This is the first time living in an apartment ~ The Hayden met all my needs especially welcoming my dog WallE. Very centralized to being close to my family, friends and shopping.

Nice complex, well kept grounds with water features throughout. Good location, walk to grocery, restaurants and other stores. Smaller complex with consistent staff who are extremely helpful and nice. A very welcome change to my previous rental.

4 minutes ago NEW I'm at this point so frustrated and upset with the Hayden. For one my car was stolen about 2 weeks ago. They don't have cameras which is also a safety issue. My keys were stolen on property. I have had several issues. Madison is great. However, these issues are starting to impact me and cost me financially. They issued me a Pay or Quit Notice yesterday due to me not paying the utility bill for Jan. I have never received such notice in my 15 years of living on my own. I didn't pay due to my autopay being set up for the first of the month. I receive a notice that the rent needs to be paid and the utility bill comes after that which is frustrating. Oh and they issued me a 75 dollar late fee for the utility bill without even calling me. They posted the pay or quit notice without calling me! this is truly draining and upsetting!

I was lied to upon moving in about how renovated and new everything would be! This apartment was filthy and full of non-functional appliances, a leaky roof and a terrible flea and roach infestation. Do yourself a favor and RUN. Its been days and Im still waiting for our deposit check as promised to get the hell outta here. I’ve lost so much weight from the anxiety, fear and lack of sleep of knowing bugs are biting me every day
I've only been at the Hayden for a month, but so far, I really like living here. It feels like a neighborhood rather than an apartment complex, it is very clean and well maintained. I'm very happy to be here!
Nice, Quiet ,Clean Community With Great Amenities.
It's fairly good for the money, but if you like hot water be ready to wait about 5 minutes for hot water to come out of your faucet. They told me that it is normal here. Just be prepared for the twist. As well as parking, good thing there is a large parking lot across the street, park there and walk a ways to your apartment.

The price is a little much for the amenities like parking.
Management seems great thus far, Shannon gives a very professional and welcoming experience
I would definitely recommend to friends and family to strongly consider renting an apartment here because of the cost, the manor in which the outside is kept clean and the immaculate way the apartment was when we arrived.
You have a lot of people living here but there is so many perks about this apartment complex you have a gym now a pool a spa a laundry room the parking is a little irritating but hopefully as time goes on you guys will figure that out. I I would say I would recommend everything about these apartments but the parking

Neighbors to side and underneath smoke all day and night, bathroom smells like an ashtray. Managements response was to call security when they are smoking. Grass around property always loaded with dog Pooh. Ants raiding the kitchen on the daily. Other than that, it’s an okay place.

Attention to maintenance requests are quick and resolved almost immediately.
I really like the wood floors, new appliances, new cabinets, amount of storage and central air conditioning. The laundry rooms continue to be in a state of flux. While one has been renovated, the other has been turned into a weight room. I believe that one laundry room is inadequate for an entire complex of residents.
I wish I could leave 0 star rating. Do not move here or do business with any property management company associated with Haven Martinez. I lived in this complex for 2 1/2 years prior to Haven taking over. I moved our Dec 10, 2019. I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owed $1800 for past due rent. I called the apt and the new Apt manager Torey apologized and said she would contact the collection agency and asked if I could give her 1 day to correct it and get back to me. It’s been over 3 weeks. I’ve left messages with no reply. Today I go to inquire about my deposit that I still Haven’t received as well the collections actions and Torey says once I move out the property she no longer has to talk to me and only spoke with me as a “Courtesy”. I asked for information for someone higher than her that could help me and was told I could google the property management Pinnacle who is in charge of their property for the number. I asked if the Pinnacle location she was referring was in Walnut Creek Because that was the only one that showed up and she says they have a lot of locations. She wouldn’t give me any information on how to reach or contact anyone else and that it was our of her hands. In regards to me deposit I was told I needed to contact the collection agency, request a letter stating I owe nothing and then submit to the property for my deposit back. What sense does this make? This wasn’t a mistake on my behalf and I was told that they would correct the problem and call me once it was corrected. None of that happened and now I’m told it’s out of her hands. I’m beyond disappointed, I feel helpless. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful don’t begin to describe the treatment I’ve received.

Do not move here. No washer and dryers in unit. Car alarms go off all night . Domestic disturbances, noise complaints, car break ins . You name it ! New Manger is very unprofessional. No handicap parking . Someone always parks in my parking spot . Maintenance does not repair anything . Please move somewhere else .

Peaceful place to live, cute apartment and Very convenient close to grocery stores and freeway.
Conveniently located and lovely natural look with the creek and landscaping. Pet friendly and reasonably priced. Neighbors are friendly and generally quiet during quiet hours.
I'd recommend the community because it's in a good location and the neighbors and staff are really nice. But the apartment itself, I think, could be improved.
I love my apartment The only thing I don't Like is the rent! It is WAY to high!
