Property Ratings at The Hamptons
Don't move here if the pool is a main selling point because you will only get to use it for about half the summer, maybe less! So far this year, it was open for Memorial day, closed the very next day, opened back up some time last week, and today we got an email that it's closed again for an undetermined amount of time. Make sure you check if it's open before you pack up your bags and lug all your stuff down there because it's probably not! I will say that we have never had an issue with maintenance or rude staff. We're moving for other reasons, and lived here for over a decade without any major issues. However, the pool situation has gotten worse the past few years and it's become a major frustration. I can understand issues popping up here and there, but we pay for these accommodations and should be able to enjoy them for the majority of the summer!
I have lived here for 4 1/2 years. The location is perfect. Parking sometimes can be a problem. Maintenance is great. The office staff has always been available. I am thinking about moving to Spartanburg. I hope I can find a place I can enjoy as much as I have The Hamptons
They are lucky that 1 star is the lowest I could go. You constantly have water seeping through the cracks in the doors and windows, causing mold to build up which is very unhealthy. Management is very bad to say the least and that is me being generous! Oh and please don’t try to complain about anything, the property manager will waste your time and take you for a joke!
Management is horrible, the walls are super thin. They make you sign a noise agreement in your lease but if you report someone for being to loud. Nothing ever happens. My neighbors are constantly loud every day and I’ve filled multiple complaints and have asked to move and management ignores me.
They are always prompt to repair anything that is broken. Recently had to have my A/C unit coil replaced. I can't imagine how expensive that was but they did it without blinking an eye. Apartment was very clean when I moved in and the grounds are always well maintained. I have been here a year now and am renewing my lease for another year.
I just moved here and I like the community, the neighbors are super nice , the office manager she’s great , I love the location and my apartment is extremely nice and spacious
I have lived here for about five months now. I love the location-20 minutes to Clemson, 35 to Greenville, and close to lots of retail stores and restaurants. The complex is quiet, and I don’t often hear traffic. The apartment itself isn’t terrible but it’s not super clean either. The painters did a sloppy job-hair stuck to the walls with paint overtop, door hinges and light switches covered in paint, and overspray on the cabinets. The carpet is fairly new but the cabinets could use upgrading. The trim boards aren’t the best. You can tell theyhave a lot of coats of paint on them. The bedrooms are spacious and the windows let in a lot of light which is nice. I’m shocked that with living in the south, they didn’t at least install ceiling fans. The maintenance has been very responsive when I’ve needed repairs and almost always get it done the day I report it. The complex isn’t the type to hold community events or anything so if that’s something you’re looking for, you won’t find it here. Also, I don’t know if people here just don’t know how to lock and unlock their cars or what, but I hear car alarms going off almost every other day. Overall, not terrible but it’s nothing special. It’s a standard apartment that isn’t super New so if you’re a person who wants something super super clean, this might not be the best for you. But for the price and location, it’s not bad.
I have lived here for 1.5 years ,my apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in , new carpet , fresh paint , extremely clean , complex has very friendly neighbors , management are great super nice , maintenance is quick and super nice , fixes any problems right the first time ,great place if you have pets ,neighbors that have pets are friendly with pets when they meet each other , laundry facility is clean and always working , nice solid brick building , feel safe if any storms come , excellent location , close to all the restaurant's ,would recommend to anybody needing a apartment n Anderson , and the price is great got to be one of the best in town
I really like the location of the apartments, as they are right in the middle of everything. It's very spacious and the bedrooms are bigger than normal. I've lived in three apartments and this one is by far the nicest one so far.
These apartments are really nice for the price. It's really quiet and every one is friendly. Management is always trying to help and not uptight. Me and my roommate has not had any problems and maintenance is really fast and good. I'm glad I chose this apartment complex for my home.
