The Heights at Worthington Place

I give 5 stars times 100 about the Heights. Everybody that works, Aria, Kaylynn, Garrett and Leon are amazing and go above and beyond! I hope I can be here for a long time!:)

The staff at The Heights at Worthington Place have been amazing! Their response time is fast. They are very professional and knowledgeable. And fun to work with! Helping guide me through needing to downsize and find the right unit to call home. Both Kaylynn and Aria have listened to what is important to me and made great recommendations. Thank you both very much!

I just finished my first year of living at The Heights at Worthington Place. I like living there so much that I just signed up for another year. The location is awesome with lots of businesses, as well as green spaces, you can walk to. And the Columbus area bike trails are very easy to access. The staff at The Heights is amazing. The team of Erin, Don Juan, Ben and Leon have become "friends and family". Issues are dealt with professionally and quickly. I highly recommend The Heights

I have lived at The Heights At Worthington Place for a year and just signed up for another year. The location and amenities are amazing. But the main reason I decided to stay another year is because of the incredible staff team of Erin, Don Juan, Ben and Leon. They have become “friends and family”. They get things done efficiently and quickly, always with a smile and great attitude! The Heights is a great place to live.

We needed an apartment for six months for an executive transition. The Heights seemed to be just right in location, with great unit layout, furniture rental through Cort and various amenities to be enjoyed. Erin and Donwaun have been wonderful, easy to work with and knowledgeable. I think this will prove to be a great space for both our current and future executive.

My boyfriend and I have lived here for the past two years and love it. We love the gym, the complimentary coffee, and all of the sweet people that work here.

Five plus stars!! Erin is a big reason I am moving my elderly mom into Worthington Heights complex! Awesome service, great apartments and great amenities! I feel so comfortable moving her there!

The community managers are really friendly and it's a very secure place. It's a little difficult to direct people into the building but it's worth it to feel safe. Unfortunately the water doesn't get hot, more just warm . Our laundry room also occasionally starts to reek but we haven't brought it up to anyone yet. The hotel style is really nice because it keeps a lot of heat in the place so we don't have to spend as much on electric. Overall a good place to live.

I love living at the Heights. The location is convenient to everything, the amenities are great and the staff are super friendly.

I am here because of the location and the swimming pool, but the apartments and lobby are very nice. And the staff, Adam, Zeytoon, and Kali have been very helpful. My only criticism is your changing staff too often--I just get to know someone (like Nathan) and they are gone/transferred. I hope you keep the current staff for a long time. The maintenance men are also great, very prompt and efficient. One other suggestion: we sometimes need carts for moving large items to the car, and I think we only have one, which is hard to get.

This place is awful. If you are thinking of living here, be warned that people are casing the parking garage to steal your cars and bikes. Worthingtons Heights inaction has been noticed by criminals. Two expensive bikes stolen in the parking garage, the locks were snapped. It had been an occuring event according to our neighbors and Worthington Heights never warned anybody that someone was consistently looting the garage for bikes. When I asked Worthington Heights for tenants to be warned about it, I was met with carelessness and inaction. No cameras put into the parking garage and no notices to take in valueables because the garage was a target. No alerts whatsoever about thefts on the property. At least they will hang up signs to ask other tenants to give them information about whose dog is pooping in the elevator! And at least we have updates about Jenis Icecream socials! A month later, today, my car along with three others car window was shattered and the door damaged and had things stolen out them. No acknowledgement will come of it either. Worthington Heights has cameras all over to protect their pool, their gym, their clubhouse but in the parking garage? Nothing. In hallways that should be locked? No cameras and the wings to our homes that need a key fob are consistently left unlocked by staff so anybody can enter the building. What if I had walked up to people busting my car? My safety and others safety is being seriously put at risk by Worthington Heights not taking any action. This was preventable and was handled poorly by staff, who had been warned many times. We will not be renewing our lease and will be warning anyone and everyone about where Worthington Heights priorities are and that they do nothing to warn tenants about their property being unsafe.

It’s been a week and a half since we moved in from NYC. And TBH, before we moved in The Heights seemed to me like a dream we couldn’t dream. And even after moving in, I’m a skeptic so I was hesitant to write a review too early. I wanted to see how the experience would materialize after we moved in. Hands down, it’s so much more than we thought. From day 1 Kali walked us through the application process step by step. When we met her there was 5 minutes left before they closed for the day but she made us feel like she had all the time in the world for all our questions. And we had lots. But in those few minutes we went from two nervous wrecks to two carefree lease signers. Her steady hand, accommodating hospitality, articulate sincerity, and warm smile are an asset to The Heights. Ari gave us the tours and made us feel at home. She was sweet and charming and answered more of our questions sealing the deal for us. They care! Nathan was there to hand us the keys at our move in day. We were super late but he was super accommodating and he put our minds at ease. He walked through next steps and made sure we had every tool at our disposal should anything unexpected arise... This is where the magic of The Heights went to the next level?? There were a few minor things to report including a problem with the flooring in the kitchen. Brody helped facilitate repairs in less than a days notice. They came in next day, assessed the areas of concern, got in contact with his supervisors and his team, and in less than 24 hours had the minor repairs taken care of and got the green light to have brand new kitchen floors put in for us. #BeastMode We’ve got a while to go before we fill up the apartment with new furniture and new memories, but this team has shown us that at The Heights at Worthington we’re home and we’re in good hands for the long haul. - Luis & Javaid

This is a fabulous apartment community thus far. The staff, especially Aria, are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome from the start. The maintenance team is responsive to requests, and the amenities are well-maintained. Highly recommend, great value!

This organization has/owns many housing communities that offer a comfortable and great homes / apartments to rent with amazing facilities at reasonable and competitive rates. Management staff is also friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with any queries about moving.

I am so glad to have discovered Champion Management, and their property that they more recently took over. They are doing such a great job with their plans, their renovation and especially with their communication. I am so pleased with the professionalism and kindness of Nathan, Kali and the Maintenance team. Although at the moment there are some renovations being done, it is going smoothly, and when finished will be amazing. There are some great things that this property has being hotel style- elevators, underground garage parking ( optional, and a fee). There is a nightly door to door trash pick up. There is also a coffee bar, a mailroom( packages are logged in), a Rooftop Lounge. Soon, a new Clubhouse, Fitness Center. The office and reception area are all part of the new renovation. I have had pretty immediate response for maintenance. The Champion App is quite easy to use, and pretty awesome.

The leasing associates will tell you one thing then do another! I’ve only been here almost two months and have experienced this THREE to FOUR times. I was told I’d get a free parking pass for 3 months, they cut it off at 2 instead. Don’t believe what they tell you during tour, before signing lease because once you sign it’ll be a WHOLE different story!!! Just Be careful, please!! It’s a really nice place by looks but sometimes you smell the sewage when neighbors above you flush & there may be an ant problem!

Since switching to Kalo Living, these apartments have gone downhill. They do not put any money into keeping the buildings looking nice. There are walls that needed repaired for months and months and they didn’t repair them. There are Kroger carts all inside the building and they can’t seem to fix the problem. Trash is left out on non trash pickup days and it will stink up the whole hallway. They did nothing to fix the actual problem, just sent out a reminder. You will have issues with management from day one. I have been moved out for months and have not received my deposit refund back. They fully acknowledge how much they owe me but after numerous attempts to get the money they owe me, I still have not received it. I highly recommend you do not move here. One of the emails they sent back to me, had a picture of the computer screen with my information and in the background you can see who currently lives in my old apartment, her email, and her phone number, and all of the information for former residents in that apartment. Your privacy is at risk.

My family and I have been living here for almost a year now and I wish I could be let out of my lease. The office staff is never in the office, nor do they return my calls. Maintance walks around smoking cigarettes more than he works and the walls are paper thin. My building has 4 floors, with a Great Dane dog above me. As you can imagine it’s extremely noisy from the dog running and jumping all day, everyday. And every time I make a complaint the office does/ says nothing. I always have to address the constant noise disturbance myself. Which has made my living arrangements very unhappy and uncomfortable as you could imagine. The location was desirable for my family but the unhappiness has over showered the location.

I love living here at The Heights. I am a single mother and looked long and hard on the perfect place for my son and I to live. The Heights is full of friendly residents and staff. My son and I feel very safe with the security codes to enter the hall ways and entry ways of the building. Also, it is nice living at a location where there is a Kroger literally right next door along with restaurants, etc., and also the quick access to I-270 where you can quickly travel to any part of Columbus. The maintenance team here is absolutely great. Ed, one of the maintenance men, has been a tremendous help to me. He has been to my apartment to help me with my garbage disposal on more than one occasion. Ed has also installed new blinds for my sliding glass door in living room, and tightened a hinge on my son’s bedroom door. Ed has done things he really didn’t have to do such as tighten the knobs on my dresser, put air in the tires of my son’s stroller, and help me rehang a wall coat rack that had fallen from when I tried to hang it myself. As a single mom, I really am thankful for Ed’s help. Also, the two people at the rental office, Jonathan and Hannah, are also absolutely amazing. I live on the same floor as the rental office, so often times I see Jonathan and Hannah as I am leaving my apartment. In the morning time, sometimes they are the first people we see as we are heading out of the apartment to start our day, and they are such a pleasure. They are friendly, easy to talk to, down to earth, good people. I can tell they really care about the residents and take pride in their jobs. Myself and other residents often go out of our way to say hello to them and their conversation is always really nice. They are even putting together events/parties for the residents here at The Heights. They are getting ready to do a Taco Tuesday event at our roof top pool. I am looking forward to that. I know looking for the right place to live is a big decision to make, especially if you have children. I am happy I found this place. If you are looking for a nice place to live, I highly recommend The Heights. They also usually have really good rent specials for people who are signing a new lease here. Like I said, I highly recommended.

Close to the shops, Kroger, and a medical clinic. Walls are paper thin. Revolting smells come out of the opening around the washer/dryer pipes. Common areas are not well kept especially stained carpets.

Total joke been a resident for 9 month. One night end of May try to enter main entrance 4th floor key fob does not work. Go to garage entrance door shut but unlocked. Try to go in elevator it is stuck on 2nd floor. Walk upstairs secured entrance to residents.... nope door unlocked. So zero security when supposed to be double secure. Oh yeah and pool supposed to open 3rd week of May? Nope heater broke. When will it be fixed. Management answer not sure so pool closed indefinitely.

The rental experience at the Heights was more than I could have ever asked for. In particular the rental manager, Jennie B, made the experience incredible. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, organized, and personable and made this such a smooth experience it was a delight to go through. The amenities are great, the location good and the apartment space is very nice. Check it out!

The Heights at Worthington Place has passed every expectation! Application was easy, the online application, payments, and work orders are done online, too, so it fits my busy schedule. Being in Worthington, a lovely suburb with good schools, right next to all of the restaurants at The Worthington Mall is incredibly convenient. The pool, rooftop terrace, pet wash station, and enclosed garage are killer amenities and worth every dime. Most of all, the apartment is lovely! The accent wall was an unexpected pop of life and the appliances work really well!! (All the other apartments I've lived at were clunky, old appliances OR they were new and I got charged for upgrades the landlord had to make anyway??) Washer/dryer in the apartment for free was awesome and saved me having to move and install one. Recommend this to your friends.

We moved in back in 2016 and loved it for the 1st year. Management team keeps changing and complaints about common area cleanliness and upkeep continue to fall on deaf ears. Construction in commercial space has been noisy outside of normal working hours. Yes, 6:15 am and sometimes going to 3 am. Additionally, management has shut off electricity and/or water 6-8 times outside of normal working hours even on a Saturday from 1-7pm. Residents comfort is NOT a priority. Walls are super thin. I can’t stress enough that the hallways, stairwells, trash rooms, elevators and elevator lobbies are not clean or well kept. Fellow residents are not courteous pet owners letting their dogs off leash in and around the property and not cleaning up after their pets

They have a nice facility but I was turned away by how rude and condescending the lady Tela in the front office was. She was rushing me to make a decision and if I didn’t decide fast enough her line was I have other people waiting. She was also short on the phone prior to the visit. This by far was the rudest encounter with a new Apartment. New housing is supposed to be a happy experience but she made me change my mind. I wouldn’t move here if I had to deal with her for the term of my lease.

I moved in September of 2016 and did not get the keys to my unit until my move in day. The apartment was anything but ready for rent. The carpets were smelly, stained and full of pet hair. Dishwasher did not work. Washer and dryer had clothes left in them and it took few empty loads with detergent and bleach to get the smell out. The overflow hole by washer and dryer was returning the bad smelling gasses and when brought up to the management it was indicated that it was "normal"! I had to pour in a lot of solution and bleach and cover it to prevent the smell. On top of everything the second bathroom toilet was clogged and it took them 4-5 attempts for a few weeks in the row to get it fixed. Meanwhile, for couple of weeks they were coming in changing toilet, trying to unclog, and spilling the toilet content all over the path (carpet), bathroom floor and walls. I was appalled and asked to be released from the lease and the manager, Cheryl, denied it saying that sometime things malfunction and that they have to be allowed to fix it and that I should be ok with that since I have a second bathroom?! What about health concern from all this induced bad hygiene?! Why would I rent a unit with two bathrooms if I did not need it? I was also not given the contact information to main Banyan management so that I can make a proper complaint. So, I had to clean the place the best I could and stay there for 8 long months. After I moved out, a week later I receive my move out confirmation stating that I had to pay 475$ for carpet replacement because, they said, that my pets urinated on the carpet. Amazing! So, if you still want to rent here please make sure you check the unit in detail before you move in because you will not be able to move out no matter what (unless you get a lawyer) until your term is over and at the end, even though you left it in the best condition you could, you may still end up paying for things you did not cause in the first place! I will never return to this place or any place owned by this company!!!

Everyday that we come home we feel like we are on vacation! The staff is super friendly, the apartments are all new, and modern in design. The balconies are very spacious with great views. Management does a great job communicating to residents about anything updates/changes/events happening. Within walking distance to several restaurants, a grocery store and easy access to 270!

If you're looking for trendy urban living this is the place to be.

The location is truly perfect with my need to hit the highway quickly. Very close to 270 gives you access to jump on 71 or 315 and get on your way. 3 miles from Polaris and 6 from Easton and literally yards away from the Worthington shopping mall and Kroger. The apartments are nice and clean and living here has been tremendous so far.

I'm someone who loves the idea of urban living but doesn't love being in a true downtown area, so for me this apartment is in an ideal location. I love having "functional walkability"--can I tell you how amazing it was to have the Worthington Farmers Market winter location literally just steps across the parking lot? And the grocery only a few steps beyond that? I can also walk to many restaurants, the library, and the Olentangy River Trail in a mile or less. Plus the easy access to the freeway...I just couldn't have picked a better location or setting for me when I moved to town at the start of the year. I love the rooftop deck, too. It's probably my favorite of the amenities here! So far, the management has been incredibly friendly and very responsive to maintenance requests as well as to questions in general. Overall, I am very glad I chose to live here. It's mostly quiet and very comfortable, both of which are important to me as a mid-career professional launching a new office for my company. I need a place that is worry-free and comfortable, and I have certainly found that here! I have no regrets, and neither will you.

I enjoy the apartment and the walk-ability of the area around the complex -- we can walk to the grocery, there's a great park area within walking distance as well . . .

I have the best apartment in Ohio it's a 2 bedroom in the newer part of worthington near the historic center with the foohlills entering Olentangy park. My apartment is the Perfect location 12 minutes to OSU 15 to downtown. Brand new mall in walking distance with a new Krogers. I can see new Albany from my balcony which is about 15 minutes , close to Dublin. The management is phenomenal . They have been the most compassionate accommodating staff in my lifetime. The community at the heights at worthington is amazing with great amenities in a sophisticated setting. If your looking for the best look no further than the heights.

My wife and I down sized from a Home to our Apartment Home at The Heights. We have been in our Apartment Home for almost a year. A great place to live. People are great. Excellent neighbors. Walk ability can not be beat. Close to shopping, restraints of all kinds and grocery store. It is an urban like setting in the burbs. Very good amenities. Close to bike path. It is our new Home and we feel good in it.

The Heights at Worthington Place is just a top drawer rental community! This is the perfect location for rental living in the Worthington area - just steps away from restaurants, shopping, the bike path (Olentangy Trail) and more! Amenities include - indoor mail boxes, separate trash and recycling on EACH floor; plus, a roof-top deck with grills, dining tables and chairs, a fitness room, outdoor pool, a secluded courtyard with fire-pit, a tavern with big screen TV's AND free coffee! Each unit offers stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and a washer/dryer combo. Secure parking areas are available, and the building also has a security system. When we decided to downsize last year, we were very disappointed with the other rental communities we looked at in NW Columbus. Then, we heard The Heights was opening in September of 2014. We delayed selling our lovely home until we knew we had a suite secured in The Heights! And are we ever glad we did! We have made friends with some wonderful new neighbors who are also transitioning their lives - young and old and in-between! Oh yes - the allow pets too! Honestly, you cannot beat this place - it has everything you could ever want in an apartment home! Come check it out today!!!

We moved in less than 3 months ago. We've found a pleasant mix of all types of tenants from young professionals to empty nesters (where we fit in). The rental office is open almost all of the time and we even find it staffed on Sunday sometimes. The amenities are nice including the pool, fitness room, and ample parking spaces in the garage. The apartment location makes it easy for quick walks to the grocery or to grab a bite to eat. It's close to the local fitness trail too. We're looking forward to spending time in this apartment and surrounding areas!

The Heights have some of the most phenomenal features and views for an overall great price. They feature granite countertops, pool views, rooftop yoga, and not to mention an exciting and uplifting staff. Two thumbs up for outstanding living in Columbus, OH

LOCATION is everything... and this location has everything! Great NORTH Columbus location in WORTHINGTON at I-270 with quick access to SR-315 and I-71; only steps away from shops, grocery, and restaurants. FABULOUS amenities in brand new buildings. Beautiful sunset VIEWS on top floors looking west, and courtyard or poolside views too. A VARIETY of super functional floor plans to choose from in 1-2-3 bedroom units. Balconies and ample covered PARKING, with an A-1 "wonderful" STAFF that bends over backwards to meet your needs. Cost effective with only slightly higher than COMPETITIVE rent for this area, but it feels like your living at a resort. Truly a "LUXURY" apartment. Sincerely written by "A Very Happy Resident"

With no small amount of trepidation I sold my home of 30 years. I could never have done it without discovering The Heights. Truly a community, an extended family, the staff knows everyone and treats us like one of their own. Located at The Worthington Mall, shopping, restaurants, and groceries are steps away. Every unit has a private balcony that either looks over the beautiful courtyard, the pool, or provides a panoramic view of the make. Each suite features hardwood floors, plush carpeting, and granite kitchen counters. Twelve to fifteen month leases are offered, and a 3% discount for paying the entire lease in advance, an opportunity which I took. Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate, and a refrigerator is offered for the taking in the gathering room, also featuring wi-fi and four wide screen televisions. A swimming pool and professional grills for cookouts is provided in the courtyard. Underground parking protects cars from the elements. I don't know what else anyone could ask for in an apartment community, and with the choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments and a pet friendly policy, everyone is welcome.
