over two weeks to get things looked at and fixed. And they have shrugged off the things I’d tell them about where the problem is coming from/what it is (seems like they do that because I’m a women honestly). We’ve had several issues with leaks, plumbing, and mold. And their best solution for the mold was for US to clean it. Like any apartment, every light switch and air vent is painted onto the wall. They don’t clean the walls, tub, or fireplaces before painted over them. I found a screw painted onto the fireplace I had to remove myself. Tub are also not properly refinished so the paint will start to peel after its first use. Leasing office would not let us look at the apartment we applied for, after I told them about my concerns in the past and me pushing to see it. Their excuse was they were still cleaning and fixing it up for us to move it. (It was about a month long process since we applied, got accepted, and moved in). The ‘walk through’ I did at move in was just the lady unlocking the door and us standing in the doorway. No actual walkthrough where I could point things out that should be noted so we don’t get charged for. She also left the heat running constantly, not set to auto, which cost me and extra 100$ on our first power bill since we didn’t do and walk through and it took me a day to notice. In conclusion, the decent price might look charming for the space you get, but I don’t personally think it’s worth it. Not when the staff seems in over their heads with the huge number of residents here.
I wouldn't wish this apartment on my worst enemy. the maintenance is insanely bad. The bathroom/water heater closet has flooded at least 5 times and there's mold all in the floor of the bathroom. I've asked them to look into the walls but they say there is just surface level mold so they won't look. Constant leaks, the AC barely works, the trash service (that we pay extra for) is hit or miss, you can call the leasing office about issues or concerns constantly and they won't answer. I asked once why no one ever returns voicemails and they said they don't have the voicemail set up so they can get the messages. Last year, they gave me my rent increase less than 2 months before I had to move out (completely ignoring that the lease says they have to give me a 90 day notice) and tried to raise it almost $300. I had my power cut off because our meters are connected to the wrong apartment and my neighbor didn't pay their power bill. It took a full day to get it back on. They shut the water off for about a week after the freeze around the holidays and offered no assistance to residents without water. They put a piece of paper on the leasing office door that said there was nothing they could do and locked the doors and wouldn't talk to anyone during business hours while the water was shut off. They also shut the water off randomly with no notice all the time. The managers/leasing consultants have changed so many times in the past year so if you have ongoing issues, you will likely have to start over with a new manager. I have had a broken bathroom fan since I moved in multiple years ago and it has never been fixed. Finally, I used to live in a different unit in this complex but had to move to a different unit because the foundation was so tilted that cabinets wouldn't close, there was a major bug problem, neighbors would smoke in the apartment and it got in my unit, etc. they said they would have to do major rework to the subfloor to fix it so I should move to another unit. Turns out they rented it as soon as I got out and did nothing to fix it. DO NOT LIVE HERE there are so many other options in the area with a more responsive leasing office/maintenance services/better apartments. I truly could go on and on about how horrible this apartment is. Avoid at all costs.
I scheduled an appointment to view one of their apartments. I show up to the doors locked and them telling me they’re closed for this weekend. I flew in from out of state to attend these important appointments to find a place of living. The least they could’ve done is called or emailed me the situation instead of finding out when arriving physically.
Constant issues, painted over appliances that are called “refurbishments”, random sub contractor maintenance staff that will steal your belongings, incompetent and shady office staff. The list goes on. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT spend your money here.
I relocated from another State. I lived there for a year, 10/2021-10/22. I adored the quietness and the cleanliness of the property, also the safety. Additionally, being close to Cumberland mall, walking distance to the Brave stadium was terrific, and the Vining area is beautiful. I had a two-bedroom and Two—Bath Premium apartment. The cons had been the walls were thin. I had no storage space. Both the bathrooms and Kitchen need remodeling. My laundry room was out in the walkway. But, when the complex went under new staffing, I was pleased—with the Maintenance team's timeframe for getting things done. When I first moved in, I had a split ceiling, and the dining room walls were cracked. The new management team fixed those issues. Honestly, I would've stayed if The Townhomes were available. I would recommend living here. My only advice would be to inquire to see the exact apartment that you're getting if you can because the model is only for those who want a townhouse and not a flat with Two or Three Bedrooms.
Mold in my apartment moved in March and my apartment been leaking water. The carpet wet mold in carpet and wall. Closet door wilted from the monster in the room. It been like that for 4 months and probably still haven't been resolved.
I take no delight in this but I’m writing this with the hopes that it doesn’t happen again. I try to believe most people have decent intentions, but, frankly, my visit was such a waste of time, that I have to express my annoyance, decent intentions or not. I scheduled a tour of the Halsten last week, six days before my visit, with the hope of touring a one-bedroom and the complex. My mom and I arrived before my scheduled time only for it to get pushed back. By the time they left and Dennis got to us, we were subjected to a prolonged explanation that informed us that 1) there were no one bedrooms (or two bedrooms or studios, which I asked about after the one bedrooms fell through) available to view and 2) weren’t going to be offered a tour of the complex. We were told that nothing that I was considering was prepped to be viewed. While we were offered to be shown a two bedroom townhouse, I made clear I was not in the market for that. We were also told there was a non-upgraded, discounted two bedroom available, but Dennis simply told us the aforementioned couple was interested in it, and he did not offer to show it to us. At the time, I could only imagine that they were more than interested, maybe even applied for it, but Dennis failed to tell us this until much later. Turns out, it was leased to them. While I knew by the end of how conversation that Dennis had nothing for me, he also promised to get back to me either that day or the day after whether any of the apartments would be made available to be shown. I heard from him a day after that timeframe, and it was made to seem as if the onus was on me to have gotten in touch with him. I expressed to him that it was unfortunate that I didn’t get a chance to see anything, especially because I came to town for this tour from four hours away. He responded with the availability of two and three bedrooms, which, again, I was not interested in. All of this is to say I feel this could have been avoided if there was just honesty from the very beginning; honesty about no one bedrooms being shown; honesty around the couple’s level of interest (this is not on them. I’m glad they found a place); honesty around the follow up emails that were sent to me after I had come home. In addition, I was sent a reminder email for a tour two hours before our scheduled time. If there were no units to be shown, why should I have been sent a reminder?
Apartment complex went to a total renovation during whole 2020 and I have been a tenant since 2014. Construction work was done very weird because nothing was done with certain order. There was work unfinished everywhere. I was able to get in touch with Mr. Nelson (District Manager ) that was very apologetic about this situation. Told him that at present time Had a few maintenance issues to be taken care of. They were able to assist me with those in a timely manner. I want to acknowledge Mr. Tony ( Maintenance Technician)that was able to take care of all issues with an efficient and professional demeanor and a great customer relation attitude. Also like to praised our new Complex Manager Catherine for her nice and positive way of trying to help me with my requests.
I’ve been here for about 3 weeks now and I have to say that these apartments are BEAUTIFUL, I knew from the first phone call to the tour that this was the place for me. I didn’t even know about most of the amenities here, because I wasn’t informed nor pointed to where they were (gym, mailbox, laundry facility ??, but the amenities are amazinggg. I enjoy walking out of my apartment to see the river running and nature. I can’t lie, it’s the bomb THOUGH these first few weeks I’ve had to complain constantly about not having internet/cable access because cables were cut during renovations. I have mold growing from the walls where it looks like it’s leaking behind, & I had plumbing issues that maintenance came to fix ASAP, besides my tub that slowly drained, I fixed that myself. With all that being said, in two weeks these problems have been attended too and I’ve been accommodated so I’m thankful and so blessed to be here ??
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! If I could give the 0 stars I would. I moved in here with high hopes only to find out that this place is absolutely disgusting. Not only are these apartments infested with roaches but they are also infested with spiders. When I spoke to the regional Manager Cat about the roaches she said that "roaches don't bother her and that I should get a cat so that the cat could eat the roaches" she also said that "I need to turn the AC on so that the A.C would keep the roaches away." so now I have to keep my apartment freezing, get a cat and pay pet rent... how inhumane and unsanitary. Half of the appliance outlets don't work. I waited 2 weeks for them to fix my shower and sink when I first moved in. The sad part is, I haven't lived in this unit for more than 30 days and I have already had such a horrible experience. The Regional Manager is so extremely rude and not helpful at all. She lied and told me they would have my apartment fumigated but when I pest control came they told me they didn't have any fumigations scheduled for the apartment building. She lacked empathy and integrity. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Save yourself!
I went to the leasing office today to ask a few things about renovations, building number changes, and lease renewal, and Eric was able to answer everything for me promptly, and made me feel heard. Would never have guessed he was new! Great experience.
Do not expect to be able to get help from anyone in the office or maintenance. You will call all day, and they will not answer. They will say maintenance is on the way to help, and they will not show up. The emergency maintenance number doesn't even work. Who am I supposed to call when my floor is flooding due to the maintenance people messing up a simple AC fix? I'm sure all the people mean well, but the response times and effort is clearly lacking. Not to mention my car was damaged while parked overnight, and of course there are no cameras or anything in the whole neighborhood. All they said was, "Sorry". There are better options, look elsewhere.
The air conditioning in our unit has been broken for an ENTIRE MONTH (since May 5th, 2020). We have placed several maintenance requests, called the leasing office, and even reached out to the property manager but received no response. Save yourself the stress, and DO NOT LIVE HERE. I can't wait to move out. Also, our apartment has been infested with roaches since we moved in in August of 2018. Even though we pay for mandatory pest control monthly, our apartment is NOT treated every month.
I have a 5yr old and an apartment complex that is allowing mold to grow in our townhome. Ms. Donna is miraculously always busy now. No one is returning calls....but its hilarious that they responded to a facebook message AFTER hours.
I am so excited to be leaving! From bugs, to sewage leaking from my kitchen light, and no AC for 3 months (and its still not fixed) I am done with this property. I have paid my rent on time every month and have been the utmost tenet. They have a new person in the front office every day and they do not care about your concerns. I am so ready to leave this property is changing their name for a reason! I wish I could give it 0 stars.
I love my apartment here because of the floor layout. We have a split level three bedroom townhome style apartment and we have so much space. We have two living areas, and we get so many compliments when people come over about the space we have! And there is so much storage space, which is very hard to find. Stone Ridge's location is unbeatable for the price. It is close to Suntrust Park, Cumberland Mall, and shopping on Akers Mill. ANY store you need is in a reasonable driving distance. It's also a short walk to the bus line if you don't have a car. I-285 and I-75 are very close, and it's only a short drive on I-75 to I-85, Midtown, and Downtown. The staff at Stone Ridge have been really amazing under the Castlegate Property Group. Previous property owners have been really terrible, which I think would explain some negative reviews. They are nice, responsive, and put on a lot of fun activities for residents!
I want to start this long, detailed review by saying that Stone Ridge at Vinings is settled in a terrific location, but the management did not seem to care about the many, many issues that plagued oue experience. We loved the floor plans and location. What follows in this review are the reasons why we moved and we want to bring all of these reasons to light, because it turned into our worst experience with an apartment complex in our young lives. To summarize the following; the pests, issues with maintenance requests, renovations of the exterior causing problems inside the apartment, water damage, burst pipe, inconsistent communications, and not receiving appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and troubles we had to go through are the reasons we left and felt the need to voice our troubles and stressors. We feel, because of what we have gone through and the response to it all, the tenants are just dollar signs and not people to the company and owners. We did not feel valued or appreciated at all. We didn’t even reach a full year of living here before these issues began. Be aware before you decide to sign with Stone Ridge at Vinings. Stone Ridge charges $6 per month for pest control. Be prepared to control the pests yourself, they sent an email saying that we should ensure our apartments are clean so pests don't appear, making it our fault that we were had cockroaches in our apartment. They are renovating the exterior of their buildings. There were so many issues that arose from this. The main ones where: debris left in our bedroom for 2 weeks, drywall not being replaced in a timely manner, resulting in rain water streaming through the front door like a waterfall. They did not adhere to the schedules they provided us with and never updated us on anything. People were in and out of our apartment without our knowledge and that resulted in trash being left in our apartment, dust and footprints left floor, and damage to the walls. I'm no detective, but the evidence was abundant and proved people were in my apartment without my knowledge. On top of all of this, our 1st floor flooded. Our carpets were not replaced, and needed to be cleaned over 3 times to get rid of the mildew-y scent. There was always a lack of communication and we received unprofessional emails. We were not updated or responded to in a timely fashion, and when someone did respond, it was extremely unhelpful.
For the first six months of living here everything seemed to be going smoothly. After the sixth month, the only problem we had was the daily roaches that showed up twice a day coming from (what seemed like) no where. Side note, you pay $6 a month for pest control that doesn't seem to be working at all and somehow management blames it on you. Little did we know that was only the beginning of our problems. First, management left a letter on our door giving us less than a 24 hour notice before construction began the next morning. Management gave us a few letters with scheduling which was helpful at first until they stopped following it. Construction guys would come in and out of our apartment on days that they weren't suppose to. Leaving us to keep our dog in a cage everyday because we did not know when they were coming inside. Anytime construction was done inside (replacing windows, doors, etc.) they would leave a massive amount of debris and dust on the floors and counters for us to clean when we get home. On top of that, they even sometimes would leave cans and garbage wrappers right outside the apartment! One night after they replaced the front door, it started raining and all the rain came through the door like a waterfall. Lots of water damage happened to the apartment that night. When we told management about it they covered up the water damage with paint and patched some of the drywall. The construction began mid June and it still wasn't done when we moved in the beginning of October. It gets worse. On July 25th, I came home to the downstairs completely flooded. One good thing I will say is that the emergency maintenance line was quick to come help. The rooms, our furniture, and the main bathroom were soaked. That same night someone came to vacuum the water up but it wasn't until the next afternoon that they installed blowers to dry the carpet. Management left the blowers on for a few days and then cleaned the carpet. Several days after, we would come home to a mildew smell that would not go away as many times as they cleaned it. Till this day we do not know what caused this flooding because we were given three different answers from management and maintenance. For all of these inconveniences we were not compensated in any way. We had decided to move at the end of our lease and it has been the best decision.
Just moved in, been here a little over a week now. The nice in process was smooth and efficient, the exterior is getting a much needed update but the interior of the units is still dated. Not at all a luxury apartment but he discounted price in rent makes up for it. Now I have to say, there is an extremely disturbing amount of bugs, roaches mostly, that seem to plague this complex. It may be due to construction or an issue with the pest control company they use but everyday so far I’ve seen roaches in my main bathroom and around my dining area window. The unit upon move in was not nearly as clean as it should have been for a move in day that was planned. Also, moving in while they had crews here doing construction was a nightmare but manageable. So far Maintenence has responded within a day to requests done online, I placed one with management and it never got entered, that will be addressed. As they are updating the outside of the units I can say they should have taken the time to redo the interior as well. The unit I received does not match the one I was shown and has some seriously annoying surprises. But I can say I’m currently looking for another apartment and will probably break my lease soon. I highly recommend waiting until they finish renovations and see if they will change the interior and deal with the massive roach issue or just don’t move here.
I have been at Stone Ridge at Vinings for almost 11 years. I moved here, because I really wanted my kids to go to Teasley Elementary School. I am still excited about that decision. Teasley has been such an impactful place for my kids and they have blossomed there. An amazing school experience without having to go to private schools, which I could not afford. This location is very good. I can get to my places of interest within 30 mins in any direction around Atlanta...Very hard to beat. I would not say that this complex has totally been Nirvana for me, however the good times outweigh the alternative. I am looking forward to more positive memories, as the whole complex is getting a huge modern makeover...Walls, windows and doors are being replaced. Apparently, the new windows and doors will keep the moisture out and help control the humidity level in the units. The windows will also have UV-Light protection and that sounds very good. We can never over-protect ourselves against the sun rays. In summary, my brood and I have enjoyed living here and look forward to a happier future as the complex gets all the improvements applied to it.
A new company took over at the beginning of the year (2019) saying they were going to make things better but it's only getting worse. Most office staff and maintenance workers are rude and non-communicative. We never received notice about the huge renovation project--something that should be told to residents many months in advance. They've taken away our laundry access and insisted we should look into buying a portable small washer on Amazon. Ridiculous considering we were promised those amenities. Roaches are everywhere. We pay a monthly pest fee but we've never seen one pest control truck in our year of being here. I'm begging you, do not move here! The pictures and new renovations look great but it is the worst place I've ever lived.
Boyfriend & I went to tour after seeing this place online. Immediately got a weird vibe. He told the lady that they did a great job of taking pictures because the place looked nothing like it did online. She agreed. Every building looks terrible. She tried to justify that they’re renovating but the renovated ones still look scary.
I viewed the property looking forward to applying and getting the discount. I was surprised to find the apartments look nothing like advertised in photos. The flooring was good but the paint job was mediocre. Additionally, the staff is great very attentive and honest. They are being renovated and under new management so it depends on your budget. But for me after seeing the spider webs and the eating away wood I decided not to apply. I recommend looking before applying because they may have been updated.
All of the buildings in this complex were built in the 70's, and they haven't been updated since. The only ones they've cosmetically updated is that cute townhouse they show you on the tour. The windows aren't sealed properly, and our A/C doesn't work, so it's been around 50-64 degrees in the apartment during the winter. When a maintenance guy came to repair it, he said he'd be back the next day with someone else, and he never came back. We talked to the leasing office ourselves, since their online maintenance is slow, and he still never came back. Now the apartment is under new management, and it's been almost 2 months with no online rent or maintenance. Our entire building is infested with cockroaches. It's not like seeing one cockroach every few weeks. We've seen up to 20-30 cockroaches in our kitchen all at once, while the sink and counters were clean and free of any food lying around. We usually see about 10 in the bathroom throughout the day. They love to shower with you and crawl on the counters and walls. Management knows about the cockroaches, and they're so cheap they make you pay for your own pest control fee each month. Well, when you have an infestation like this, no amount of pest control is going to make a dent in the amount of cockroaches. This building needs to be fumigated or torn down. It's unethical to let people move here. They painted the countertops with splotches of black dots, so you wouldn't be able to tell how much cockroach poop there is on your counters. When we talked to a leasing agent about this issue, she admitted she lives here and has to deal with it too. Then gave us tips on what pesticides actually work. I don't think she realizes she shouldn't have to live here either. This place is cheap and for a reason. Stay FAR away from this place. The chance of you having a good living experience here is slim to none.
Honestly one of the worst places to live. The staff is horrible except for 2-3 people. Also the way they take care of the residents is poor. Most of the homes here are vacant and unable to be rented as of this review.
I'm sure this place will be condemned in the next few years. After a long day, it's hard to come home and see the things you work for covered in roaches, next to a water leak stain. It's too embarassing to invite people over.
I stay in a renovated apartment..Is it worth it No!!!!. Too much money for this property to ask for, for a 2 star property..you are paying for the area..I found mice and the cockroaches OMG..Im so ready to move...The buyer beware applies here. Its a shame this apt has so much potential. The property is older so you will get a nice treat to smell all the oldness. Ive been trying to get them to fix the sink to dishwasher ratio..What do I mean..well my sink water drains to the dishwasher...yeahhhhhh.
If I could give this dump zero stars I would. I literally hate this place with a passion. I've put in over 30 work orders within 4 months. The maintenance team is joke. This dump is not worth paying your money for. Please please please don't move here. You will regret it. They be nice to you at first in the office and then they become very rude. Sometimes they won't even put in your work order. The bugs are so huge they look at you. The excuse is the lake. There is cob webs everywhere. Spiders drop like flies. This place have a serious bug issue. My lease is not up until Jan but I don't think I can survive this place any longer. When it rains my living room gets wet and this happen every time it rains. The bedrooms get wet as well. They put a notice on my door about charging me for rent for a dog and I don't even have a dog. They will find anyway to steal your money. You will make he biggest mistake of your life if you decide to rent here. The people in the office writes reviews so don't believe the good ones.
I have to say this was the worst complex I have ever lived in. I moved here from out of state and had called in advance to secure an apartment. I filled out the paperwork, was approved, and sent in my fees. A week before my move the complex stopped responding to my calls. Finally reached someone 2 days before my move and was assured everything was fine. When i arrived with all my belongings in a Uhaul they told me they weren't sure which apartment to give me and I waited 4 hours before finally being shown to an apartment. The place was falling apart when I went inside. Carpet was ratty, counters scuffed up, there were at least 2 leaks and the appliances were dirty. But I was stuck so I moved in. From there, no less than 5 times did my water stop working for at least a day at a time due to damaged pipes. My water from the sink often came out brown for a few seconds and smelled terrible. My computer was ruined from a leak from above. And twice they changed my locks without telling me because they lost the key to my unit. I also went a week without hot water because they could not figure out how to fix a problem with the plumbing. Make sure you have them show you the actual unit you will live in if you are brave enough to go check ths place out. Dont let them pull a bait and switch of showing you a nice "show apartment" only to move you into a dump. I finally escaped after buying a house only to be called months later by a collection agency. Apparently I had a balance on my account which had been turned over to collections. When I gave back my keys I was assured everything was closed out and fine. It boggles my mind that they turned this small amount over to collections instead of mailing or calling me to pay it. I was happy to pay what I owed but to not contact me and then to turn me over to a collection agency is inexcusable but is par for the course for the inept way they run this business.
I decided to move here because of the location, the price was right, good elementary school and I like the layout of the townhouse. That said, it has been a big disappointment. I read the reviews of others and figured with new management, things might be different..NOT! After getting my application approved I was given a move in date and address. A few days before I was supposed to move in, I got a call asking me to change my move in date because the place was still being repaired. That was inconvenient to me because I had to pay extra for storage, had to give me landlord more $ to stay longer, had to cancel movers, had to change utility turn on info-I did it anyway. Then again, 2 days before I was supposed to move I got a call saying it wasn't ready and they were going to give me a different apartment. Then one day before I was supposed to move in, I went to look at the second apartment they assigned to me. It wasn't what I wanted. Turns out, I was given the wrong apartment. Now this makes two times that I had to call utility companies and deliverers. At this point, I was already aggravated but I didn't have time to apply somewhere else. When I moved in, the tub needed to be resurfaced-I was told it would be fixed in a few days- 6 weeks later, still not fixed. The heat was not working downstairs and it was nearly 18 degrees outside. They did fix that immediately. The bathroom fixtures are falling apart and I just moved in! They paint on the walls comes off-how do I know? Because I have had to kill two bugs that were crawling on the walls and when I wiped it, the paint came off! Oh yeah, I have seen one water bug, maybe 5 or 6 baby roaches and a medium sized roach, and spiders. I know that GA in general has bug problems but this is crazy. The floors squeak and are not level, you can hear every thing your neighbors do. When they do laundry or run the dish washer, it sounds like its in my apartment. Oh yeah, the dish washer was dirty when I moved in, the refridgerater is falling apart. I could go on. I have only been here for a month and a half and I am already looking forward to moving. The only reason I am staying through my lease is because I plan to buy a house at the end of my lease and don't want to move 3 times in one year. I have lived in a lot apartments in and around Atlanta and Stone ridge at Vinings is the worst!
I have lived here since april (its now September) and there is only one good thing i could say, location. I love the location but the property group and the aite itself is not great. My floor has flooded 4 times in the kitchen and idk how many times in my living room. After calling them and calling them they finally "fixed"the leak in the kitchen bh just digging out a ditch around our porch so it wont flood. The. They covered up the roof to fix the leak in my living room. This is not okay to me b.c there could be mold in my walls (like there is next door) and they arent testing for it or care to fix it. We are now moving (im pregnant and refuse to put my health or babys health at risk) and now they wanna come take a look at the dry wall and try to offer us something. No. We are moving and i cant wait. I normally never leave bad reviews but i cant lie, i would not reccomend anyone moving to this apartment complex.
In search of a great apartment, I landed on Stone Ridge at Vinings. The leasing office is full of sweethearts, the most polite maintenance team, and the most relaxing and beautiful location in Atlanta! I couldn't be happier with my new apartment, and my daughter and I look forward to making great new memories here!
It felt like the old mgmt. gave up on this place. No one cared to help with anything. Everything was falling apart, cigarette smells from people next door coming through the divider walls. Bugs. It's tough to cool the upstairs properly. New mgmt has begun to renovate units as renters are moving out, but the bones on the units are the same and I believe that it's going to be like trying to polish a terd and charging more for it. Area is great, people are nice, but the new pricing for renovated units is likely to turn away renters including me.
Moving here to GA 5 years ago, it's been some trying times. Moving to Stone Ridge was initially the worst decision I'd thought I made. After living here for 3 1/2 years, it is now under new Management. The new staff has updated the property and now is the ideal place to live and feel safe. The amenities are amazing and the staff is so warm and helpful! I'm so grateful that I hung in there and stayed here. Every place you want to visit in GA is in or near this complex and the scenery alone is a blessing. A place I now call home.
