All great. We are truly grateful for a new environment, more space , a more polite management workers. Very clean and quite. Maintenance responds very quick thank ?? u. We pray that the living conditions and people stay the same but of course there is always better. Thank you

The Hartley is a great place to live. It is very clean, safe, the amenities are great and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and responsive. My only issue is the amount of smoke you can smell for this to be a smoke free building. You can smell it in the hallways and when the windows are open.

While staff and support staff are amazing there is a lot left to the imagination where the community currently is. Fire alarms, domestic violence, loud neighbors are all part of living within this complex. Don't expect anything less than this truth!

The Hartley is a wonderful place to live in. The location is perfect, the amenities wonderful, and so is the staff. If you can afford it and looking for an apartment, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

We just moved in and so far everything has been pretty good! The common spaces seem clean and well-maintained, and the staff are very kind. Looking forward to living here!

Turnover in concierges is telling. They were friendly and supportive. Units are not built well. I have cracks in the paint…again, I believe from the stomping of the upstairs neighbors. They are up all hours of the day and night. Woke up one night to water pouring through my ceiling lights in kitchen because of something they did . If you rent here, beware of leasing a unit in the back as the trucks for Whole Foods and to pick up trash are here for what feels like 24/7. Also beware that they expect you to buy rugs to mute the noise for the downstairs neighbors. I don’t think it works. Just poorly constructed.

Nice apartment building with friendly staff. Slightly pricey but for the location it is worth it. Everything is walking distance and the neighborhood is lovely

Love it here ! The best apartment I’ve had and I’ve been here for a year I love the amenities and events .very pet friendly and they respond quickly to emails!

Great building. I love the gym and the game room. There is a square in front and the police are present. They always have events. The coffee is great and the staff is very friendly.

I like the way the building is designed, the pool and the hem are wonderful. I think the building is not kids/ families oriented enough. the kids don't have space to play.

I love it here it's so beautiful and my neighbors are so sweet and nice and we have so much fun here and it's a clean building and everyone looks out for one either

Customer Service is exceptional, all of the staff are pleasant and professional. Super kudos to the Concierge team always very meticulously dressed. and above and beyond with service.

The move in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Anthony for his excellent service, kindness and professionalism. He even offered to help with the heavy items. (However, that was not needed). Chase was quick and efficient during our many requests for information and help prior to moving in day. The initial signing of the lease was very quick and easy. Thanks to all!

I recently moved to The Hartley and it has been a pleasant experience. The staff has been very friendly and they clarify all my questions. On the few occasions that I have crossed paths with a resident they have also been friendly. The facilities are well maintained and the community seems to be safe and clean.

Very friendly staff and they made me feel welcome upon move in. Impressed about the security of the building and how maintenance takes care of everything in the unit!

My husband and I really enjoy living at the Hartley. The location is great, the amenities are awesome and the staff is amazing. We moved from FL but happy to be here in DC now.

All the staffs are courteous, attentive and helpful, they explained everything vividly, ever ready to answer my question either by phone or in person

So far, the experience has been great. The concierge team is so friendly. The amenities look well maintained. The neighborhood is great and people are friendly. I love my unit and everything seems in order. If I had two small complaints, it would be lack of guest parking options and the need for a carpeting rule since I can hear my upstairs neighbors walking around more than I would like, but those two things are very minor.

What a beautiful building! I’m really looking forward to moving in. The amenities are well thought-out and the apartment just the right size.

Everything is fine, overall. Still some first year glitches here and there. I have more concern with resident behavior (noise, smell of weed, abuse of workout room) than before but staff is respectful. There are definitely things I will miss when I move.

The apt complex is very nice with great amenities, however the staff is really what makes this place a great place to live. I’ve lived here since July and although construction is happening all around, my apt is quiet and quaint.

We have had two leaks in our apartment since July, one of which was due to an improper refrigerator installation and required the flooring to be removed in the kitchen and bedroom for several days, and all we were offered as compensation was a Whole Foods gift card. The flooring by the outdoor grill is also broken and instead of fixing it, the building has surrounded it with traffic cones for months. The retail around the area has also been slow to open and it’s still just Whole Foods at this point. Overall, we are still optimistic that the building and area will be nice in a few months, but wouldn’t recommend it now.

The Hartley has really exceeded my expectations! Staff is amazing and the building is wonderful. It’s quiet and the neighbors are all so friendly.

I love the amenities here and most of the staff is pleasant. Always smells nice too! Maintenance is quick and efficient. Easy moving process as well. Overall, great experience.

Unfortunately we aren't as happy as we were when we initially moved in. The constant smell of marijuana in the elevators and throughout the hallways is overwhelming. Also music is extremely loud, particularly during working hours and late nights past permitted times.

I've been living at The Hartley for about 4 months now, and I couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and responsive, the amenities are top-notch, and the sense of community here is wonderful. It truly feels like home!

Hi all, We love to be here. The building are clean and all the facilities are in a good shape. The staff are doing a great job here and they are very considerate and try to help all the time. Further more the management are doing a lot of events for us.

I have only been here a week but I have 0 complaints! The staff, amenities, and apartment are all amazing. The move in process was smooth as well.

Really nice apartment, amenities and staff. Dog friendly, our dog loves it here. Cute community events in the apartment building and right outside on the lawn. Would live here again!

So far my experience has been great. The team is always prompt with answering any questions I have and is always pleasant! The building is extremely clean and the amenities are literally exactly as they appear online.

The best amenities around! Great customer service and a Whole Foods underneath my apartment. I just spent my first night here and can't wait for more.

Moved in early July. Process was relatively smooth, with some hiccups that keep it from being a full 5 stars. Called 2 weeks prior to move-in to reserve freight elevator, connected to front desk. Front desk took message but didn't actually reserve, resulting in gap between movers and elevator availability and wasted time. On inspection, bathroom doors didn't latch, had to call in maintenance to fix. On inspection, several outlets discovered to have no power connected, still waiting on electrician to come in and connect. Apartment is livable, just not very convenient at the moment. Cass from the leasing office is great, super helpful at communicating and facilitating fixes, just wish we didn't have to rely on him so much. Amenities and area seem really good, excited to live here once the issues get fixed

So far so good! The approval process took longer than I expected. I have never waited a week to get approved however the actual Move in was seamless.

Move in was bumpy; had to wait for loading dock even though we had it was reserved. I love that they have a loading dock though. The apartment had not been thoroughly inspected as they said and the parking stickers weren’t in. The additional fee for use of amenities is a trend I’m not found of, personally. I like the garage has a gate that separates it from Whole Foods parking. The amenities are small but nice - as are the apartment spaces. It smells nice all the time - the cleaning crew are immaculate. The concierge team are friendly and supportive. Walls are a little thin in places but it’s pretty quiet overall. The open space on the 2nd floor is perfect to relax. So far the neighbors seem to be connecting well - with me at least. It really is a nice community and building overall. It seems there’s a lot of effort for customer service- rare these days. I like it!
