Property Ratings at The Hamptons
The maintenance workers don't fix anything that is broken they take for ever to fix it. They make up excuses for everything. This place is a joke please don't move here
If I could give this place no stars I would the entrance looks amazing an the leasing office looks great they show you the model that does not look like the actual apartment. They tell you that they have a pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, and rec center but nothing works. They claim the pool is being worked on but I haven’t seen anyone working on it an I’ve been there at least 6 different times, the basketball courts have no rim, the tennis courts have no net. It’s literally just a black top the rec center is now the maintenance office which I can’t understand why because nothing seems to be getting fixed at least not the apartments in the back. The ones they don’t show you! It’s says that it’s a gated community but none of the gates work and the gate on one particular side looks likes someone crashed into it and they haven’t even picked it up. They say that it will eventually be fixed. Also it doesn’t look like they have had anybody come clean their outside in years was gonna move in but decided not to and I suggest you do the same turn away while you still have the time!!!!!!!! Also the women in the leasing office have attitudes and are very unprofessional & unorganized they tell you one thing an someone says another I wouldn’t spend my money there so I wouldn’t suggest you spend yours!
Was trying to get a mailbox key for over a month. Finally received it three days ago after moving in the month of February. Mailed the check to a family member at the mailing address. They could not get in the mailbox. The apartment complex did not set up the box or tell anyone to set up the box. I guess it was annotated as vacant, therefore the mailman returned the check. We were told there would be no late fees, because it’s their fault that they never gave us a mailbox key. Mind you, they’ve been asked several times. The response was always, they were busy. They are now telling us we owe a late fee of $5 each day. I’ve been calling the corporate since yesterday, with no return phone call to pay without the late fees. This is not the way to do business. Still no returned calls from anyone.
1. Waking up to no water in the entire complex with no timeframe on when the work will be finished is the norm. 2. If you have any work that needs to get done, they won't let you know they're sending maintenance, won't schedule a time with you, and if you're not in your apartment, they still try to come inside even being told they're not allowed in without you home. 3. Leaks aren't a priority. Nor is having working appliances. Both issues I faced within the first few months of moving in 4. Don't count on the front office to be accurate when they tell you your paperwork is being processed and to expect an answer soon. Same goes for move in date. We had to wait 1.5 weeks from the time they said our apartment was getting the finishing touches before move in. After we had already signed everything and they said that we could move in. 5. The front office is a cesspool of rude and incompetence. Any issues I've tried to express are immediately disregarded and even go as far as to pass the blame for the situation onto you the customer, when clearly the issues aren't the tenants fault, ie. Leaks and ceiling damage, none of the outlets in the apartment being able to keep anything plugged in, nails/screws poking out of wood where maintenance 'completed' work. This list goes on. 6. Police come by here almost daily and not because this is part of the patrol route. Have literally seen the police park outside one of the buildings announcing that they knew the suspect was in the apartment and to come out wither their hands up. Also, watched them break into the unit when no one came out. 7. Gunshots at night, and at time during the day. Financial reasons call for my family and I staying here, but as soon as we can, we're leaving. Impossible to try to live a normal life when the place you live seems to not want you there. Do Not Move Here.
This place looked great online and even in person. The apartments are big and the price is reasonable for what you get. 2 bedroom/2 bath, washer dryer in unit and much more. Sounds good, right? I thought so. Then I moved in. After the first day I was sorry I moved in. This place seems to like to rent upper floor units to families with small kids. Having them run around all day is enough to drive you nuts fast. How about heavy walkers above you? Yup, got them. How about people hanging out on their balcony above you getting drunk at 2 AM? Got them too. How about blasting rap music driving around the parking lot all night? That's here too. Management gave out an after hours security number but I've never had anyone answer it. That makes me feel safe. The people in the office are oblivious to everything except creating work orders (which I've had good luck getting done) and taking your money on the first of the month. I'm looking forward to the end of my lease. In the meantime I'll take the time to be more selective on my next place.
The hamptons apartments is not the best in the world but very affordable for somebody who is barely starting their life together. The Apartments are not bad, complete inside with a washer and dryer. But if you are looking for a fancy apartment, its not the place. For me, I dont mind it as of now with 2 kids and my gf we are barely starting. Pools are not the that big but their is a couple.
the Apartment i am in is to expand no good is imperfection bugs and the landlord doesn't do nothing that's why I want to leave here soon as possible
