Originally named Howell's Crossing after a cotton merchant named Evan Howell, Duluth was renamed in 1871 after a flowery speech given in Congress by Rep. J. Proctor Knott condemning the expansion of the railroad to Duluth, Minnesota as wasteful. The over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek description of the northern city inspired residents of the Georgia town to rename their community Duluth. Today, Downtown Duluth is a busy, attractive suburb of Atlanta, offering a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Downtown Duluth has a town green, located along Main Street on the southwest side of City Hall. Historic Downtown Duluth features a variety of businesses, theaters, gift stores, art galleries, and cafes. Some favorite downtown destinations include the Maple Street Biscuit Company, the Good Word Brewing & Public House, and the Red Clay Music Foundry.

Property Ratings at 2370 Main @ Sugarloaf
Good place to live but this place has the worst violation rule in this county. First - Rent fee - if you are late for your rent and is not paid every 1st day, they will place a vacancy notice onto your door right next day along with late payment of 150USD. Second - Trash regulation - this is on mandatory lease contract with monthly fee of 65 USD only works on SUN - Thurs after 6PM. Sometimes, they do not take your trash. If your trash is placed without a bin, you get 150 USD violation fee. I left my trash out on Sunday, no one took it. They do not want to change this and does not even want to bring it up to landlord. FYI, the public trash can is way far from your apartment. Third - Pet regulation - they have worst pet regulation here. They do not clean the poops even though there is a lot of them in the hallway of the apartment. Fourth - Emergency maintenance call - they are gonna come but in like 3 days. It is not emergency help if you cannot deliver at least on the same day Fifth - REGULATIONS - this should be house/home, NOT a work place that has a lot of regulations. This is absurd and absolute nonsense. Please consider all the above violation rules before signing your lease. I am pretty sure not everyone is fond of what they are doing. If you want to preserve the area clean, start by cleaning some of your regulations.

I visited this property since I am thinking about relocating. The apartments are spacious and nice. No carpets! Great with pets! The gym is nice too!

Dear Resident, Thank you for your fantastic 5-star review of 2370 Main at Sugarloaf! We are so pleased to know that Brenda made such a good impression on you. We would love to have you as a valued resident!
Where do I begin? For anyone who wants a beautiful community that is peaceful and well maintained this is not the community for you. While it is advertised as a non smoking community the hallways smell of garbage, animal waste or my the most potent marijuana. Residents leave their trash cans filled with trash outside the designated hours and management doesn’t care. Read the reviews careful of current or past residents. A lot of the new reviews are people who are touring the community. The leasing manager is nice and pleasant but seems very passive when it comes to enforcing community guidelines. We have always received our deposit for every community we’ve ever lived in. We were charged an extra $120 for normal wear and tear paint when we lived in the apartment for 4 years. This community use to be beautiful and amazing. The last year with all the management changes was enough to cause many of our friends to move out due to similar problems.

I really like the property. I find that maintenance requests are quickly dealt with and office requests are also taken care of speedily. My apartment itself is nice. There is room for improvement and I was told that several things have been approved. Cameras are being installed in the leasing office lobby, package room, business center, library , and most importantly the pool deck. The pool closes at 9pm but people are out there way past that and the pool area gets trashed. Now the cameras will be monitored 24/7 by a surveillance company. Also sometimes the valet trash will skip a hallway or skip a day but the leasing management takes care of it. But those are things I can live with as they are not a reason to leave or skip this property. Overall I give 2370 4.5 stars.

2370 is an awesome place to live there are a few things they can improve but what community doesn't need improvement? Every time I need assistance the girls in the office are always there to help me especially Shea the Assistant Manager sometimes it's always something going on with the packages and she will stop to help me locate my package. I've seen her go above and beyond to make sure the buildings are clean with the trash in the hallways because some residents just don't like to follow rules but she tries to keep it in order. She has even sent me a few violations ?? despite how nice she is she still has a job to do. I have even seen her go out of her way and put her life at risk at the pool by implementing the rules if anyone is there after hours and she approaches anyone that is in smoking violation because that's not allowed on the property. The residents can be very disrespectful and speak to her like whatever when they don't get what they want or hear the word no when she has to force rules and doesn't say yes to everything they demand. I've even seen her on the property after hours to make sure things were good because she cares about the property and residents. She has helped me and so many other residents. I had an issue and Shea even assisted me with an application to get help with something. I've seen a lot of change at this property for the better. I see them working on trying to make the community great for the residents. Thank you 2370 Main it's a pleasure to live here and to see people go above and beyond. Oh and the Coffee Bar is amazing with the new added treats. ??

They are super friendly in getting you to sign a lease but as soon as you have a problem, nobody is as friendly. And nobody is willing to help. I just moved in not even a full month yet, and I have the most noisiest & loudest ppl living above me and the office has not once tried to make it better. They told me it was normal to hear the noises. And those noises include extremely loud thudding, arguing, stomping at all hours of the day/night. Regardless front office & the “courtesy officer” are all useless, when it comes to any issues. I’d rather pay to get out of my lease than to continue living in discomfort.

Hello, The apartments are in a great location. The management is awful. Jaci, doesn’t want to fix anything and she stares at you when you come in the office like she’s at home. She wants you to ask permission for her to help you. It’s the worst customer service ever. She asked me to apply for an apartment before seeing it. Once, I saw it, the carpet was dirty, toilet seats were not changed, and water pressure was low. The carpet had NOT be cleaned and it was 5 years old. They refused to replace it. They cleaned it twice. They refused to change toilet seats. This made me so upset. Not, only is it covid, it’s simply disgusting for all the rent they receive to not want to replace it or get it handled. I put and order in because my bathroom towel bar was broken and they refuse to fix it. I didn’t read the reviews before moving here and I should have. They have a horrible attitude about fixing problems as well! Do not move here! When, Jessica got involved the regional, she only changed the toilet seat. Two people witnessed her attitude as well.
I had Jaci as my leasing person and she was amazing she showed me the whole property and i feel in love with the place! Jaci was so helpful to find me exactly what i was looking for.
The team here is so helpful! My garbage disposal wasn’t working and Sarah made sure that maintenance was out to my apartment that day.
The inside of the apartment is beautiful with granite countertops, crown molding, wood floors, an a good amount of space. Now we have new management that has taken over and they LIE SO MUCH! Stay away and find another place to live!
I have been living at this location for over a year. I have to start off by complementing the staff there, they are really nice, especially Jill. It is very clean in the main building, but in the other buildings, hallways have too many bugs (they should close up the open windows/front doors in the building)... My main concern at this place is how every move my upstairs neighbor makes, I hear it therefore makes me feel terrible about me even walking across my apartment so that the downstairs neighbor isn't bothered. I wake up early in the morning to go to work so I feel bad about my neighbor downstairs having to hear me walking. Also, I can hear everything next door. I have smelled "strange" smells in the hallway, not sure if people are smoking or what it is, I have seen management address the issue once in a while. The washing/drying machines, they are usually taken, people leave clothes in there (not management fault) and they leave the machines at times dirty. I put in a load of laundry in the drying machine ones and all of my clothes has ended up stained with some type of marker/paint. Not sure what it was, but had to throw away most of it.... Lastly, this place is a rental, the fact that they do not have lights in the living room or bedrooms is not a good thing. I am not sure why I should buy something for an apartment, when all I am doing is renting it. They have about 5 lights in the kitchen, but not one light in the bedroom. They have them in the bedroom closet, walkway but not the actual room. Overall, I do like the staff, the maintenance guys are great, they are genuinely nice but the fact that the place charges so much for rent, they should improve some of the things. I am sure I am not the only one posting about it, or complaining about it.
I have lived in my apartment for about 6 months now and don't have plans to leave. The location is perfect. The apartment itself has what look to be original, beautiful real hard wood floors. The living room is a decent size. The bedroom is large and has closet space. The bathroom is my favorite. Lots of cute details and built-ins. On top of that, the community of this neighborhood is amazing. I have to say they don't give enough credit to their staff! They are absolutely amazing! There is a maintenance guy named Antwain (yes I asked) he is a great asset to the company. If you need anything ask for him. He will make sure it gets done in a timely manner & it's fine the right way. Jill in the leasing office is another phenomenal worker, such a sweetheart. This community is equipped with the everyday luxuries you need and the stylish extras you crave.
Started off great, the inside the apartments beautiful granite countertops, fake wood floors, good amount of space. But they sold me on things that didn't stick for the full contract. Started off Monday-Friday grab n go breakfast that changed to 3 days a week. Valet trash comes when it wants and you get fined if you don't follow the trash rules. The employees look down on you. Just overall bad experience and I'll leave it there ....
Windows and structures are not well insulated. Didn't expect to have such thin walls you can hear below and across people conversing and shutting cabinet doors . Also, the train rides by often and sounds like your windows are open even tremble. During summer need to keep A/C running day and night which runs electric bill averaging over $200. Everything that looks like wood is cheap laminated cabinets and floors. Only the main building has an elevator and taller entry doorway lead to each apt. The walkways are dusty and bugs from the woods are everywhere you can't even walk without ducking or stepping on ginormous flying bugs, spider webs trail all the way up and down stairways. There are 2 nice grills but only 1 works. Their breakfast perks are embarrassing and serve atrocious cheap pastries, cereals and bagels served 3x per week. Office personnel seem nice but that's because they live on property. The laundry room is the size of a closet and only has 4 washer and dryes. They do not address concerns proactively and claim they do when you see a service ticket closed out. There is a huge family in the main building that practically live outside and their kids roam around building, galloping at poolside bouncing basketballs and there is no hoop on property. The rent is extremely expensive for the luxury faux dream they market. I had high hopes while live my here.
We lived at the Heights for 6 months before moving in to a house and really enjoyed our time there. The apartments are modern and luxurious. The pool is gorgeous and the gym is well equipped. The amenities are great! The staff does an excellent job in maintaining the facilities and is very responsive to service requests. The office staff is outstanding! They are professional, courteous, accommodating and always helpful. We had a terrific experience with Cristy in the front office throughout our stay there. She is always willing to help and she went out of her way to assist us when we had to move out. Five stars! Highly recommended!
I couldn't be happier here. The service is top notch, the place is very well kept, and the apartments (which are stunning) are an absolute steal for the rental rates. Staff went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of.
I have been living here for 8 months. The property is very clean and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all needs or concerns are met.
